Abstract

The Purpose of this research was to estabiish the effect of Discovery Learning toward students’ achievement in the operation mixed count at the fourth of Elementary School. The method of this researah was Quasi Experiment by Non Equivalent control group design. The sample in this research was the students’ at the fourth grade of SDN 11 Pudung and the students’ at the fourth grade of SDN 18 Pudung. The instrumentation was used the test. Hypothesis testing in this research was used the formula of t-tes and N-Gain. Based on the resuit of this research was shown that the mean class of Discovery Learning were 80 and control class were 78. Based on the calculated of t-test were 2,40146109 was highere that t-tabel were 1,86385. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to description skill enhancement in change poetry into prose form by used somatic, autiotori, visual, and intellectual (SAVI) model to VI grade elementary school. The research type is PTK by used quality and quantity approach. This research was implemented in SDN 35 Padang City with total 20 students which consist of 9 male student and 11 female student. The score of changing poerty into prose in each pre writing phase in cycle I 76,87 (B), increase in cycle II 90,6 (SB), writing phase in cycle I 68,75 (C) increase in cycle II 90,4 (SB), and on post writing phase cycle I 71,2 (C) increase in cycle II 89,6 (SB).  Keywords: Increased, enhancement in change poetry into prose,SAVI model.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes of waking characteristics with NHT type cooperative learning model which planning, implementation and learning outcomes. This Research type is research of class action. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri No 30 Pasar Lakitan yang berjumlah 20 orang. The results of the reseach are a) Assessment Of RPP Cycle of I 64,26%, mount to become 94,65% cycle of II, b) assessment of activity learn at cycle of I 73,61%, mean assess 95,83% cycle of II, c) assessment of student activity cycle of I 63,86%, mounting to become 91,67% cycle of II, ( d) assessment of result learn cycle student of I at cognate aspect, afektif, and psikomotor obtained by mean assess 65,20%, mounting to become 86,15% cycle of II. Thereby , model Cooperative Learning type of Numbered Head Together can improve result learn the nature of geometry in class of IV SD Country of No. 30 Pasar Lakitan.Keyword : Learn of Result , Geometry, NHT

Abstract

This study aims to produce an interactive multimedia Articulate Storyline 3 (PBL) based on science learning in grade IV elementary schools that is valid, practical and also effective. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model which has five steps, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed learning media was validated by the validator and the practicality of the product was tested by filling out the teacher's and student's response questionnaires. The results of the science learning media research obtained a very valid category with a validity level of 90% for the media aspect, 84% for the material aspect, and 90% for the language aspect. The results of teacher and student responses in research schools show that the use of interactive multimedia Articulate Storyline 3 is very practical with a percentage of teacher responses of 98% and 97.8% of students. The results of the effectiveness of learning media show very effective results with an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes of 86.08% and 92% completeness. It can be concluded that Articulate Storyline 3-based interactive multimedia (PBL) in science learning in class IV elementary school has been declared valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan model Pendekatan Scientific pada siswa kelas II SD Kartika 1-12 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas dan 20 siswa kelas II SD Kartika 1-12 Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada,  RPP siklus I 65,25% (C) dan siklus II 88,55% (B), Pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I 66% (C) dan siklus II 91,3% (AB), Penilaian aspek siswa pada siklus I 65,8 (C) dan siklus II 90% (AB). Penilaian terhadap proses belajar siklus I 2,40 (B) dan siklus II 3,42(AB)   Kata Kunci : Tematik Terpadu, Pendekatan Scientific.

Abstract

This reseach aims at finding out a significant difference of students cognitive learning outcomes of Natural Science subject between the Contextual and Conventional Learning. This quasi experiment applied the two group post-test only design. The samples were students of class VA and VB of SDN 09 Belakang Balok, Bukittinggi. 30 students of class VA acted as the experimental class, which was taught using the contextual learning. Meanwhile, 30 students of class VB acted as the control class that was taught using the conventional learning. They were selected using the simple random sampling technique. Based on the t-test of the students post-test scores, it was found that tcount 4,74> ttable 1,67155 α 0,05. It means the contextual learning isi better compared to the conventional one.Keywords: the contextual learning, the conventional learning, students cognitive learning outcomes of natural science subject.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the skills improvement of the sixth grade students at SDN 10 Bandar Buat Padang  in changing poetry into the prose, the stages are  pre-writing, writing, and post-writing. This type of research is a classroom action research that used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of this study indicate that the skill of turning poetry into prose has increased by 10,2%, which was obtained from the average value of the cycle I which is 79,1, increasing in the cycle II to 8,3. Based on these results, it can be concluded that using a contextual approach to the skill of changing poetry into prose of sixth grade elementary school students had increased.Keywords: Writing, Changing Poetry to Prose, Contextual

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' speaking skills with a strategy of describing in class V SDN 09 Air Tawar, Padang City. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using a qualitative approach. This research was carried out at SDN 09 Air Tawar, Padang City with a total of 27 students consisting of 11 male students and 16 female students. The observations of the learning design in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 90.67% increasing in the second cycle to 96.87%. Then the results of observations on the activities of teachers in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 75% increased in the second cycle to 89.28%. Furthermore, the results of observations on the activities of students in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of success of 78.57% and increased in the second cycle to 92.85%. Keywords: speaking skills, strategies to describe

Abstract

The study aims to design and determine the feasibility level of an interactive multimedia software-assisted Adobe Flash CS6 for elementary School students grade V. This type of research is research and development with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method Luther-Sutopo version model through six stages, namely concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. Based on the stage of the development method, the result is an interactive CD in the theme of 9 subtheme 3 Learning 1, 2, and 5 with a percentage of 84.44% that meets valid criteria or deserves to be used as an interactive multimedia for students of the V grade Elementary School.

Abstract

Learning Implementation Plan first cycle with an average of 84% (very good), cycle II with an average of 96% (very good). The observations of teacher activity in the first cycle at an average of 81% (very good), the second cycle is obtained average 92% (very good).
