Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of corporal sources in aneffort to improve the quality of history teaching in senior high schools inAcademic Year 2010/20011 Surakarta. This study uses classroom action researchconducted through two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages: planning,execution, observation, and refkeksi. This classroom action research aims toimprove the quality of learning history by empowering source of corporal.Subjects were students IPS XI-3 SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta city. Data collectiontechniques and tools used in this study was observational techniques,questionnaires and tests. The results showed that by empowering source ofcorporal to improve the quality of learning history. This is evidenced by the moreactive students in learning and increasing student achievement. In the first cyclestudents' mastery of 70% with an average rating of 68.47, whereas on the secondcycle peningakatan reached 90% with an average rating of 78.05.

Abstract

Kajian ini pada intinya menghadirkan sebuah eksplorasi tentangFundamentalisme Islam yang mencoba memotret akar sejarah gerakanfundamentalisme, periodesasi, ajaran, sampai pada fenomemanya di Indonesia.Pada bagian awal akan diberbincangkan seputar perbedaan dalam penggunaanterm fundamentalisme Islam yang ditujukan kepada gerakan kebangkitan Islam.Kemudian lebih jauh akan mendrive beberapa analisa yang berusahamenjembatani berbagai pertanyaan yang muncul dalam iklim akademik sepertibagaimana gerakan fundamentalisme muncul pertama kali dalam Islam.Bagaiman periodesasinya, apa yang menjadi doktrin dari gerakanfundamentalisme. Hasil kajian ini ditemukan bahwa fundamentalisme Islam diIndonesia tidak begitu saja berjalan mulus dalam perjalanannya. Perlawananyang cukup inten dilakukan oleh kalangan intelektual Islam moderat, sebut sajaJaringan Islam Liberal, ormas Nahdatul Ulama, ormas Muhammadiyah dankalangan yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemajemukan.

Abstract

Abstrak: ditengah masyarakat yang cenderung primordialistis ini, programpendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi haruslah memuat usaha untuk membantupara mahasiswa melihat kenyataan secara kritis. Program itu, tentu saja, harusdidukung dengan menciptakan kejujuran dan persaudaraan di lingkunganperguruan tinggi. Pengembangan Karakter di Perguruan Tinggi mencakup pilarTri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, yakni Pendidikan yang mencakup kegiatanpembelajaran penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, serta pengembanganbudaya pendidikan tinggi yang tercermin dalam kegiatan keseharian dalamberbagai bentuk perilaku keseharian di kelas, laboratorium, lapangan olah raga,studio, dan masyarakat. Pembentukan karakter SDM yang kuat sangat diperlukanuntuk menghadapi tantangan global yang lebih berat.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswamenggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 25orang siswa kelas VII MTS Muhammadiyah Nawangan tahun akademik 2008/2009. Observasidilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang aktivitas siswa dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran.Sedangkan prestasi siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes. Hasil analisis data disajikan dalambentuk perhitungan persentase dan rata-rata nilai. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Aktivitasbelajar siswa pada Siklus I 32 %, Siklus II 60%, Siklus III 100%; 2) Aktivitas mengajar guru jugamenunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari setiap siklus, 3) Prestasi belajar siswa juga mengalamipeningkatan, dari Siklus I 5,96, Siklus II 6,68, dan Siklus III 7,76. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwapenggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasibelajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, termasuk dalam kategoripenelitian kepustakaan (library research). Pengumpulan data didasarkan padadata primer dan data skunder yang dilakukan dengan cara membaca, menelaah,meneliti dan mengumpulkan buku-buku yang berisi teori, pendapat ataupandangan para pakar yang terkait. Analisis data dilakukan denganmenggunakan teknik deskriptif-analitik, metode penalaran dan metodekomparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) kekerasan (dehumanisasi) dalampendidikan muncul akibat adanya pelanggaran yang disertai dengan hukuman,terutama fisik; 2) kekerasan dalam pendidikan bisa diakibatkan oleh buruknyasistem dan kebijakan pendidikan yang berlaku; 3) kekerasan dalam pendidikandipengaruhi oleh lingkungan masyarakat dan tayangan media; 4) kekerasandibidang pendidikan juga merupakan refleksi dari perkembangan kehidupanmasyarakat yang mengalami pergeseran cepat, sehingga meniscayakan timbulnyasikap instant solution, maupun jalan pintas; 5) tingginya jurang perbedaan latarbelakang sosial-ekonomi, juga menjadi penentu dalam praktik kekerasandibidang pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract: government through the National Education Department hasdetermined new policies in the education sectors such as; the act of NationalEducation System(UU Sisdiknas), PP or Government Regulation, Permen orministerial regulation, Kepmen or ministerial decree, policy of pioneering effortof international level school (RSBI), policy of International Level Schools (SBI),immersive schools policy, accelerative schools policy, bilingualism, policy of thechange of education curriculum from year to year, determining the incorporate ofeducation institutions, increasing the quality of SDM ( Peoples resources), and theoperational aid to the education institutions, and so on. All of the efforts have apurpose to increase the national education quality to achieve the nationaleducation aim. The result of the research shows that SBI or International LevelSchool regulation in official of education at Pacitan Regency is only following thepolicy of provide government, and the national government. There is noproponent regulation which is more operational and relevant with the localschools needs.

Abstract

This article is about a study explaining: 1) The elements of the childrenpoentry that could be use as the media for disaster’s mitigation; 2) compabilityand the accuracy of the child’s poentry for its prospective reader based on thecognitive development stage of the children; and formulated utilization planningof the children poentry to the disaster mitigation in Indonesian and literaturelearning. The children poentry studied are fiveten take in Bobo children magazine.The children poentry was taken through the purposive technique sampling. Thedata was analyzing by content analysis. The validity of the data was testedthrough the semantics validity and the reliability was tested by reading the textrepeatedly. The results of studied showed that: 1) The element that had thepotential to use as the planning media for the mitigation of disaster were thetheme, message, and sound; 2) Based on the use of the point of view, the writingtechnique (the language) and the explanation of the problem, the poentry exact tobe give to children age 8-12 years; and 3) the disaster mitigation efforts could becarried out by understanding the contents of the text, gave the response to theproblem of the disaster and the control as well as its prevention, or wrote thephenomenon of the natural or social disaster.

Abstract

Abstract: this research has a purpose to plan and apply the evaluation of EKOP model inintegrated teaching of Connected model to increase the teaching quality of the South AsiaHistory 2 lecture at the Historical Program of FKIP UNS. The subjects of the research are thestudents who study the South Asia History 2 lecture at the even semester in 2009/2010Academic Year. The research is done by using the classroom action research method (PTK).The technique and equipment which are used to get the data in the research are thequestionnaire technique, observation, and interview. The result of the research shows that theapplication of EKOP model evaluation in the integrated teaching of connected model canincrease the teaching quality of South Asia History 2 lecture. It is shown by the scores averageof teaching quality components at numbers 3.4 – 4.1 which are categorized as good in the firstcycle and the second cycle. The total scores average are categorized as good on the numbers3.51 at the first cycle and 3.57 at the second cycle.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to uncover the existence of the oral elements in the novelDi Kaki Bukit Cibalak by Ahmad Tohari. It is necessary to construct the convention of oraltheories that propounded by Walter J. Ong. This convention shows that there are severaloral elements in the novel. The oral element in the novel Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak there areagonistic, homeostatic, conservative, copious, episodic, additive, and moral teachings.
