This research method is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The researcher was carried out by collecting data in accordance with existing events. Then the data was analyzed by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and then drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that national development in Indonesia will be realized well if there is a communication and information media in the form of a social network that is used by the community correctly, ethically and can be accounted for its truth. Development information can reach the wider community through cooperation between the community and the local government, namely by holding counseling in all places where the community is evenly distributed.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, religious practices are increasingly adapting to new media platforms. This study explores an innovative approach to Islamic preaching (dakwah) that integrates TikTok live streaming with Mobile Legends gameplay. Focusing on the popular TikTok account @Abiazkakiaa, this research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with virtual ethnography methods to analyze how traditional religious messages are being reimagined for a digital, youth-oriented audience. The study examines the unique intersection of social media, gaming, and religious communication, investigating how TikTok's features are utilized to create an engaging space for dakwah. Through in-depth analysis of live streaming sessions, user interactions, and content strategies, this research provides insights into the effectiveness of this novel preaching method in reaching and influencing younger generations. Key findings reveal the formation of virtual religious communities, the adaptation of Islamic teachings to gaming contexts, and the challenges of balancing entertainment with religious integrity. The study also highlights the shifting perceptions of religious authority among youth and the increasing importance of technological literacy for religious leaders. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on digital religion, offering valuable insights into the future of religious communication in the age of social media. It addresses crucial questions about the role of technology in shaping religious practices and the potential for innovative approaches to revitalize traditional forms of religious outreach.

Abstract

Language development in humans is part of cognitive development. Children's language development is a process in which they acquire the ability to understand and communicate through speech. Before achieving fluency, a child may gradually comprehend basic verbal patterns and enhance their vocabulary during this stage. Children's grammar development progresses from one word or sentence, but some sentences, especially those with prepositional phrases, rules, and plurals, need correction. Early language development involves many errors, so parents must patiently correct mistakes. Language development in early childhood is fundamental. This paper aims to review the language development profile in children under the age of five. The research method used is literature review and library research. The results show that the language development profile in children under five follows stages that include word usage in sentences and comprehension building.

Abstract

The abstract should summarize the context, content and conclusions of the paper in less than 200-300 words. It should not contain This study examines the relationship between content creation activities on the Facebook platform and the development of public speaking skills. Through a quantitative analysis of 120 Facebook content creators, this study investigates the correlation between content creation experience, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. The research methodology uses a survey approach with a questionnaire that includes variables such as duration of experience as a content creator, amount of content produced, level of self-confidence, and public speaking skills. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis showed that self-confidence has a very strong positive relationship with public speaking skills (r = 0.83), while the amount of content produced showed a strong correlation (r = 0.72), and experience as a content creator had a moderate correlation (r = 0.65). Linear regression analysis confirmed these findings, with self-confidence emerging as the strongest predictor (B = 0.58, p < 0.001) of public speaking skills. The age factor showed a weak correlation (r = 0.18), indicating that the development of public speaking skills through content creation is not limited by age factors.

Abstract

Digital broadcasting has rapidly evolved in recent decades, transforming the way people access information and consume entertainment, especially with the growth of platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. In Indonesia, this evolution presents both opportunities and challenges for the preservation of the nation’s cultural identity amidst the wave of globalization. This study aims to explore how digital broadcasting can be used as a tool to promote and preserve Indonesian culture, as well as the challenges it faces in maintaining local cultural authenticity. By employing a qualitative approach, including digital media content analysis, in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and thematic analysis, the study examines how Indonesian cultural content is presented on digital platforms, the involvement of young people in cultural preservation, and the obstacles such as global cultural homogenization, lack of policy support, and competition from global content. The findings suggest that digital platforms provide significant opportunities for broader exposure and cultural diversification, but they also present challenges that require strategic approaches to protect and promote Indonesia's cultural heritage in a digital era

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) on the field of digital linguistics, with a focus on syntactic and semantic analysis, machine translation, and sentiment analysis. The research aims to evaluate the performance of three advanced AI models GPT-3, BERT, and RoBERTa in these areas. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative analyzes to assess the models' abilities to process complex sentence structures, understand word meanings, translate between languages, and detect sentiments in text. The results indicate that GPT-3 outperforms BERT and RoBERTa in most tasks, achieving the highest accuracy in syntactic analysis, semantic analysis, and machine translation. However, all models face challenges, particularly in handling semantic ambiguity, figurative language, and culturally specific contexts. Despite these limitations, the findings highlight the potential of AI in advancing linguistic research and the need for further development to address the complexities of human language, including its social, cultural, and emotional dimensions.

Abstract

Public speaking is an important communication skill in various contexts, both in academic, professional, and social environments. This study aims to identify strategies that can be used in public speaking learning through lectures, with a focus on developing communication skills and self-confidence. The literature review shows that lectures as a teaching method can be enhanced by techniques such as speaking simulations, providing practical examples, constructive feedback, and a gradual approach starting from small groups to larger audiences. These strategies have been shown to be effective in reducing public speaking anxiety and helping participants hone their communication skills. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and in-depth public speaking learning in various educational institutions.

Abstract

This study explores the digital-based public communication strategies implemented by the Teluk Bintuni Regency Government, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities of utilizing technology to convey information to the public. As a developing region in West Papua, Teluk Bintuni faces unique geographical and infrastructural challenges, alongside a diverse cultural landscape. The study highlights how digital media, including social media platforms, websites, and online applications, is used to disseminate government policies, development programs, and emergency information. However, it also identifies key barriers such as limited internet access in rural areas, low digital literacy, and insufficient technological infrastructure. The study examines how traditional communication methods, such as local language usage and the involvement of community leaders, play a vital role in ensuring effective communication in remote areas. Additionally, the research provides strategic recommendations for overcoming these challenges, such as improving digital infrastructure, enhancing digital literacy, and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders. The findings underscore the need for a hybrid communication approach that integrates both digital and traditional methods to bridge the digital divide and ensure inclusive public communication in Teluk Bintuni.
