Abstract

The financial statements provided by each company are an important source of information in the investment business, the regulations set by BAPEPAM number : KEP-431/BL/2012 which states that companies must submit financial reports no later than four months after the end of the year.This study aims to determine the variable profitability, liquidity, company size on the timeliness of financial statement submission. The data used are secondary data in the form of annual reports for the period of 2015-2019 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the sampling technique using purposive sampling method. Based on the sample criteria, there were 14 samples. The analytical method used in this study is logistic regression and The results of the study were tested using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this study indicate that partially profitability, liquidity and company size or simultaneously did not significantly influence the timeliness of financial statement submission.

Abstract

Marriage is a legal relationship between a men and a women for a long term. Marriage between man and woman who aims to estabilish a family and have children for the next generation. After the divorce, the problem does not stop there, there are still more problems such as the sharing of shared assets during the marriage. The purpose of this study is to explain the factors that prevented the defendant from carrying out the sharing of assets in accordance with the Court Decision, and legal efforts so that the defendant carried out the Court's Decision. This research uses normative legal research. The results of this study are based on the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 27 / PDT.G / 2014 / PN.BTM. The Panel of Judges decided to reject the claim filed by the Plaintiff because the claim for the distribution of shared assets has not been proven by the Plaintiff that any property which is the right of the plaintiff, and also that the agreement was not made before the marriage took place, nor was it legalized by the Marriage Registrar in accordance with clause 47 KHI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of operating income and operating costs on net income of construction companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. It is known that the dependent variable is business income and operational costs, while the independent variable is net income. The population in this study were 16 companies selected using the purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data so that data in the form of annual financial reports are obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research method uses quantitative methods because it is in the form of financial statement data. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis and a sample of 8 (eight) construction companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the form of financial statements from the period 2015-2019. Financial statement data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). The analytical tool used in this research is the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 25. Based on the t test results, that partially operating income has a significant effect on net income with tcount of 6.088> ttable 2.026 and operational costs do not significantly influence profit net with tcount 0.915 <ttable 2.026. Then where the results of the F test simultaneously, that operating income and operating costs affect net income, by producing a value of Fcount 103.991> Ftable 3.252. The value of R square (R2) in this study explains that variations in changes in operating income and operating costs affect net income of 84.1%. While the remaining 15.9% can be said in other respects or said outside the variables of this study.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems facing the city of Batam. Where the poverty reduction strategies that have been implemented by the Social Service and Community Empowerment of Batam City so far have not been effective in reducing the amount of poverty that exists. One of the programs carried out by the Batam city government is Non-Cash Food Assistance and Uninhabitable Home Rehab. In connection with the problem under study, that is to find out alternative strategies that can be used by the government to tackle poverty in Batam. The method used is a SWOT analysis in which to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, oppurtunities, and threats of the Batam city poverty reduction strategy through structured interviews with questions prepared earlier. As the informant, namely the section head for handling the poor, the Social and Empowerment Office and the community receiving social assistance. The results of the study prove that poverty reduction strategies implemented by the Office of Social and Community Empowerment have not been able to reduce poverty. This is because the program is only to help meet the basic needs of the poor. Based on the results of research suggestions for the Social Service and Community Empowerment as an agency that handles poverty issues, to create programs that encourage the productivity of the poor so they can move from poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Amy's character in the Gone Girl novel written by Gillian Flynn. In conducting this research, the researcher used Freud's theory with psychological approach. In his theory, Freud introduced the structure of human personality, there are three namely id, ego and superego. The objective of this research is to find out Amy's Id in the novel Gone Girl. In analyzing this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method as a data collection technique. From this study, the researcher concluded that Amy’s Id is more dominant than other Freud's three personality of structures. The pleasure principle which is the main goal of Id was very clearly carried out by Amy, Amy's desire to revenge her husband is the part of the pleasure principle itself, because Amy was satisfied and relieved at a successful compilation of revenge plans. For the sake of achieving her wish, Amy was even able to do the unexpected things, when Amy's killed Desi, so Amy could return to Nick, satisfied with the compilation of seeing her parents who worried of her, and lying to everyone, Amy said that Desi was the one kidnapped her all this time.

Abstract

The related dividend policy concerns the use of profits which are the rights of shareholders. The dividend payout policy can have such an important impact on investors and companies that will pay.This research was conducted with the aim to examine and further test the effect of current ratio, return on equity, and debt to equity ratio on dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample selection technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria and 9 companies were included within a period of 5 years so that 45 samples were obtained. The data in this study are secondary data in the form of financial statements obtained through the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company's website. The results showed that partially the current ratio had a significant positive effect on dividend policy, return on equity had a significant positive effect on dividend policy, and the debt to equity ratio had no significant effect on dividend policy. The results of the F test analysis show that the variable current ratio, return on equity, and debt to equity ratio together have a significant effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

Copyright is the exclusive right for the creator or recipient of the right to announce or reproduce his work or give permission for it by not reducing restrictions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Cinema film is one of the works that has a copyright, but many Indonesian people broadcast cinema films without the permission of copyright holders on social media. The purpose of this study is for copyright holders to know what kind of protection is provided by legislation in Indonesia and what efforts so that broadcasting without permission does not occur. Based on the theory of legal protection that is used by the writer to examine normatively the legislation in force in Indonesia. Legal protection can be said as a separate description of the function of the law itself, which has the concept that the law provides justice, order, certainty, usefulness and peace. In preventive protection is preventive meaning this form of protection aims to prevent the occurrence of a violation of copyright, especially in the film. This protection provides prevention to reduce piracy or duplication of films that can cause harm. Broadcasting of this film is carried out using the internet media so that it is closely related to Law concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. There is also repressive legal protection which is the final protection in the form of sanctions such as fines, imprisonment and additional punishment given if a dispute has occurred or a violation has been committed. Lack of public understanding of copyright protection results in rampant broadcasting of cinema films without permission. Keywords: Broadcast without permission, Cinema Film, Copyright.

Along with the increase in the business world, especially companieshengaged in retail in the city of Batam, which has become negative in the eyes of the public related to work safety, workplace accidents, occupational diseases, This study is entitled "Legal protection for employees who work the night shift (study at PT INDOMARCO PRISMATAMA)". This paper aims to find out in depth about the implementation of legal protection and the factors that influence the implementation of legal protection for employees who work at night at PT INDOMARCO PRISMATAMA. This type of research is empirical juridical research, which examines problems or facts that occur in the field based on laws and regulations. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. In this case the owner or entrepreneur of PT INDOMARCO PRISMATAMA has been quite effective in implementing the provisions stipulated in the Law of the Republic of IndonesiakNumber 13 ofo2003 but one thing that cannot be implemented is the lack of security for employees who work night shifts. The reality on the ground is that most of the workers themselves object to the lack of safety guarantees when working at night. Abstract

This research discusses about apology strategies found in The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the type of apology strategies based on Trosborg’s theory in Ellen DeGeneres talk show. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method. Data is collected based on utterances contained in Ellen DeGeneres show using non-participatory techniques. In gained the data, the researcher watches The Ellen DeGeneres show on YouTube, then read the subtitle and observe the subtitle to find out the data. Then, researcher used identity method in analyzing data. The finding is shown that there are three types from five types of apology strategies in this talk show. They are: 4 direct apology (expression of regret and offer of apology), 3 indirect apology (explicit explanation, lack of intent and explicit acknowledgment) and 3 remedial support (offer of repair, blaming someone else and concern for hearer).In conclusion, that direct and indirect apology the most frequent data found in the Ellen DeGeneres show. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the pattern of the use of the walking gallery as a learning communication medium for student learning interest. Regarding the background of this study, because the Indonesian evaluation system uses different methods in the learning process. So is the cooperative learning model. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive methods. Descriptive research reconsidering facts, circumstances, variables and phenomena that occurred at that time and presents data that are considered to exist. On the basis of the results of tests conducted by researchers, it turns out the proposed hypothesis can be accepted. Hypothesis testing can show a significant positive effect between media gallery walk (X) on student learning interest (Y). Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The size of the effect of the pavement model on the size of education (X) on learning interest (Y) can be seen from the coefficient of determination of 0.475. The analysis found that 47.5% of the use of the Walk Gallery learning media towards the learning interests of Man Batam students.
