Abstract

Introduction: The phenomenon of radicalization in developing countries often occurs and poses a serious challenge to the security and social stability of these developing countries. Deradicalization efforts should not be limited to security measures alone, but can also be addressed through socio-religious approaches, utilizing Islamic philanthropy to counteract deradicalization, particularly in Indonesia. Research Methods: This study employs a literature review method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data were obtained from various secondary sources—such as books, journals, institutional reports, regulations, and relevant official publications—and subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. Results: Islamic philanthropy, which encompasses zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf, plays a crucial role in strengthening welfare and modernization within religion. One of the factors of radicalism is social and economic inequality. The existence of Islamic philanthropic institutions can address this gap and strengthen their thinking, preventing them from being easily tempted by radicalism. Conclusion: Therefore, philanthropic institutions are required to be managed in a structured and professional manner to achieve prosperity for the people.

Abstract

Introduction: Based on research data, LMI Ponorogo has implemented several fundraising strategies. However, the achievement of zakat collection in LMI Ponorogo is still relatively small when compared to the zakat potential in the region. Research Methods: This study uses a qualitative method with a field research type. The collection method uses interviews and observations. Data collection techniques include interviews with LMI Ponorogo administrators. Analysis uses an interactive data analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results: The results of the study show that LMI Ponorogo's fundraising strategy is divided into two ways, namely direct and indirect. The factors behind this strategy are due to the lack of Ponorogo people to pay zakat. Conclusion: A supporting factor for success is that LMI Ponorogo has quality human resources in the social marketing process to the community in collecting zakat, so that there is an increase in muzakki paying zakat in LMI Ponorogo.

Abstract

Introduction: The collection of zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) funds through official institutions still faces various challenges, such as low public awareness, limited use of digital technology, and the non-optimal fundraising strategy carried out by zakat management institutions. On the other hand, there are still many people who distribute zakat directly to mustahik so that the potential for collecting zakat through institutions has not been maximized. Research Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation with informants consisting of management, fundraising team, and related parties at NU Care Lazisnu Ponorogo Regency. Results: The results of the study show that the fundraising strategy of NU Care Lazisnu Ponorogo has applied a segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and tactical planning approach through the NU Coin program, dawn alms, social activities, social media, bank transfer services, and the use of the Nahdlatul Ulama organizational network. The implementation of the strategy is supported by the strong structural network of Nahdlatul Ulama, high public trust, and the existence of sustainable social programs. However, there are still obstacles in the form of limited human resources, suboptimal digitalization of fundraising, low public understanding of zakat through institutions, and operational constraints in the field. Conclusion: The fundraising strategy implemented has a positive impact on increasing public awareness in paying zakat through official institutions, although its implementation still requires strengthening aspects of digital technology, program innovation, and human resource development.

Abstract

Introduction: Some business owners in Kampung Inggris Pare use BSI QRIS for accepting payments, but in practice, technical obstacles often arise that disrupt the smoothness of transactions. Research Methods: The study used a qualitative field approach with interviews, observations, and documentation of fifteen MSME owners and two BSI KCP Kediri Pare Supratman staff. Results: The results showed that the most frequently encountered obstacles were delays in payment notifications, funds not arriving in real time, and internet network disruptions. These obstacles impacted daily cash flow disruptions, long queues, and decreased user satisfaction with BSI QRIS services. BSI responded to these obstacles through customer service, merchant assistance, and education on application usage, although it was not able to eliminate all obstacles experienced by users in the field. Conclusion: BSI's QRIS system, using the Byond application, continues to experience technical issues that disrupt business continuity and user satisfaction. BSI's efforts to address these issues have not fully resolved them.
