Abstract

The aim of this study is to proof the influence of macro-economic, especially inflation, interest rate and exchange rate to composite stock price index in Indonesia Stock Exchanges. The data observed are secondary from the online system from Januari 2011 up to Februari 2015. The analytical technique used is multiple regression analysis. The result of this study found that the rate of inflation, interest rates and exchange rate are simultaneously have significantly influence on composite stock price index with Adjusted R 2 of 0,658, which means that 65,8% variance of composite stock prices index can be explained by the 3 variables and the rest is out this study. Partially, found that the variable inflation rate does not influence on composite stock price index, while the variable interest rates has a negative and siginficant influence on the composite stock price index, and the variable rate has a positive and significant influence on composite stock price index.

Abstract

The research is aimed to evaluate the performance of High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) machines in the Nusametal division of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk whether it has met the world class companyas guided by the company’s vision.The research uses descriptive approach. The quantitative analysis technique here uses Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) score analysis. The result from OEE score calculation will be compared with standard OEE score for world class companies. Meanwhile, the result is also analysed qualitatively by identifying six big losses which cause downtime in HPDC process. The research data uses the Production Daily Report (LHP) for the period of January to December 2014.The data calculation concludes that the average OEE score of HPDC machines in the Nusametal division of Astra Otoparts Tbk is 61.60% which means has not met the standard of world class company yet. Based on the identification of six big losses, the machine breakdown is the major contributor (51%), followed by setup and adjustment (26%), production rejects (17%) and small stops (6%). Meanwhile, referring to the OEE category, the downtime loss is the major contributor of machine downtime (77%), followed by quality loss (17%) and speed loss (6%).

in the last decade, company believed their reputation and corporate image is two things that really important for company concern. Their existence is really need the support from public. Corporate sosial programs held in order to strehgthen the sustainability of the campany in a region, by building coopertion among stakeholder by arranging community relation program. For development sosial programs, public relations needs to observe by using the stages in the process for the developing community relations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of the academic supervision, motivation of principal, and the work environment to the improvement of teacher performance and de termine which variables are most strongly affect the performance of teachers. The study population was 60 high school teachers Yadika 8 Jatimulya and the entire population of the research sampled . Samples were taken with the Proportional techniques clust errandom sampling. Techniques of data collection using questionnaire instruments. Validity of the items tested by product moment correlation person, while the coefficient of reliability was tested with Cronbach alpha formula. Strong relationship occurs between the academic supervision, motivation of principal and the work environment with teacher performance improvement. Variable the motivation of principal has more influence on the improvement teacher performance than academic supervision and the work environment. Furthermore, there is simultaneously a significant positive effect of joint between the academic supervision, motivation of principal and the work environment to the improvement teacher performance. A partial significant positive effect on improving performance of academic supervision, motivation of principal and the work environment to the improvement of teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision, school leadership, and motivation to the improved performance of teachers at SMAN 32 Jakarta. This research was conducted through questionnaires by teachers at SMAN 32 Jakarta, samples were taken and processed as many as 54 respondents. For data analysis methods using path analysis. Results of this study indicate that simultaneous supervision, school leadership, and motivation direct and significant impact on the improvement of the performance of teachers at SMAN 32 Jakarta, and the results obtained partial processing and data analysis using SPSS 22 shows that Supervision direct and significant impact on motivation teachers work in SMA 32 Jakarta amounting to 0.267 or 26.7%, supervision is not a positiv e direct effect on Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 32 Jakarta, with the result of calculation of 0,225, or 22.5%, Leadership Principal direct and significant impact on work motivation teachers in SMA Negeri 32 Jakarta, with the result of calculation of 0 ,427, or 42.7%, Leadership Principals do not have direct impact positively on Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 32 Jakarta, with the result of calculation of 0,244 or 24.4% and working motivation has no direct effect positive on teacher performance SMA Negeri 32 Jakarta, with the result of calculation of 0.106 or 10.6%.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership style, motivation and work environment on teacher performance, and determine which variables are most strongly affect the performance of teachers. The study population was 48 teachers of SMK Heritage I Jakarta and the entire population of the research sample. The result is the percentage of variables influence the leadership style of the principal (X1) to variable teacher performance that is equal to 36.9% and the correlation coefficient of 0.541 ry1, the influence of work motivation (X2) to variable performance of teachers is 31.6% and the correlation coefficient ry2 amounted to 0.615, the influence of the working environment (X3) on teacher performance variable that is equal to 38.8% and the correlation coefficient of 0.567 ry3, when compared to the three turned out to be the working environment have a greater influence. Simultaneously the dependent variable of teacher performance is determined by the independent variables jointly by 58.2%. That is 100% - 58.2% = 41.8% of teacher performance is influenced by other factors outside of the independent variables in this research.

Abstract

Yayasan Abdi Karya (Yadika) is a foundation engaging in education, including the junior high schools or Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). In terms of quality management, Yadika evaluates the teacher performance every year. Supposedly, the results of the evaluation are used to improve the performance of teachers in order to achieve the objectives of education. Yadika implements a rating scale method in the teacher performance assessment. However, the assessment seems intended for administration use only, without clear measures of teaching performance itself. Its measures are mostly used as formal requisites for job promotion and salary adjustments. Due to the weakness of the current method on performance evaluation, therefore, this paper aims to review ways to improve the method. It is suggested the method may include measurement of the real activities of the teacher, such as the class management and teaching skills. Those activities directly improve the teacher’s achievement and quality in line with the education mission of YADIKA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal control, compliance, compensation management to ethical behavior of employees Center of PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk. This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires to the respondents. The sampling method used is purposive sampling and data that meet the criteria are as many as 60 samples. Multiple linear analysis is a technique of data analysis used in this study. The results obtained showed that partial internal control does not affect the ethical behavior of employees, compliance affect the ethical behavior of employees and management compensation does not affect the ethical behavior does not affect the ethical behavior of employees Center of PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk.

Abstract

Every interest that involve two individuals or two parties could cause something that is called agency problem, where both parties do not have the same information and interest ( asymetric information). Agency problem could happens in conventional (western) management or Islamic management. It involve two types of asymetric information, those are adverse selection and moral hazard. Since the very beginning agency problem was a big problem in Islamic finance management. This is because Islamic finance management has a trust value greater than in western. That is why track record become one of the most important indicator for minimizing agency problem.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the impact of students' perceptions on the use of learning methods of debriefing, discussion and motivation to excel on learning outcomes in mathematics. The sampling technique is proportionate stratified random sampling that by using Solvin formula provides 204 students from a population of 418 samples. Data collection technique of students’ perceptions, discussion, and motivation to excel has been done by using primary data by questionnaire. Mathematics learning result is obtained from secondary data by using multiple-choice question result in the final exam of the third semester. While the methods of analysis used in this study were multiple linear regression. The result of this study indicates that there is significant impact of studens’ perceptions on the use of debriefing as learning method on the result of mathematic learning outcomes, that there is significant impact of motivation to excel on the result of mathematic learning outcomes, that there is significant impact of students’ perception on the use of debriefing, discussion, and motivation to excel altogether on the result of mathematic learning outcomes. Nevertheless, there is no significant impact of students’ perception on the use of discussion as a learning method on the result of mathematic learning outcomes.
