Abstract

This article discusses the resolution of presidential election disputes from the perspective of fiqh siyasah. This research applies a qualitative approach with library research as its method. The data collection technique employed is documentation, accompanied by data analysis techniques such as content analysis, induction, and deduction. The findings of this discussion indicate that integrating fiqh siyasah into modern politics is crucial, especially in Muslim-majority countries or those implementing Islamic principles in governance. Fiqh siyasah, emphasizing justice, transparency, accountability, and the common good, provides an ethical framework that can enhance the quality of democracy and the political process. This is relevant when facing modern politics, which is often rife with conflicts of interest. By basing policies on fairness and transparency, the government will be more just, more respected, and hold stronger legitimacy. Such policies also support social stability and harmony. In resolving presidential election disputes, fiqh siyasah acts as a guide in election audits and conflict resolution. The principles of shura and maslahah (public interest) help find solutions that benefit the entire society, reduce political tensions, and strengthen public trust in the democratic process.

Abstract

This article discusses the transformation of the concept of jihad in Islam through a historical approach, from the religious struggle that is integral in Islamic history to a narrowed interpretation that often leads to violence and terrorism. The main aim of this research is to provide an in-depth and systematic understanding of jihad, as well as how this concept has changed over time. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, where the authors analyze data from various library sources, including books, journals, and articles related to jihad. Using a historical approach, the authors explore how the meaning and practice of jihad has changed over time, thereby providing a deeper context regarding the development of the concept of jihad in Islamic history. The results obtained show that jihad actually has broader and more complex dimensions than is often perceived in the conrext of violence. This research also highlights the importance of religious education and interfaith dialogue to bulid a better understanding of jihad in the modern era. For further research, it is recommended that a more in-depth study be conducted on the application of jihad values in the current social and political context, as well as identifying ways to educate the public about the true meaning of jihad as as struggle for good.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of humans as subjects and objects in education based on the reflection of Surah At-Tin verses 4-6. This Surah portrays humans as beings created in the best form (ahsani taqwim) with the potential to fall to the lowest state (asfala safilin) if they fail to maintain faith and righteous deeds. The research method used is library research with a descriptive-qualitative approach, analyzing the meaning of the verses from the Qur'an and linking them to Islamic education theory. The results of the study show that as subjects of education, humans are responsible for developing themselves through the pursuit of knowledge, while as objects, humans require guidance to achieve their full potential. Islamic education, based on Qur'anic values, plays a vital role in maintaining the balance between physical and spiritual dimensions, as well as in shaping the moral and spiritual character of individuals. In conclusion, education based on religious values and the Qur'an plays a strategic role in guiding humans to fulfill their roles as active subjects and as objects requiring guidance to achieve the ultimate goal of life as khalifah on earth.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the philosophy of Muhammad Abed al-Jabiri's life, especially regarding the interaction between tradition and modernity in the context of the Islamic world. Al-Jabiri proposes a critical approach to Islamic intellectual heritage through epistemological analysis that divides tradition into three main systems: bayani (textualism), irfani (mysticism), and burhani (rationalism). He identified the dominance of bayani and irfani as an obstacle to the advancement of Islamic thought, and encouraged the rise of burhani to strengthen rationality and scientific methods in interpreting traditions. According to al-Jabiri, modernity is not something that should be rejected or accepted without consideration, but must be combined with Islamic values that have been reformed. With this approach, al-Jabiri proposed a reinterpretation of tradition that not only preserved the essence of Islamic culture, but also opened up opportunities for social and intellectual transformation. His thinking offers solutions to the challenges of globalization, intellectual stagnation, and the dynamics of modernity, with an emphasis on the importance of dialogue between tradition and modernity. The study concludes that al-Jabiri's thought has great relevance in building an intellectual framework that can bridge Islamic cultural identity with the demands of the times, thus allowing Muslim societies to play an active role in the ever-changing global world

In addition, the teacher also provides constructive feedback to students to improve their understanding of the material. Students responded positively to the jigsaw method, feeling more active, engaged and motivated in learning. They also felt an increased understanding of PAI materials, especially in terms of the ability to discuss, collaborate, and present the results of group work.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the spread of Islam has given rise to distinctive phenomena and traditions, largely due to its openness to external values, which has fostered assimilation and acculturation. This is evident in unique religious expressions such as the recitation of al-Diba'i, al-Barzanji, and Burdah, which reflect love and reverence for Prophet Muhammad and serve as a medium for seeking blessings and intercession. Despite the significance of these rituals for Indonesian Muslims, scientific research on their psychological and spiritual implications remains limited. This qualitative research employs a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing interviews, documentation, and observation to examine the tradition of al-Diba' recitation, particularly in Girikusumo, where the ceremony attracts thousands of participants weekly. While this tradition is often associated with certain Sufi Tariqahs, local practices emphasize community unification and da'wah rather than strict Tariqah affiliation. The active participation of youth in these events signals a revitalization of religious traditions, transcending generational boundaries. Participants are drawn to the practice for diverse reasons, ranging from spiritual pursuits to social networking, highlighting the broad appeal of the tradition. Most importantly, the recitation of Maulid al-Diba' fosters an egalitarian form of Islam, encouraging theological discourse across sectarian lines and reinforcing a Sufi Islamic identity that aligns with Indonesia’s cultural framework. This study concludes that, although not formally recognized as a Sufi ritual, the recitation of Maulid al-Diba' facilitates spiritual experiences, enriches religious consciousness, and strengthens individuals' connection to their faith and community.

The purpose of this study is to ensure that existing policies can provide maximum protection for consumers, especially in relation to the sharia principles underlying fintech operations. This study examines the applicable regulations, such as Fatwa DSN-MUI and OJK regulations, as well as the implementation practices of Islamic fintech in providing consumer protection. The results show that although consumer protection policies are adequate, challenges remain in terms of information transparency, dispute resolution, and effective supervision. This study suggests the need for clearer regulations and stricter supervision mechanisms to improve consumer protection in the Islamic fintech sector in Indonesia
