Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence Customer Satisfaction and Service Quality to Customer Loyalty PT Batamindo Executive Village. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population used is all customers of PT. Batamindo Executive Village as many as 2715 people by using judgment sampling technique samples obtained as many as 100 people. The results of this studi indicate that partially independent variabel that is castomer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on castomer loyalty with the calculation results obtained tcount 0.7,779 > ttabel 1.98472 at the level of significance 0,000 < α 0.05 and quality service variables have a positive and significant on customer loyalty with the calculation results obtained tcount 3.562 > ttable 1.98472 at the level of significance 0.001 < α 0.05. Customer satisfaction and quality service simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with the calculation result Fcount 91,770 > Ftable 3,03 with significance level 0,000 < α 0,05. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction and service quality influence on customer loyalty PT. Batamindo Executive Village.

Abstract

This research is a study of language phenomena that occurs in social media. Instagram users often take action to upload pictures, videos, and memes by adding text and in English called 'Caption'. The caption implies a youth style that is abbreviated and practical. The language style is researched and there is the use of slang. The purpose of this study was to find out the construction and meaning of slang.The reason for using slang language found in the caption used by American on Instagram. Regarding this phenomenon, the researcher is interested discussing the phenomenon of abbreviated slang words found in the caption on Instagram social media. Furthermore, this study is a study qualitative descriptive method. The data is taken from Instagram accounts in a certain period of time. Data was collected by researchers for two months from middle of March to middle of May. The data collected is qualitative data. The data collection method used in this research is the Record method. The data analysis method used in this research is the method of matching and Agih. The data presentation method used in this research is an informal method. Referring to the three methods, the researcher used the Sudaryanto theory.

Abstract

Communication is important things for human being without communication people cannot share express their ideas, feelings, and information to each others. Langauge use to connect to human life by the conversation.This research analyzed about illocutionary act that find in Cinderella’s movie in 2015. This thesis analyzed what are types of illocutionary act and what are the context used in Cinderella’s movie. In this research, the researcher analyzed the types and context of illocutionary act that used in the movie. Illocutionary act consist of five types: assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declaration. This research is a descriptive qualitative. The technique of collecting data from this reseacrh is by observation method. The steps of analyzing the data, the researcher download and watching the movie. Then, the researcher take a note to write the utterance in the movie scripts and the researcher analyzed and caterogized the utterance that related to the types and context of illocutionary act. The data use informal way, which just by the words. The results of the data analysis are 20 there are 8 utterances that find of Assertive, 4 utterances of Commissive, 5 utterances of Directive, 3 utterances of expressive, and in the last is Declarative there is no declarative found in the data analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of efficiency and the effectiveness of hotel tax on the original revenue of Batam city in 2012-2017. The population in this research uses the sampling census method in the form of reports on the original revenue of Batam city for 5 years with 60 months of data. The test result shows that the efficiency of the hotel tax has a positive and partially significant effect on the local revenue. Meanwhile, the test result on the effectiveness of hotel tax has a positive and partially significant effect on the local revenue. Simultaneously, the efficiency and the effectiveness of hotel tax have a positive and significant influence on the local revenue.

Abstract

The application of ticket sanctions to traffic violations is indeed necessary to maintain security conduciveness in traffic. In Law Number 22 Year 2009 no specific sanctions are given if the annual tax display is not carried out. The ticket penalties given by Traffic Police have burdened the community because besides these sanctions it is not relevant in the case of motorized vehicles that do not pay annual taxes. As for the formulation of the problem in this study is how the implementation of ticketing sanctions on vehicle owners who do not pay annual motor vehicle taxation and the obstacles posed to the application of ticket penalties for vehicle owners who do not pay annual taxes on motorized vehicles. The aim of this research is to knowing the application of ticketing sanctions to vehicle owners who do not pay annual motor vehicle taxation and to find out the obstacles posed by the application of ticket penalties for vehicle owners who do not pay annual taxes on motorized vehicles. The type of research is normative legal research, namely the method or method used in legal research conducted by examining existing library materials. Giving sanctions by traffic police to vehicle owners who do not pay annual taxes on motorized vehicles not justified by law so that it cannot be applied. There are several factors that result in not being able to cross the ticket penalty, including legal factors, law enforcement factors, community factors.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset in a company or organization, so that the company is expected to be able to manage HRM as well as possible so that there is no performance degradation for each employee. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on employee performance. The sampling technique used in this study is the slovin formula, with data collection methods through questionnaires. Un campione totale in 115 persone provenienti from the 162 popoluzioni. Furthermore, the data that has been collected in this study is measured by many linear analyzers using SPSS 25. The results of this study show that from the test results t, it is known that for independent variables, motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. The F test result of 77.572 is greater than f table of 3.08 with level of truth of 0.000 the alpha value of 0,05 is smaller than the level og signifincance. indicating that the motivation variable, and the work environment variable together have an effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Increasing the value of the company is the company's main goal, namely by increasing stock prices. Increasing company profits and maximizing the value of the company is the company's goal to improve the welfare of shareholders to maintain the survival of the company. The company's financial manager can be expected to be able to understand the factors that influence the value of the company and prosper shareholders. This research was conducted with the aim of testing and analyzing the value of the company that affects the capital structure (Debt to Equity Ratio), profitability (Return On Asset), company size (Long Size) and dividend policy (Dividend Payout Ratio) as independent and firm value as dependent . The population in this study is the automotive sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017 which consists of 10 companies. The sampling technique in this study used skillful sampling so that the samples obtained were as much as 50 data. The analysis in this study used descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. From the results of this study, simultaneous capital structure, profitability, company size and dividend policy simultaneously have significant influence on firm value. Profitability and dividend policy variables have a significant effect on firm value while the capital structure and size of the company do not affect the value of the company. These results show a greater influence of provitability and dividend policy on the value of the company compared to the capital structure and size of the company.

Abstract

PT Haluan Kepri is a media company engaged in newspapers. PT Haluan Kepri always strives to improve employee performance. In this effort, it was found that there were still problems occurring within the company. Conflict Management and Job Stress are the problems facing this company. Wirawan defines conflict management as the process of parties involved in conflict and developing conflict strategies to control conflict to produce the desired resolution. And Hasibuan defines stress as a condition of tension that affects one's emotions, thought processes, and conditions. This research was conducted to determine the effect of conflict management and stress work performed by the company on employee performance. This research was conducted on employees of PT Haluan Kepri Batam and the number of samples was determined by 125 respondents using the Slovin formula. Based on the results of multiple regression studies, the following equation is obtained: Y =14,591+0,330X1+0,284X2. From the results of this study, it was concluded that conflict management has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. And conflict management and stress work together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT Haluan Kepri Batam.

Abstract

Affixation not only found in English but also in Batak Toba Language. The affixation process is one of the morphological processes. This research aims to describe the similarities and differences between English and Batak Toba language in forming noun attached by prefix and suffix based on the form and meaning. This research is qualitative research. In the data collection the researcher uses observation (simak) method by using uninvolved conversation observation (simak bebas libat cakap) technique. The method of data analysis used by the researcher is distributional (agih) method by using expansion (perluas) technique. The method of presenting research result, the researcher uses informal methods by using sentences or words. From the analysis that has been done the researcher found the similarities and differences of affixation between English and Batak Toba language in forming noun. The differences found by researcher namely prefix in English does not change the form of word class while the prefix in Batak Toba mostly change the word class. The similarities found by researcher is suffixes in both languages mostly changing the form of word class. In the aspect of meaning both of languages convert the meaning after adding the prefix and suffix to the base word.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test and analyze the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions, interest rates simultaneously and partially on the value of the company in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method is carried out with descriptive statistics, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, determination and hypothesis. The population used is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-1017. Of the 144 samples 9 samples were met that met the criteria for the study sample. Thus the data obtained for 45 data. the type of data used is secondary data. The partial test results show that investment decision variables affect the value of the company with a significant 0.00 <0.05. Funding decisions affect the value of the company with a significant 0.00 <0.05. The interest rate does not affect the company's value with a significant value of 0.750> 0.05. Taken together investment decisions, funding decisions and interest rates on firm value with a significant 0.00 <0.05 and proving that the multiple linear regression coefficient obtained is significant.
