Al-Jabiri: Jurnal Ilmiah Studi Islam merupakan jurnal yang dihasilkan oleh para akademisi, sarjana, dan peneliti yang tertarik untuk mempelajari berbagai aspek Islam dari perspektif akademis dan ilmiah. Jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel yang berisi hasil penelitian, pemikiran, dan diskusi tentang berbagai topik yang berkaitan dengan agama Islam. Beberapa topik yang dibahas dalam jurnal ini meliputi sejarah Islam, teologi, hukum Islam, filsafat, sosiologi, dan antropologi Islam. Jurnal ini juga membahas masalah-masalah kontemporer dalam dunia Islam, seperti radikalisme, terorisme, dan ekstremisme. Al Jabiri memiliki standar akademik yang tinggi, dengan proses seleksi artikel yang ketat dan melibatkan para ahli di bidangnya. Jurnal ini juga diterbitkan dalam berbagai bahasa untuk memudahkan akses bagi pembaca dari berbagai negara. Al-Jabiri: Jurnal Ilmiah Studi Islam terbit sejak bulan Februari 2022 tepatnya sejak perilisan Volume 1, Nomor 1, Tahun 2022 dan terbit 2 kali dalam satu tahun. Dewan Redaksi mengundang penulis untuk mengirimkan naskah terbaik yang akan diterbitkan dalam Jurnal ini. Jurnal ini dikelola secara profesional oleh tim DAS Institute. Saat ini jurnal Al-Jabiri: Jurnal Ilmiah Studi Islam telah terindeks oleh beberapa mesin pengindeks seperti: Crossref, Moraref, Google Scholar dll. Editorial menerima artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa English (Bilingual). Setiap artikel yang masuk akan dibaca oleh tim editorial. Artikel yang dievaluasi oleh editor dan dianggap tidak sesuai dengan kriteria jurnal akan ditolak tanpa tinjauan eksternal. Artikel yang kami nilai berpotensi menarik bagi pembaca dikirim ke peer reviewer. Setelah dilakukan review naskah oleh reviewer, naskah akan dikembalikan kepada penulis untuk direvisi. Tim editor membuat keputusan berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer.

Abstract

SMA Takhassus Al-Qur’an is a pesantren-based school that has a language program called the bilingual class to create a language environment (al biiah al lughowiyah). The learning process emphasizes mastering the basic knowledge of Arabic, then applying and developing it. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the bilingual class program, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. Observation, interviews, and documentation are the data collection techniques used. The results of this research indicate that the Arabic day program is an additional activity carried out outside the classroom to help students understand and get used to speaking Arabic. The implementation of the bilingual class program begins with three stages: planning the preparation of learning materials based on students' needs in the form of vocabulary books. The implementation of the bilingual class program is carried out with a different learning concept in the classroom, where learning materials are packaged in a simple manner, and the teaching methods and models are innovative, creative, and enjoyable. Then, evaluations are conducted before (Pretest) and after activities (Post Test) in the form of basic language skills questions. The supporting factors of the bilingual class program include a more enjoyable atmosphere, simple materials, and more innovative learning methods. The inhibiting factors are the lack of learning facilities and limited implementation time.

Abstract

Graduating on time is every student's dream, but the facts on the ground are that there are many factors that influence late graduation. This article aims to answer the research question of getting lost on the right path in the view of Islamic theology regarding the case of students in the wrong major. This research is a literature review of the phenomenon of students getting the wrong major. The findings show: getting lost on the right path means realizing that what you experienced was not wrong, after thinking it was wrong at first. According to Islamic theology, God's will must be for the good of his creatures. God's provisions are not bad, because the provisions of destiny exist more because of grace and wisdom. Pure evil only comes from the perpetrator of the action. This research contributes to future research directions in the field of Islamic theology. Research synergizes logical aspects of reality and sacred theological aspects.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the aim of finding out several elements of Arabic grammar in Arabic textbooks and describing the problems of learning Arabic at MAN 1 Wonosobo. This research uses qualitative research in the form of field research. By using primary data sources directly through books, journals, etc., and secondary data, namely indirect sources through observations and interviews. So the data collection technique is carried out in accordance with the search for materials related to the research, then continues with specific data. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that grammatical elements are the most important part in studying linguistics, grammar in Arabic is usually called nahwu-sharaf. Nahwu talks about the interweaving or relationship of one word with other words that form a phrase or sentence, while sharaf discusses the internal aspects of words.

Abstract

This Study aims to: 1) To determine the application of outing classes in Arabic language learning for fifth grade students at SD Sa'adatul Islam Jambean. 2) Knowing the teaching methods and approaches used in implementing outing classes in Arabic language learning for fifth grade students at SD Sa'adatul Islam Jambean. 3) Knowing the obstacles and supporters that support interest in learning Arabic for teachers and students of class V at SD Sa'adatul Islam Jambean.Using a Qualitative Field Research approach, researcher acts as an observer. The data collection techniques use observation sheets, interview sheets, and documentation. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at SD Sa'adatul Islam Jambean.The research results show that: 1) Implementation of the outing class program begins with planning activities and providing materials before starting the implementation of outing class activities. 2) The learning method used is a combination of outing classes and learning methods with games which have the final result of increasing students' understanding of Arabic language material. 3) The supporting factors that are the benchmark for the success of the activity are the creativity and active role of the teacher as well as the activeness of students in participating in learning with this outing class. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of time given to Arabic language subjects at this school.Thus, it can be concluded that Arabic language learning activities using the outing class method are supported by careful planning and preparation as well as utilization of the existing environment, indicating an increase in interest and motivation in learning Arabic among fifth grade students at Sa'adatul Islam Elementary School.

Abstract

The phenomenon of intolerance and discrimination is still a significant problem in higher education, including in religion-based institutions. While it is expected to encourage inclusive and open attitudes, various forms of discrimination based on religious, ethnic, or cultural views are still frequent. This study uses a literature review approach to explore the application of tolerance values in preventing discrimination, especially in the context of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI). Through the analysis of theoretical frameworks, previous research, and institutional policies, this research identifies strategies for implementing tolerance in academic and social environments. Findings from the literature show that the value of tolerance is not only able to prevent discrimination but also strengthen harmony and cooperation among students with diverse perspectives. This study recommends the strengthening of tolerance education programs in an ongoing manner and the development of policies to create an inclusive and discrimination-free educational environment, especially in faith-based institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the values of multicultural education contained in the Semar Bodronoyo puppet story. Wayang, as one of Indonesia's cultural heritages, is often used as a medium for conveying moral and educational messages, including multicultural education. Semar, as the central figure in puppetry, represents a wise figure who symbolizes diversity and social justice. Through the analysis of Semar's character and interactions with other characters, the author identifies various values such as tolerance, cooperation, and respect for diversity. Through qualitative descriptive methods, this study analyzes the narrative and dialogue in the Semar Bodronoyo play to reveal the values of tolerance, justice, equality, and togetherness in cultural diversity. The results of the study indicate that the Semar Bodronoyo story contains important messages about respect for differences in culture, religion, and outlook on life, as well as the importance of mutual respect in a multicultural society. This research is expected to contribute to the development of multicultural education in Indonesia by using local cultural media, such as wayang, as a learning tool. The values contained in this wayang are not only relevant in the context of Javanese culture, but also provide universal lessons for modern society in facing the challenges of globalization. Thus, Wayang Semar Bodronoyo can be used as an effective educational medium to develop multicultural attitudes among the younger generation.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country rich in cultural, ethnic, religious, linguistic, and social diversity. This diversity is both a strength and a challenge that requires effective management, particularly in the field of education. Multicultural education in inclusive schools plays a crucial role in instilling values of tolerance and appreciation for diversity. Inclusive schools, designed to accept students from various backgrounds and needs, serve as a strategic platform for integrating multicultural education. This article aims to examine the urgency of implementing multicultural education in inclusive schools through a literature study approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of multicultural education can be carried out through various strategies, such as inclusive curricula, intercultural dialogue, collaborative learning, diverse teaching staff, diversity-based extracurricular activities, cross-cultural interactions, the use of technology, and creating a safe environment. However, this implementation faces challenges such as limited teacher understanding, lack of resources, prejudice, and insufficient family support. Proposed solutions include teacher training, provision of adequate resources, and collaboration between schools and families. With the right steps, multicultural education in inclusive schools can contribute to the formation of a tolerant, inclusive generation capable of living harmoniously in a multicultural society.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the concept of seeking knowledge using the Muṭāla'ah, Mużākarah, Munāżarah method in the book Wasāyā Al-Ābā' Lil Abnā' by Shaykh Muhammad Syakir and how to contextualize seeking knowledge using the Muṭāla'ah, Mużākarah, Munāżarah method in the book Wasāyā Al-Ābā' Lil Abna'. The author uses a qualitative approach through libraries (Library Research) to collect data obtained through books, literature and online media, so the library method data collection is scientific in nature which comes from primary data and secondary data.The results of this research are: First, the concept of seeking knowledge in the book Wasāyā Al-Ābā' Lil Abnā', the importance of knowledge from various spiritual, moral and intellectual dimensions in seeking knowledge. There are 4 concepts in seeking knowledge, namely: the importance of seeking knowledge, goals in seeking knowledge, utilizing time, obstacles to seeking knowledge. Second, the concept of the Muṭāla'ah, Mużākarah, Munāżarah method in seeking knowledge, the Muṭāla'ah Method, if you want to get goodness and blessings then keep deliberating and learning even though you already understand. Mużākarah method, keep reviewing the lessons that have been studied so that they are firmly in your memory and avoid forgetting. The Munāżarah method, respecting each other's opinions when discussing and maintaining etiquette are important. Third, contextualize the concept of seeking knowledge using the Muṭāla'ah, Mużākarah, Munāżarah method in the book Wasāyā Al-Ābā' Lil Abnā': a) contextualization of the concept of seeking knowledge in this book, we as the young millennial generation should be able to pay attention to steps to seek knowledge that not only develop logic, but also worship that has certain rules, manners, goals and methods. b) contextualization of the Muṭāla'ah, Mużākarah, Munāżarah methods in this book, 1) Muṭāla'ah method, which includes independent learning, overcoming forgetfulness, strengthening literacy, and the use of digital technology. 2) Mużākarah Method, which includes collaborative learning, developing soft skills, increasing understanding of concepts through discussion. 3) Munāżarah method, which includes formal education, informal education and social life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between extracurricular activities of Reading and Writing the Qur'an with the learning outcomes of Arabic language subjects for grade 5 students at MI Ma'arif Kliwonan Wonosobo. Because, in the world of education, teachers and schools must work together to improve the quality of learning so that they can produce quality students. Judging from the importance of the Qur'an in everyday life, the teacher's task as an educator is not only to improve academic abilities, but also to guide and direct students so that they are able to use the Qur'an as a guideline in carrying out daily activities. This study uses a quantitative research approach where this study focuses more on investigating the relationship between variables and testing theories. Data analysis was carried out using data collection techniques, then analyzed, compared and combined to form a systematic, integrated, and complete study. The population in this study were all grade 5 students of MI Ma'arif Kliwonan with a total number of samples used, namely 20 students. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant correlation between the ability to read the Quran of grade 5 students in the BTQ extracurricular with learning outcomes in the Arabic subject of grade 5 students of MI Ma'arif Kliwonan Wonosobo with a significance value of r count of 0.6442, where the results are greater than the r table value both at a significance level of 5% (0.4438) and 1% (0.5614).
