Abstract

Slokantara is one of the Old Javanese literary works that reflects the wisdom and moral values of Javanese culture, serving as an important source of ethical and philosophical teachings. This text contains guidance on the principles of human behavior, morality, and social harmony, which remain relevant for contemporary society. The study of Slokantara reveals that the source of moral teachings within the text is derived from a synthesis of Hindu-Buddhist ethical concepts, local wisdom, and the cultural values of the Javanese community. These teachings emphasize virtues such as self-control, respect for others, honesty, harmony with nature, and devotion to spiritual life. Furthermore, the didactic messages in Slokantara aim to shape individual character while also maintaining balance within society. By analyzing the structure, content, and context of Slokantara, this research highlights its role as a foundation of ethical education and cultural preservation. Therefore, the text not only enriches the literary heritage of Indonesia but also provides moral guidance that can be applied in the modern era, especially in strengthening character education and cultural identity.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect in shaping a generation with noble morals. In Hinduism, Tri Kaya Parisudha, the purity of thought, speech, and action, serves as a relevant moral guideline. This study aims to comparatively analyze the implementation of Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in schools and families. The method used was qualitative with a literature review, in-depth interviews, and participant observation. The results show that the implementation of Tri Kaya Parisudha in schools is more structured through the curriculum and extracurricular activities, while in families it is more through role models and habits. The main supporting factor is the synergy between teachers and parents, while the main obstacle is the lack of in-depth understanding outside the ritual context. It is concluded that collaboration between schools and families is crucial to ensure consistent character formation based on Tri Kaya Parisudha.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sulangai masih tergolong rendah akibat pembelajaran yang didominasi metode ceramah, kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif, serta belum mengaitkan materi dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, diperlukan penerapan model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sulangai melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 21 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sulangai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan observasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 68,10 pada siklus I menjadi 80,71 pada siklus II, serta peningkatan persentase ketuntasan belajar dari 61,90% menjadi 85,71%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share dengan pendekatan kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sulangai.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a varied learning model that focuses on strengthening students’ intracurricular activities with greater time allocation, enabling maximum competency development. The problems discussed in this research are: 1) What is the essence of the obstacles and efforts of the Independent Learning Curriculum in Project-based learning at SD Insan Selamat School?; 2) How does the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum meet teacher benchmarks in designing and implementing project-based learning at the Insan Selamat Denpasar Elementary School?; 3) How does the Independent Learning Curriculum impact at the Insan Selamat Denpasar Elementary School contribute to teacher competence in providing project-based learning? This research aims to describe the impact of the Independent Learning Curriculum on Teacher Competence in Project-Based Learning at the Insan Selamat Elementary School, Denpasar. The theories used in this study are hermeneutics, constructivism, and convergence. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. Data verification techniques used triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The obstacles faced included limited time, differences in student enthusiasm and learning speed, and team collaboration issues. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles included designing a flexible schedule, implementing differentiated learning, grouping students, and assigning clear assignments. 2) The implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Insan Prestasi School Elementary School yielded positive results in designing and implementing project-based learning. 3) The impacts of the Independent Curriculum include positive impacts, such as active student involvement in the learning process, as well as negative impacts, such as complex time management for teachers, differences in student discipline, and responsibilities for group assignments. Abstract

The ecoprint tote bag making training activity using the pounding technique aims to raise environmental awareness and creativity among sixth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Sebatu through hands-on practice using natural materials. The main issues raised are the students' low understanding of ecoprint techniques and the lack of integration of environmental conservation education into learning, as well as the lack of integration of environmental conservation values into learning in elementary schools. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach through the stages of preparation, socialization, demonstration, practice, and evaluation, involving 19 students and 1 accompanying teacher. The pounding technique was chosen because it is simple, environmentally friendly, does not require special tools, and can produce results immediately. The research results showed that students were highly enthusiastic and able to produce ecoprint tote bags with diverse patterns according to their creativity. The evaluation also revealed an increase in students' creativity, with varied and aesthetically valuable works. Students found the activity enjoyable and easy to understand, though technical challenges such as time constraints, pounding skills, and leaf pigment variations were noted. The conclusion of this study is that the application of ecoprinting using the pounding technique has proven effective in enhancing environmental awareness, fine motor skills, and students' appreciation of the potential of the natural environment. Recommendations for further research include extending the training duration, diversifying ecoprinting techniques, and integrating this activity with cultural arts subjects to strengthen a contextual learning approach.
