Abstract

Changes and developments in the company have a considerable impact on various fields that follow the world economy, from the industrial economy to the service economy. This research method is quantitative. The sampling technique used in this study is convenient / judgment sampling. The sample used was 105 respondents. The results of the research service quality variables have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, with a value of 1.991> 1.65978 (t-table) and a significant value of 0.049 <0.05. For standard operational variables the procedure has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction with a value of 8.976> 1.65978 (t-table) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. While simultaneously service quality and standard operating procedures have a significant effect on customer satisfaction with F count 41.47> 1.39 (f-table), the significance value obtained is 0.000 <α 0, 05. Based on the results of the R Square value (R2) of 0.448 or 44.8%. This means that the variable customer satisfaction can be explained by service quality variables and operational standard procedures 44.8% while the remaining 55.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This research is an application of Freud’s psychoanalysis theory into the novel “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The aim of the research is to find out the dominant id of the antagonist character named Stapleton and to reveal the cause of this character in threatening the Baskervilles family. The researcher uses psychological approach by Sigmund Freud or the theory of id, ego and superego. The researcher analyses and gives explanation about the dominant id of Stapleton character and reveals the motif of the character in threatening the Baskervilles. The researcher conducts a qualitative research. The data are obtained in the form of quotations from the novel “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The method of collecting data used is document study. The researcher uses content analysis as the method of analyzing data. The data are presented qualitatively and descriptively. The finding of the research shows that the id of Stapleton character is dominant because everything that Stapleton had done was only to fulfil his bad desire, his terrible wish captured the evidence that the id of this character was dominant and the motif of this character in threatening the Baskervilles is to obtain the riches and valuable estate of the Baskervilles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at Fanindo PT Bank Mandiri Syariah Branch. This research was conducted at PT Bank Mandiri Syariah Fanindo Branch which is located at Fanindo shop F Block No. 5-6. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people taken using probability sampling techniques with random sampling method. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 15 indicators. This research uses data analysis method using SPSS version 21 software with the name IBM SPSS Statistics 21. The analytical tool used is multiple linear analysis, hypothesis testing using T test and F test. And first test result hypothesis is produc quality partial effect on customer satisfaction. The second hypothesis i that service quality has a partial effect on customer satisfaction. The third hypothesis is product quality and service quality simultaneously or jointly influence the satisfaction of the customers of PT Bank Mandiri Syariah Fanindo Branch.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to figure out what are causes and effects of unfulfilled love and belonging needs through intimacy in a couple in the main character in Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (1877). In this research, researcher used the theory of Abraham H. Maslow (1970), the Hierarchy of Needs. This research is descriptive qualitative research, In the process of collecting data, researcher used the documentation method by reading the novel "Anna Karenina" and looking for the quotes that related to the formulation of the problem. In the process of analyzing data, researcher used the qualitative method by doing deeper reading technique. The finding of this research are: First, the causes of unfulfilled love and belonging needs towards Anna Karenina's character are getting married without love and affection, age difference, many lies and deception in the family, and Karenin's work and reputation. Second the effects of unfulfilled love and belonging needs in Anna Karenina's character are Anna’s affair with another man, Vronsky, driven away from home, hopeless and depressed, losing her good name, almost divorced, Anna was pregnant from Vronsky, and committing suicide. Thus, it can be concluded that the love and belonging needs towards Anna is unfulfilled.

Abstract

This research to examine the effect of Service Quality and Employee Performance on the Satisfaction of BPJS Patients hospitalized in Embung Fatimah Hospital. This type of research uses quantitative research. This study uses a questionnaire method which is the process of collecting data by making questions or statements, then submitted to respondents. The number of respondents was 30. Data processing and analysis techniques in this study used the classical assumption test, descriptive analysis, multiple linear analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis. This study shows that the independent variables namely Service Quality partially have a positive effect on Patient Satisfaction with the results of t-count calculation of 2.222> t-table with the acquisition of 1.703. The test results of Employee Performance variables also show a positive relationship with the results of the calculation of t-count of 1.256> t-table with the obtained value of 1.703. Service Quality and Employee Performance variables simultaneously influence Patient Satisfaction with the acquisition of f-counts of 4.289. By looking at this research, it is expected that the leaders of the Embung Fatimah Hospital will always be open and accept any complaints from patients or communities who use services and provide solutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and service quality on customer satisfaction directly. This research was conducted at PT Adhya Mahkota Golf Sukajadi Batam. This research is motivated by frequent complaints from customers, slow service to customers and not friendly in serving customers. This study aims to determine the effect of price and service quality on customer satisfaction Sukajadi Golf Course at PT Adhya Mahkota Golf S in Batam. The population this study customers of PT Adhya Mahkota Golf Sukajdi Batam playing golf at Sukajadi Golf Course. The sample in this study reached 154. The results analysis show that there is effect of price variable (X1) customer satisfaction (Y), it can be proved in the t test which shows tcount 6.779> ttable 1.97569 and significant 0.000 <0.05 positive and significant. Service Quality Variable (X2) customer satisfaction (Y), can be proven in the t test where it shows tcount 5.889> t table 1.97569 and significant 0.000 <0.05 positive and significant. Price (X1) and Service Quality (X2) have a simultaneous effect customer satisfaction (Y) with Fcount 366,197> Ftable 3.05 and value is significant at 0,000 <0.05 together have significant effect customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Financial transactions cannot be separated from the economy of a country. Financial institutions are used to process the transaction. Banks here play a role in financial institutions. The role of the bank is as an intermediary or intermediary between parties who have excess money with those who lack in funds / money. So the role of the bank itself is to collect funds from customers / communities such as deposits and channel to customers in the form of credit. It can be seen that in recent years the bank's performance was good. Where CAR is 17, 43% - 22.93% is above the standard that is> 8%. ROA is also above 2% indicating that the bank can use assets that it owns for profit. NPL is below the standard. This means that banks show a healthy state and the level of bad credit is low. This study was conducted to determine the effect of ROA, CAR, NPL on stock prices. The sampling technique of this study used purposive sampling technique. Then it can be concluded that ROA has a positive and significant effect, CAR has a negative and significant effect, while NPL has an effect but not significant.

Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has demands in terms of transportation facilities that are relatively faster, one of which is through air, which is necessity cannot be ignored. However, the growth of air transportation can also be misused by some people by violating the law. The purpose of this research is to find the term of accountability of criminal offenders in airplane based on the provisions of law criminal and also to know the policy of aviation crime in Indonesia. The study uses normative and analytical descriptive research methods. From this study the authors found that anyone in the airplane with the act unlawful appropriation or seize or retain control of aircraft in flight shall be imprisoned for twelve years in connection with Article 479l of the Criminal Code. The form of aviation crime in Indonesia through teh fixed procedure of securing air transport companies in accordance with Ministerial Decree KM.73 of 1996 concerning civil aviation security and also the implementation of passenger inspection procedures in accordance with the Director General of Civil Aviation SKEP/2765/XII/2010 which regulates procedures for checking passengers security.

Abstract

The implementation of adoption is considered irrational, cannot be accounted for, is contrary to the principle of child protection, and is less useful for the child concerned. This study aims to examine first, the implementation of adopted children's rights under Law Number 23 of 2002, second to find out the position of adopted children based on Law Number 23 of 2002 and the third examines the factors that cause a person to adopt a child. This research is normative juridical research. This research is normative juridical research. The results of the study were first obtained that the rights of adopted children have not been maximally implemented based on Law Number 23 of 2002. Practically there are still adopted children who do not get their rights such as persecution of adopted children, deprivation of adopted children's assets and murder of adopted children, trade in adopted children and discrimination against adopted children by adoptive parents is a violation of the rights of adopted children. Second, that the position of adopted child based on Law Number 23 of 2002 is as a child who must be protected by his rights and has a civil relationship with his adoptive parents.
