Abstract

According to UNICEF, there are two causes that can affect the nutritional status of children under five, namely direct causes and indirect causes. There are two direct causes, namely nutritional intake and infectious diseases. Nutritional intake can be caused by an unbalanced intake of food consumed or food that does not meet the requered nutritional elements. Meanwhile, infection causes damage to several functions of the body’s organs so that they cannot absorb food substances properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the incidence of infectious diseases and the level of protein consumption with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 24-59 months in Sanleo Village, East Malaka District, Malaka District, East Nusa Tenggara. Analytical research method with cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 92 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Using Chi-square  data analysis test. The result of study based on bivariate analysis that were not related to the nutritional status of toddlers 24-59 months in Sanleo village, East Malaka sub-District, Malaka District, East Nusa Tenggara, were infectious diaseases with a p value 0,35 > 0,05, while those related to nutritional status were the level of protein consumption with a P value (0,00) < α (0,05).The variable related to nutritional status is the level protein consumption. Research advice, the community needs to increase protein consumption for toddlers so that the nutritional status of toddlers can be maintained.

Abstract

Malaria has been a health issue recently that can cause death. The high incidence of malaria is closely related to several factors. Such as during the rainy season where spring water flows stagnant, in puddles of rainwater on the ground, and in rock holes. In the dry season, groundwater sources decrease, causing puddles to form along rivers. These puddles of water are used as breeding places. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between puddle water conditions and the incidence of malaria in Waimaringi Village. The type of research used was analytical observational with a cross-sectional approach. Population size 800 respondents. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, totaling 267 respondents. Data analysis used bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The research results were found to be significant at 0.000 or smaller than 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted where there was a relationship between puddle water conditions and the incidence of malaria in Waimaringi Village.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Indonesia ranks third in the world's tuberculosis burden (8%) after India (27%) and China (9%). The increase in the number of incidents in Indonesia continues to increase every year. Even though there are many prevention and management efforts, the spread of tuberculosis bacteria is very easy. This research aims to determine the relationship between practical hygiene. And environmental sanitation against the incidence of TB in the Kesamben Community Health Center Working Area, Blitar Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a survey and analytical observational design with a retrospective approach (case control). The population of this study was the community in the Kesamben Community Health Center working area using purposive sampling technique and found as many as 40 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, analyzed using SPSS with Logistic Regression Test with α = 0.05. The statistical test results show that there is a relationship between hygiene practices and the incidence of TB with a sig value. 0.005 and there is no relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of TB with a sig value. 0.121. This is because the habit of practicing cleanliness is not being used, especially the use of masks which are considered to interfere with breathing when carrying out activities such as work and other activities. It is hoped that future research can develop research related to the incidence of TB using other variables, for example health services, knowledge, PMO and more variables.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one of the goals of the Surabaya City Government in the 2016 - 2021 RPJMD which has been formulated in the performance of government administration and public services with the target of increasing the capacity and competence of government officials, improving good government administration and improving the quality of public services. This type of research is cross sectional study. Analytical survey research design. The population is BPJS patients at the Medokan Ayu Surabaya Community Health Center in 2021, totaling 310 respondents in the last 3 months. The sampling technique used accidental sampling so that the sample was 75 people. Data collection uses questionnaires, and data analysis uses contingency coefficient correlation. The results of the research show that bivariate analysis with the results of the correlation hypothesis test of the contingency coefficient for each variable, obtained a BPJS type variable with a p-value of 0.002 (p<0.005) with a correlation coefficient value of 0.346, meaning that the level of strength of the relationship is sufficient and the value is positive so that the relationship is in the same direction. The access variable has a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.005) with a correlation coefficient of 0.429, meaning that the level of strength of the relationship is sufficient and the value is positive so that the relationship is in the same direction. The interpersonal aspect variable has a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.005) with a correlation coefficient of 0.402, meaning that the level of relationship strength is sufficient and the value is positive so that the relationship is in the same direction. Patient satisfaction is an important element in evaluating the quality of BPJS services by measuring the patient's response after receiving the service. With an assessment of these services, it is hoped that these health service facilities will continue to exist and continue to develop (Abidin, 2016). Several factors that give rise to a sense of satisfaction in patients are access, interpersonal aspects. Based on this, the researchers assume there is a relationship between BPJS Type, Access and Interpersonal Aspects on patient satisfaction at the Medokan Ayu Surabaya Community Health Center in 2021.
