The study aims to understand how this model contributes to job opportunities, economic empowerment and community development within the District. In terms of methodology the study adopted a mixed methods approach, the study combined qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Surveys was quantified the extent of job creation, while interviews were explored the perceived social and economic impacts on the local population, including challenges encountered in implementing this model. Results: The results revealed that the implementation of the integrated development model (IDM) in the Gasabo District reveals significant positive outcomes, particularly in healthcare, infrastructure, and financing initiatives for women and youth. High approval ratings were noted for health center establishment (M = 4.90, SD = 0.43) and infrastructure improvements (M = 4.70, SD = 0.71), underscoring their critical roles in economic development. Job creation showed promise, with small-scale business initiation with mean score of 4.66 although challenges in income diversification persisted (Meam = 3.84, St. dev = 1.26). A strong correlation (R = 0.807) was found between various predictors and job creation, with skills development emerging as a significant predictor (B = 0.149, p < .001). The study concluded that Moreover, the R Square value of 0.651 indicates that approximately 65.1% of the variance in job creation can be attributed to Integrated Development Model (IDM) implementation in the Gasabo District. Limitations: the limitations of the study conclude potential biases in self-reported data and the geographical limitation to Gasabo District, which may not fully capture the national context. Contribution: The findings of this study contributed to the understanding of integrated development program models in job creation and provide policy recommendations for enhancing these interventions. By highlighting the role of community-based interventions, this research can provide a scalable model for other districts in Rwanda and beyond. Importantly this research increased insights into how integrated development program models can address unemployment and promote sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Allocating resources optimally is crucial for businesses aiming for both strategic and operational success in the complicated and cutthroat business environment of today. By converting data into usable insights, advanced business analytics (ABA) provides useful techniques and tools that improve decision-making. The purpose of this study is to examine how well ABA optimizes resource allocation, highlighting its contribution to increased operational performance and tackling the difficulties encountered in dynamic contexts. To learn more about the use and effects of ABA, the study uses a qualitative research methodology based on secondary sources, examining case studies, industry reports, and existing literature. The underutilization of ABA in businesses as a result of obstacles including a shortage of qualified staff, poor data quality, and change aversion, is the main topic addressed. Important conclusions show that firms that successfully use ABA benefit from better decision-making, more agility, and more efficient use of resources. However, the broad use of analytics is constrained by ongoing issues with data governance and cultural resistance. One of the study's shortcomings is its dependence on secondary data, which might not fully represent the range of organizational experiences with ABA. However, the results have important theoretical and practical ramifications, indicating that to properly utilize advanced business analytics, firms need to make investments in training, data quality enhancements, and cultural change. This study adds to the expanding corpus of research on ABA and offers practitioners practical advice for improving resource management techniques.

This study was set to examine the effect of long-range planning and sustainability of projects in greater Kabale district a case of Projects Implemented by The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC).The study followed a cross sectional survey design. Data from 163 respondents was collected and analyzed quantitatively complemented with qualitative analysis. Since descriptive analysis entailed description of a single variable and its attributes, frequency tables were used to present the data. At the bivariate level, a Pearson correlation matrix was conducted to ascertain the relationships between the predictor variables and the dependent variable. A linear regression model was used to fit the data. Research findings from the regression model show that long range planning affects sustainability of projects among the projects implemented by IFDC in greater Kabale District with (R=762), The results and discussion above make it abundantly evident that IFDC in greater Kabale District long range planning restrictions are a strong predictor of sustainability of projects in greater Kabale District. This highlights how crucial it is for IFDC to always involve projects stakeholders in long range planning if projects are to be sustainable.
