Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that students were more active in learning mathematics, but the activity was not mandatory and the methods used by teachers dominated lecture methods, leading to boredom and it influenced students' learning outcomes. Therefore, The purpose of this study is to achieve positive learning activities and learning outcomes can be improved by applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of 29 students in her fourth grade from SDN Policy II Bogor City. The results of this study show a change in behaviour from 68% to 13% increase in Cycle I, an 81% increase in Cycle II, a skill increase from 68.4% to 11.6% in Cycle I, and an 80% increase in Cycle II increase. Cycle I learning outcomes increased by 41% and Cycle II by 38%. Therefore, The results of this study can be used as a reference for other researchers using Project-Based Learning to create innovative and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Quantum Teaching model. This type of research is conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of the research is teachers and students, the number of students is 16 people. The research data is obtained from observation and evaluation. Research procedures are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results from planning cycle I average value 80.5% qualification B, Cycle II average value 92% qualification A.Teacher aspects cycle I average value 83% qualification B, siklua II average value 100% qualification A.Student aspects of cycle I average value 83% qualification B, cycle II average 100% qualification A Learning outcomes cycle I average value 78.5% criterion C, cycle II average value 91% criteria A. It was concluded that the Quantum Teaching model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The writing scientific papers aims to analyze the application of the Speed Reading method in integrated thematic learning seen from the increase in student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This writing is based on the background of the low student learning outcomes in elementary schools because there are still many teachers who do not apply innovative learning models and the application of integrated thematic learning that has not been seen, teachers still use conventional teacher-centered learning models so that students are less active in the learning process. The Speed Reading method is one way to help students so that students can understand the reading text quickly. This scientific writing method uses literature studies (Library Research). By collecting 15 reputable journals with the topic, then analyzing the extent to which student learning outcomes have improved by applying the Speed Reading method. From the results of the data analysis, it shows that the Speed Reading method can improve student learning outcomes with varying amounts of improvement.

Abstract

Learning conditions in primary school (elementary) education especially Citizenship (Civics) learning is learning process in class IV shows the low active student involvement, students are rarely asked about the subject matter. In addition, students quickly feel tired and not concentrating on learning because the teacher is not following the approach can stimulate the activity of students. This happens constantly so that the learning outcomes of students who obtained low. For that researchers using Cooperative Learning Type Listening Team (LT) to improve student learning outcomes. This Research use Approach qualitative and is quantitative, while research type that is Research of Action Class PTK with research device cover, (1) planning, (2) execution, (3) perception, and (4) refleksi. Learning used is Cooperative Learning Approach Listening Study Team (LT) and consists of cycle I and cycle II. Student learning outcomes increased from an average of 76.99 to 85.09 at cycle II.   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran Pkn, listening team, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract                                         The purpose of this research was to know the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Think Pair Share (TPS) toward student learning outcomes in class V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. This type of research was quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research was students of grade V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. Sampling technique was nonprobability sampling with jenuh sampling type. The instrument used in this research was a test. Data analysis technique in the form of hypothesis test using t-test formula. Result of hypothesis test calculation at significance level 5% obtained thitung  > ttabel  that is 2,53> 2,00758 which means Ha accepted, that is there is significant influence model Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) to Student Learning Outcomes in Class V SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi City. Keywords: Think Pair Share, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is to find out. "The Effect of the Application of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Studies Learning in Class V of SD Negeri Gugus IV, Baso District, Agam Regency" This type of research is experimental research with experimental quasy design. The sample in this study were class V SDN Koto Gadang and SDN 12 Koto Tinggi. The results of the calculation of the research data which is the t-test obtained t count 13.8024> 1.68595 at the level of α 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes of students at social studies learning in class V SD Negeri Gugus IV, Baso District, Agam Regency.                                              Keywords:Jigsaw Cooperative, Student Learning Outcomes, IPS

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of discovery learning models on integrated themati c learning outcomes on theme 8 in class V in primary schools. This type of research is experimental research using a quantitative approach. The subject of the research was the Va class students and Vb class students with the number of students 38 students of SDN 23 Ujung Gurun, Padang Barat sub- district. the results showed that there was an influence on the use of the model. when administering an experimental class pretest with an average of 37.3 and a standard deviation of 28.97. while in the control class with an average value of 35 and a standard deviation of 26.73. after being given a posttest from the experimental class an average value of 84 with a standard deviation of 80.94 was obtained. while in the control class an average value of 69.2 was obtained with a standard deviation of 136.58.

Abstract

This study begins with low learning outcomes geometrical properties in the class IV SDN 13 Gunung Tuleh. This is because teachers are still predominantly use lecture method. And to deliver material geometrical properties needed for effective learning method and fun, so that students can understand the geometrical properties and not feel bored. Implementation of learning through Inkury method is by these steps: 1) the orientation phase, 2) the stage of formulating the problem, 3) the stage of formulating hypotheses, 4) stage of collecting data, 5) stage of formulating conclusions. Research purposes to describe the planning, implementation and learning outcomes attributes geometrical properties with the inquiry method in SDN 13 Class IV Gunung Tuleh Muara Kiawai district Pasaman Barat. This research is action research (class action research), this study used qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study includes (1) Planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) Refeleksi. This study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 13 Gunung Tuleh. The results showed that the method of inquiry to improve student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of the meeting I pointed assessment of the implementation plan learning percentage of 50% with less criteria, implementation of aspects of the teacher shows the percentage of 57% with less criteria, and implementation aspects of the percentage of students demonstrating less than 54% of the criteria. I Cycle II implementation plan meeting the learning criterion percentage of 68% with enough teachers with the implementation of aspects percentage of 71% with both criteria, and implementation aspects percentage of students with 71% of the criteria well. Cycle II implementation plan with a percentage of 85% learning criterion very well, the percentage of teachers with the implementation of aspects of the 92% criterion is very good, and the implementation of aspects of the percentage of students with an excellent 89% criteria. It can be concluded study geometrical properties using the inquiry method of learning outcomes increases. Kata kunci: peningkatan; hasil; belajar; metode; inkuiri;

Abstract

This research aims at improving students’ abilities to solve Mathematical Word Problems about LCM and GCD by using the Polya Strategy at Class IV of SD Dian Andalas, Padang. This Class action research applied both qualitative an quantitative approaches. The subject were the teacher as an observer, the researcher as a practitionaire, and the students of the class. The research result shows some improvements. In term of lesson plans, the score increased from 76.79% in cycle I to 92.86 in cycle II. In term of teacher’s aspect, the score enhanced from 75% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the student’s aspect, the score increased from 65.63% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Finally, the student’s learning outcomes enhanced from 76.18 in cycle I to 85.23 in cycle II.

Abstract

Elementary schools in the city of Padang both public and private have facilities and infrastructure that support but from the observation shown that the use of the technological infrastructure has not been optimized. This research aims to produce GeoGebra-based learning media in Grade V Elementary School that is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is Research and Development Research with ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) model. Data analysis techniques used are; validity, practicality, and effectiveness data analysis. Validation instrument of Learning media is in the form of validation by 3 experts, namely media experts, linguists and experts on media-related materials produced. Media practicality instruments in the form of teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires related to the developed media. Effectiveness instruments in the form of learning evaluation questions given to learners to determine whether the media used is effective. Based on the analysis that has been done, GeoGebra-Based Learning media developed with ADDIE model is valid, practical and effective use in elementary school in learning mathematics material volume of space and the relationship of the cube to the cube root
