Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the quality of item final examination semester test on the informatics subjects of the Class X at SMKN 8 Jember in the 2022/2023 academic year by reviewing the aspects of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, power differentiator, and the effectiveness of the detractors. The type of research approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, with a descriptive research design. The population in this study was all Class X students who took informatics lessons at SMKN 8 Jember in the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 560 people. So the research sample consists of the entire existing population. Interviews and documentation studies are some of the techniques used in collecting data. The data taken in the form of final semester exam test documents consisting of student answer sheets, exam questions, and the answer keys. The data was analyzed by reviewing aspects of validity, reliability, power differentiator, level of difficulty, and the effectiveness of the detractors using the help of Anates Version 4.09 software which can be used to determine the quality of each item. The results of this study indicate that: (1) 3 items (12%) in the sufficient category, (2) 11 items (44%) in the good category, these items must be revised first so that they can be reused, (3) 11 items (44%) in the very good category, the items in this category do not need to be revised.

Abstract

This research goals is: (1) Develop jobsheets for the network infrastructure administration subject at SMK Negeri 1 Ngawi; and (2) assess the feasibility of the jobsheets for the network infrastructure administration subject at SMK Negeri 1 Ngawi. This is a Research & Development (R&D) implementing the ADDIE model, with several steps such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The outcome product is jobsheets as learning media for the Network Infrastructure Administration subject. The research targets 11th-grade students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Ngawi. The product will be evaluate and assessed by validators in both material content and media, who are lecturers from the Department of Electronic and Informatics Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (UNY). Additionally, it will be assessed through questionnaires filled out by students. The results of this research showing that: (1) The developed product, which is jobsheets as learning media, categorized as feasible with an very good assessment from both material content and media validators; (2) Overall aspects in the development of jobsheets as learning media have achieved a very high level and are categorized as "very good".

Abstract

In today's digital era, information technology and mobile applications have become an integral part of everyday life, including in the field of education. However, the use of this technology often faces various problems, such as integration with other systems, as well as inadequate User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX), causing discomfort and confusion for users, especially students. Therefore, this study aims to (1) create UI and UX prototypes that can improve students' experience in accessing academic information through a one-stop-service model, and (2) evaluate the feasibility of these prototypes. This research uses the Research and Development method with a User-Centered Design approach according to ISO 9421-210 standards, including analysis of usage context, user needs analysis, design solution development, and evaluation of design solutions based on effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. The results of this study include the interface design and User Experience of the UNYOne application as an academic and student service one-stop-service at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Evaluation of UNYOne showed an effectiveness rate of 98%, an efficiency rate of 93.1%, and a user satisfaction rate of 91.1%, with a usability rate of 94.06%, indicating that UNYOne has excellent quality in meeting user needs and satisfaction

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven many businesses to utilize e-commerce systems in marketing their products. This research focuses on the design and implementation of a website-based e-commerce system to support the sale of antique items at Renvin Antique Gallery. The aim is to reach a wider market and enhance the online shopping experience for customers. A Research and Development (R&D) approach is adopted with stages including needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The research subjects involve the store owner and customers, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and questionnaire distribution. The research instrument utilizes the WebQual 4.0 model, which has been tested for validity and reliability, with data analysis using descriptive statistical methods aided by SPSS. The end result of this research is a web-based e-commerce system equipped with product catalog, shopping cart, checkout process, and PayPal payment integration features. Based on testing with WebQual 4.0, the system scores an average of 4.28 or 85.6%, which falls into the highly feasible category. The research concludes that the developed e-commerce system is able to meet user needs and provide a good online shopping experience. Suggestions for further development include regular optimization and updating of website content, more active promotion and marketing strategies, as well as periodic evaluations based on user feedback.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) develop a web-based student registry information system to manage student data at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah, and (2), to conduct quality testing of the developed system using ISO 25010 standards related to functional suitability and usability. This research was conduct at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method, the waterfall model for the development process and descriptive quantitative for data analysis. The waterfall model consists of five stages, the requirements analysis stage produces a list of system functional requirements and device requirements. The system design stage produces architecture design, database design, and user interface design. The implementation and unit testing stage yield system development using the CodeIgniter framework, with each unit being tested. The integration stage produces a system ready for use, and the system testing stage using the ISO 25010 standards, focusing on functional suitability aspect evaluated by 2 expert and usability aspect evaluated by 15 respondents. The operation and maintenance stage involves delivering the system to SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. This research resulted in a web-based student registry information system used for managing student data at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. The functional suitability testing yielded a 100% score, indicating it is highly suitable. Usability testing resulted in a score of 71,5, which places the system in the “Good” category, suggesting that users may need some learning to utilize it effectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the activity and motivation of students in class X TKJ B SMK Negeri 1 Pundong through the application of game-based learning in the subject of Fundamentals of Computer Network Engineering and Telecommunication. The type of research carried out is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study are 36 students in class X TKJ B SMK Negeri 1 Pundong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis.The results of this study show that the application of game-based learning carried out using the Quizizz and Kahoot! can increase learning activity and cannot increase the learning motivation of students in class X TKJ B SMK Negeri 1 Pundong in the subject of Fundamentals of Computer Network Engineering and Telecommunications. This can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of learning activity from the first cycle by 45%, in the second cycle it increased to 69%. The average percentage of learning motivation in cycle I learning motivation in cycle I was 79%, in cycle II it was 79%. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share learning method in improving student learning outcomes in the fundamental computer networking subject at SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman. Initial observations revealed challenges in maintaining student interest and active participation, prompting the testing of the Think Pair Share method as a potential solution. Using a quantitative approach, this research involved 72 10th-grade students from the network and application department, divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected through observations, documentation, and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed a significant difference between the Think Pair Share method and conventional learning, with average learning outcomes of 83.28 for the experimental class and 79.11 for the control class. Statistical analysis yielded a t-count value of 2.251 > t-table 2.032, confirming the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share method in improving student learning outcomes in this subject.

Abstract

The use of smartphones as a learning medium is still minimal. Thus, there is a big opportunity to use smartphones as an interactive learning medium. This research aims to; (1) Produce interactive learning media that is suitable for use in respiratory system material; (2) Providing practical learning media. This research is in the form of Research & Development (R&D) with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model with the stages of conceptualizing, designing, collecting materials, manufacturing, testing and distribution. The feasibility testing instrument is in the form of a questionnaire filled out by technical experts and students as final consumers. For testing, the instrument validity test was carried out using the product moment correlation technique, while the instrument reliability test was carried out using the Cronbach alpha technique. The result of this research is interactive learning media in the form of an Android application titled Kinerfa, which utilizes augmented reality technology. After alpha testing, the product was tested by students at SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara. The final test results show the product feasibility level with a percentage of 68.5% so that the product can be declared "feasible".

Abstract

The development of a web-based library information system in Kampung Emas Krapyak IX aims to manage data on book collections, members, and book lending and return transactions with an information system that ensures its quality in accordance with ISO/IEC 25010 standards in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, and reliability. The research method used is Research and Development and the development model follows the Waterfall model. Research instruments for assessing functional suitability use a checklist questionnaire. Performance efficiency is tested using GTMetrix. Usability assessment employs the USE Questionnaire by Arnold M. Lund, and reliability testing uses WAPT 10.1. The research results indicate that the developed system has met the requirements as an information system capable of addressing data management challenges. Furthermore, the developed system has also fulfilled the criteria for functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, and reliability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the analysis of multiple choice questions on the End of Gasal Semester Assessment in the subject of Network Service Technology class XI and XII majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Salam in the 2022/2023 school year. This research uses documentation type data collection techniques. The data taken to support the research process are student exam question sheets, answer keys to question sheets, student answer sheets, syllabus, exam grids. Before entering the item analysis test stage, the data will first be tested for validity by expert lecturers. Expert lecturers assess evaluation instruments based on material, construction and language aspects. After completion, the next is the process of analyzing the items with the aim of obtaining the value of the aspects of item validity, reliability, effectiveness of triggers, differentiating power and the level of difficulty of a test. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research where the subjects are 30 students of class XI TKJ and 37 students of class XII TKJ. The results of this study are addressed by 4 items (16%) with good quality, 5 items (20%) of sufficient quality, 8 items (32%) categorized as not good, and 8 items (32%) categorized as very bad for class XI TKJ questions. Meanwhile, class XII TKJ questions have the results of 4 items (16%) of good quality, 7 items (28%) of sufficient quality, 8 items (32%) categorized as not good and 6 items (24%) categorized as very bad.
