Abstract

In an organization, a main guideline for the company in achieving the goals set is a response from human resources. This statement requires a workforce capable of managing company activities. In this study, to determine and analyze the effect of individual characteristics and work environment on employee performance at PT Batam Teknologi Gas. PT Batam Teknologi Gas has employees with inaccurate characteristics in recording stock, so they often experience the stocks don’t match, lack of work among employees, which results in many delayed tasks, and less initiative to jointly build a better company. In terms of the inadequate work environment, such as lack of air ventilation in the room, lack of lighting in the room, and disturbing noise when carrying out the assigned tasks. Population of PT Batam Teknologi Gas has 212 employees. Simple random sampling technique is a random sampling technique without paying attention to special criteria, in calculating the number of samples using the Slovin formula with a sample of 139 employees. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and method uses SPSS 25. Based on the test results, the individual characteristics and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

In the world of taxation, there are still cases of tax avoidance committed by some corporate people to minimize tax payments that must be paid by the company in ordered to get even more maximum profits. This study aims to determine the effect of certain variables namely Profitability, Leverage, Company Size and Capital Intensity on Tax Avoidance in property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study amounted to 61 property and real estate sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method so that 16 companies were registered that met the criteria in selecting the sample. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of financial reports obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the F test produce a significant effect that means Profitability, Leverage, Company Size and Capital Intensity simultaneously affect Tax Avoidance so that the regression model contained in this study is worthy of research. Partially, the t-test presents profitability that significantly affects tax avoidance, while leverage, company size and capital intensity have no significant effect on corporate tax avoidance.

Abstract

For an organization or agency, human resources are referred to as the main factor he driving force of the organization Whatever the goals of the organization, the organization must be formed based on various visions. The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence of motivation, and compensation simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT. Citra Mandiri Distribusindo. This study uses the saturation method sampling technique because the population is not large, namely 110 employees. That the number of population and samples in saturated sampling is the same. Data analysis is carried out using multiple linear regression analysis while testing the hypothesis in this studyn using the t test and the F test using the SPSS version 26 software program. Abstract

On 2020, a lot of e-commerce can be enjoyed on Indonesia. The internet users increasing every years. That can be be one of the most effective opportunities in the business world. Based on the Iprice Insight on Q3 of 2019, Tokopedia has the largest visitors than Shopee. On Q4 of 2020 Shopee matched the number of visitors Tokopedia. This study aims to determine wether there is an analysis the influence of ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement on buying interest e-commerce customers Tokopedia on Batam City. Researches conducted research with a total sample of 385 respondents based on the non probability sampling with sampling purposive. The method of the analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. Using statistical software SPSS 20. Based on the results of t-test research, it shows that the variable ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the f-test research indicate that ease of use, shopping experience and advertisement together have a positive and significant effect on buying interest, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

The stock price has an important value for a company, the high value of the share price in a company provides an opportunity for the company to generate dividends or capital gains. The development of stock prices certainly produces different analysis results that affect the company's net income so that the purpose of this study is to obtain tested explanative findings about the effect of profitability and activity ratios on share prices in mining companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research design used is quantitative which is processed using secondary data. The criteria established from 2015-2019. The measures used in this study are Return On Asset and Total Asset Turnover. The research method is processed using descriptive test, classical test which includes normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Another method used is the hypothesis test which includes the t test and f test with the results of the study showing that: the partial profitability ratio Return on assets has no significant effect on stock prices, the activity ratio partially Total Asset Turnover has a significant effect on stock prices and simultaneously. Profitability and activity ratios have no significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

Human resources is an important aspect for company's sustainability. Without human resources, an industry definitely cannot be operated properly. Therefore, human resources must be managed properly to increase the employee's productivity. A good human resources management also reflect the company's capability. The goal of this research is to find out the effect of motivation and work discipline to employee's performance in PT Istana Citra Indah that has about 108 employees. This research using statistical data analysis method by using SPSS Version 26 to get the significant results. The results of multiple regression shows that the variables of motivation and work discipline affect significantly positive to employee's performance based on the results of the regression equation and the value of R Square. Based on statistical data, the indicators that used in this research is valid and reliable. The hypothesis test in this research using T-Test that show motivation variable and work discipline affect significantly to employee's performance variable. Through the F-Test it shows that the variables of motivation and work discipline affect simultaneously to the employee's performance variable with the F Value is greater than the F Table.

Abstract

This research is intended to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on turnover intention at PT Martindo Fine Foods.The technique used in collecting data used in this research is the distribution of questionnaire using purposive sampling method, whereby the population and sample used in this research are all the employees working for PT Martindo Fine Foods amounting toa total of 120 respondents. This research uses two independent variables which are job satisfaction variable and organizational commitment variable.This research uses data analysis methods such as validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test,multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test, and hypothesis test. The result of this research show that job satisfaction variable does have influence and is significant towards the turnover intention of employees, so is the organization commitment variable does have influence and is significant towards the turnover intention of employees. Furthermore, job satiscation and organizational commitment variable simultaneously does haveinfluence and significant towards the turnover intention of employees of PT Martindo Fine Foods. Variables in this research have an influence44,8% towards the turnover intention of employees. The rest 55,2% are influenced by other variables coming from outside of this research.

Abstract

BWS Sumatera IV Batam City in carryin out reclamation activities on the island of Putri Nongsa,Batam city evaluates the policies issued.The activities carried out on Putri Island actually have an impact on the economic development of the people arround Putri Island,especially fishermen.Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate policies so that the regulations implemented in the field run according to what was planned at the beginning.According to law No 1 of 2014 concerning the management of coastal areas and small islands,reclamation of coastal areas and small islands is carried out in order to increase the benefits and or added value of coastal areas and small islands in terms of technical,environmental and socio-economic aspects.The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact felt by fishermen and also the surrounding community as one of the consequences arising from coastal reclamation activities in the island area of the city of Batam.Data Collection techniques are interviews,observation,and documentation.The research objects are employees of BWS Sumatera IV Batam City,fishermen,and the surrounding community.The research result is to evaluate reclamation activities that have an impact on the surrounding community carried out by BWS Sumatera IV Batam City which as a whole has not reached the standard because there are still gaps between related parties and society.Based on policy evaluation indicators,namely effectiveness,efficiency,sufficiency,equality,responsiveness,and efficiency,policy evaluation is still not effective and efficient enough so that this reclamation activity is still experiencing obstacles and obstacles in its implementation in the field which has not been able to have a significant impact on the economic sustainability of the community the surroundings.

Abstract

The main goal of every investor to invest should be to get a return on the invested capital, for this purpose, investors should see the financial performance of the company before investing. The main purpose of this research is to determine whether the financial performance measured by net profit is affected by the current ratio variable, the total asset turnover ratio, the debt / asset ratio and the return on equity. The population in this study consists of 10 manufacturing companies in the pharmaceutical subsector. This study uses purposeful sampling technique to determine which sample to take, and there are 8 companies sampled because they meet the specified sampling criteria. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. The results of the hypothesis test using the t test show that the current ratio does not have a positive effect on net profit at the t number <t table 0.375 <2.0422 and a significant 0.710> 0.05 level, the total asset turnover ratio is positive. net profit t> t table 2.248> 2.0422 and a significant level 0.031 <0.05, debt / asset ratio - t number <- t has no positive effect on net profit, i.e. - 1.536 <- 2.0422 and 0.134> 0.05 a significant level at the level of return on equity, t number> t table 2.109> 2.0422 and significant 0.042 <0.05 have a positive effect on net profit. The results of the hypothesis test using the F test, current ratio, total asset turnover ratio, debt / asset ratio and net profit at the same time of return on equity, 3.292> 2.69 with the table t> t and a significant 0.022 <0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of promotion and quality of service on the buying decision at the Capella Honda Batam Centre. This research uses a quantitative approach and nonprobability sampling techniques with a saturated sampling method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was filled in by 242 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The test results for the promotion variable were t count 4.426> t table 1.651 and sig t 0.000 <α 0.05. The result of quality of service variable test is t count 9.301> t table 1.651 and sig t 0.000 <α 0.05. The yield of the f test are f count 121.444> f table 3.033 and a significance of 0.000 <alpha 0.05, it can be concluded that promotion and quality of service partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the buying decision at the Capella Honda Batam Centre. The test yield of the coefficient of determination have a value of 0.504, which means that 50.4% of variations in buying decision variables can be explained by promotion and quality service variables, the remaining 49.6% is explained by variables not examined in this study.
