Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakanmetode survey. Subyek penelitian adalah para mahasiswa Pendidikan TeknikOtomotif Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Teknik penentuan sampelmenggunakan nomogram Harry A. King sehingga diperoleh sampel berjumlah 75mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan random sampling. Penelitian inibertujuan mendeskripsikan Tingkat Efektivitas Pemanfaatan Bimbingan Akademiksebagai langkah perbaikan karakter mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik OtomotifUniversitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. Berdasarkan analisis data, mahasiswayang memanfaatkan bimbingan pribadi kategori tinggi berjumlah 5 mahasiswa(5,8%), kategori sedang berjumlah 38 mahasiswa (44,7%) dan kategori rendahberjumlah 42 mahasiswa (49%). Mahasiswa yang memanfaatkan bimbinganbelajar kategori tinggi berjumlah 7 mahasiswa (8,3%), kategori sedangberjumlah 32 mahasiswa (36,5%) dan kategori rendah berjumlah 47 mahasiswa(55,3%). Mahasiswa yang memanfaatkan bimbingan sosial kategori tinggiberjumlah 10 mahasiswa (11,6%), kategori sedang berjumlah 29 mahasiswa(34,3%) dan kategori rendah berjumlah 46 mahasiswa (54,1%). Mahasiswa yangmemanfaatkan bimbingan karir kategori tinggi berjumlah 5 mahasiswa (5,8%),kategori sedang berjumlah 36 mahasiswa (30,6%) dan kategori rendah berjumlah44 mahasiswa (51,6%). Secara total pemanfaatan bimbingan akademikmahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejoyang memanfaatkan bimbingan dengan kategori tinggi berjumlah 10 mahasiswa(11,7%), kategori sedang berjumlah 30 (35,4%) dan kategori rendah 45mahasiswa (52,9%).

Abstract

Abstract: this research introduced a new teaching strategy that is ChildrenLearning in Science (CLIS) in learning English as foreign language, especially inthe students’ writing. CLIS provides logical subject of theory, facts, problemsolving, and application by doing an experiment. By learning through science,students can explore their scientific skill in finding the answer of a realisticproblem happened. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research(CAR) that had been conducted into two cycles. The analysis copes with theteacher and students’ activities in the process of teaching learning and thestudents’ respond. The research method used is descriptive with research designof qualitative. The population of the research is the tenth grade students of MAN 2Madiun which has 192 students in all. The result of research shows an increasingresult on the teacher and students’ activities as well as students’ affective andcognitive score that supported with students’ responses toward CLIS.

Abstract

Penelitian survey ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja pemasaran pendidikan nonformal. Penelitianini dilakukan didasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa penyelenggaraan kegiatan pemasaran perlu dilakukansecara integratif dengan mekanisme yang terarah, efektif, efesien, dan akuntabel. Subyek penelitian iniadalah Lembaga Penyelenggara Kursus (LPK) yang ditentukan secara purposive. Pengumpulan datamenggunakan angket tervalidasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pemasaran program PNF belum optimal dimana masihterdapat aspek pemasaran yang dalam kategori rendah yaitu kegiatan penyampaian program danpenetapan harga atau dana. Hal ini akibat pengaruh dari kendala yang dihadapi baik internal lembagaseperti warga belajar kurang aktif dan perubahan kurikulum maupun eksternal lembaga sepertikejenuhan cakupan, kerja sama yang minim dan minimnya pendanaan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatankemampuan lembaga pendidikan nonformal (LPK) dapat membaca dan mengembangkan programmasing-masing yang terbekali.

Abstract

Abstract: Character education becomes the serious notice to be implemented inschools. The phenomenon shows that a lot of society moans about the reduction ofpoliteness, ethic, and students‟ creativity which are caused by weakness of cultureand nation character education. As the first step, the character education must beginearly, that is in the primary level. In the primary level, its portion achieves 60 % if itis compared to the other levels education. The culture and nation characters educationmust be practiced and emphasized not on its theory. The culture and nation characterseducation can be implemented in hidden curriculum. Therefore, it is needed somebooks to the characters education implementation in education institutions, fromprimary schools up to university levels. It is also needed the socialization of granddesign of characters education.

Abstract:In the history of Moslem education, the history of Islamic Schools development will always beatractive to be analized critically. The study is being urgent because it is expected that theIslamic schools will have some roles in the Moslem education development objectively andcomprehensively. It is regarded as the important one because in every phase of Islamic schools’development is always found some efforts to be better, the innovation, and other improvements.Islamic school is one of the Islamic isntitutions of education in Indonesia. The islamic schoolhas long cronology on its development. Since it is formed until now, there are someimprovements which are trasforming the Islamic education institutions to be qualified which aresupported by the Moslem reformers. The lack of the awareness of the Moslem educationimportance in Indonesia in the beginning of Islamic schools’ development is felt by the Moslemdoers of education. That is why, the Islamic schools should be forceful.

Abstract: Misconceptionis a notion which is contradictory with the scientific one or the idea claimed by expertsin a certain Field; the notion is inaccurateup on a concept, the concept use is false, it sex emplification sare wrong, the different concept sare confusing, and the hierarchi calrelation of the concepts is wrong. Therefore, information about misconception is required so as to avoid a continuous misconception. One of the factors which affect the mastery of concept by the students deals with their cognitive style. The objective of this research is to identify and describe the existence of misconception in the subject matter of Basic Introduction to Mathematics with the topic of discussion of Logics viewed from the students’ cognitive style. This research used a descriptive qualitative methodwith a casestudyapproach. The subjects of theresearchwerethefirst semester students of the Study Program of Mathematics Education of STKIP PGRI Pacitan, Year 2011. The samples of theresearchweretakenbyusingthepurposive sampling technique. The identification of theexistence of misconceptionwasdonebyusingtheCertainty of ResponseIndex (CRI) developedbySaleem Hasan, andtheidentification of thestudents’ cognitivestylewasconductedbyusingtheinstrument of Group EmbeddedFigures Test (GEFT) developedbyWitkin. The data of theresearchwereanalyzedbyusingthe model claimedbyMilesandHuberman. The results of theresearchshowthattheproportion of misconceptionbythestudentswiththecognitivestyle of Fielddependent (FD) ishigherthanthat of studentswiththecognitivestyle of Fieldindependent (FI). The studentswith FD undergomoremisconceptionsininversion, conversion, andcontraposition (38%) whereasthestudentswith FI undergomoremisconceptionsin plural statementnegationsandinnegationswithquantifiers (32%). The misconceptionsbythestudentswith FD arelargelycausedbytheirwrongpre-conceptionandlowability. Meanwhile, themisconceptionsbythestudentswith FI aremostlyduetotheirwrongsimplificationandintuition.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kajian kepustakaan (library research) artinya data penelitian berasal dari sumber-sumber kepustakaan berupa buku-buku, makalah, jurnal, majalah dan sumber lain yang koheren dengan obyek bahasan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-analitik, yakni berusahamenggambarkan secara jelas dan sistematis obyek kajian, lalu menganalisisbahasan penelitian. Data yang terkumpul atau tersusun dianalisis, kemudianditarik sebuah kesimpulan. Setidaknya, ada empat temuan penelitian, yaitu: 1)pendidikan di Taman Siswa menerapkan prinsip kemerdekaan dan kebebasan; 2)pendidikan anak yang diterapkan adalah gabungan dan pengembangan dari teoriFrobel dan Montessori; 3) Ki Hadjar Dewantara memberi kebebasan kepada anakdengan berbagai permainan untuk mengembangkan secara psikologi, pedagogidan biologi dengan tidak melupakan alam kodratnya masing-masing; 4)penerapan pendidikan yang terintegrasi antara ketiga alam, yaitu alam keluarga,alam pendidikan, dan alam pemuda akan mewujudkan manusia Indonesia yangutuh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan. Subjek tindakan adalah siswa di kelas tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus dua kali tatap muka melalui tahapan refleksi awal, perencanaan, pelaksanaan/pemantauan, dan refleksi/evaluasi. Data penelitian berupa deskripsi hasil observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi proses dan hasil belajar siswa. Masalah yang dirumuskan bagaimanakah peningkatan kemampuan menulis kreatif melalui model pembelajaran menulis “Puisi-Formula”. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis kreatif puisi melalui model pembelajara menulis “Puisi-Formula”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran menulis puisi-formula kemampuan siswa menulis kreatif puisi meningkat. Model yang digunakan dapat memberikan kemudahan, keterbukaan, dan kebermaknaan siswa dalam belajar menulis kreatif puisi. Model pembelajaran ini dapat diterapkan bagi kelas atau sekolah lain yang setting siswanya sama oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia dan peneliti lain yang ingin melakukan penelitian serupa atau lanjutan.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to know the difference of influlence in learning models, creativity, andits interaction toward student’s learning achievement on the subject matter: equations ofa straight line. This research is a quasi experimental research with factorial design of3x3. The population is eight grade students of Junior high School in Madiun. The samplesare taken using stratified cluster random technic. Sample of the research is 283 students.The collecting data instruments is a questionnaire on creativity and learning mathematicsachievement test. The trial test of instrument of the questionnaire includes the contentvalidity, the internal consistency, and realibility. The trial test on the achievement oflearning on mathematics includes the content validity, the difficulty level, thediscrimination power, and realibility coefficient. The Data analysis technique usedconsists of: balance, precondition analysis (Normality and Homogenity). Hypothesisanalysis test uses two-ways variant analysis with different cells.The results of the research are: (1) The students who are learning withcooperative model of STAD have better achievement than the students who are givenconventional learning, and the students who are given cooperative model of STAD havethe same achievement with the students who are given cooperative model of TPS; (2) Thestudents with high creativity have better achievement than the students who have lowercreativity (middle and low), the students with middle creativity have the sameachievement with the students who have low creativity, (3) On students with highcreativity, implementation learning models of STAD, TPS, and conventional give thesame effect; On students with middle creativity, implementation of cooperative learningwith STAD model gives the same effect as good as the TPS model, implementation ofcooperative learning with STAD models provides a better effect than conventionallearning, and implementation of cooperative learning with TPS model gives a bettereffect than conventional learning; On students with low creativity, implementation ofcooperative learning with STAD and TPS models give the same effect, implementation ofcooperative learning with STAD model and conventional learning also provide the sameeffect, and implementation of cooperative learning with TPS model gives a better effectthan conventional learning.
