Abstract

Abstract Hindu religious education should be carried out through religious ceremonies containing Hindu religious teachings to the younger generation, of course, non-formal education plays an important role in providing knowledge about divinity and moral values. As was done by the Hindu community in Walsekat Village, Fena Leisela District, Buru Regency, Maluku Province, where Hindu religious education was delivered through the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony. The issues to be discussed include (1) The form of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony in Walsekat Village, (2) The function of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony in Walsekat Village, (3) What Hindu religious educational values are contained in the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony in the Village? walsek. The theory used to analyze the problem is the structural-functional theory from Damar, the religious theory from Artadi, and the value theory from Yusnan. Data collection methods used are non-participant observation, unstructured interviews, documentation and libraries. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method with reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study showed (1) The form of implementation of the Flag of Flawa ceremony in Walsekat Village included 3 stages, namely the preparatory, peak (core) and closing stages. The preparatory stages include; ceremonial means, place and time, saints, the peak of the implementation includes; preparation of ceremonial facilities in the form of lofa, the main procession of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony, the final procession and closing of the implementation of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony, (2) The function of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony, in general in a religious ceremony is the implementation of Hindu religious teachings in religious life as a form of worship , trust and belief in Hyang Widhi (God), the functions of the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony include; religious function, psychological function, structural social function, educational function and economic function, (3) The value of education is the most important part contained in a religious ceremony, ethical and cultural customs. The values of Hindu religious education contained in the Fale Bendera Flawa ceremony include; the value of religious education (belief), the value of nationalist education, the value of humanism education, the value of cultural education

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Indonesia can be carried out through the implementation of the right curriculum in educational units. The implementation of the independent curriculum can improve the quality of education. The objectivitas of this study are to (1) understand the form of implementation of the independent curriculum, (2) identify the obstacles that arise and the efforts made to overcome the obstacles faced during the implementation curriculum, and (3) find out the implications of implementing the independent curriculum. Data collection methods were structured non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, literature study, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis metods by reducing data, presenting data, and conclusion. The results of this research show (1) the form of implementing the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 7 Denpasar is an independent curriculum that has changed, (2) the obstacles that arise are that students are not used to learning the independent curriculum, teachers experience problems with limited LCDs and projectors to support learning, and the school principal lack of comprehensive understanding of the independent curriculum. Efforts to overcome student obstacles by providing reflection, material conclusions, enrichment and remedial, teachers overcome obstacles by utilizing learning applications such as Google Forms, Quizzizz, Kahoot, and attending training, and school principals overcome obstacles by attending workshops and seminars, (3) implications can form good character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profil.

Abstract

Project activities to strengthen the Pancasila student profile are aimed at strengthening efforts to achieve the Pancasila student profile which refers to the Graduate Competency Standards. In order to have a positive character in accordance with the teachings of Hinduism, the teachings that can be implemented to develop students' character are the teachings of Catur Paramitha. The issues discussed: 1) What is the process of implementing the teachings of Catur Paramitha in strengthening the character of P5 students in Hindu religious education learning at Singakerta State Elementary School 5? 2) What are the teacher's efforts in the process of implementing the teachings of Catur Paramitha in strengthening the P5 character of students in Hindu religious education learning at Singakerta State Elementary School 5? 3) What is the impact of implementing the Catur Paramitha teachings in strengthening the character of P5 students learning Hindu religious education at Singakerta State Elementary School 5? The theory used to analyze the problem is character theory developed by Thomas Lickona. And Gege and Berliner's Theory of Behaviorism. Research location of SD Negeri 5 Singakerta, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency. Informant Determination Technique purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation, qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research show 1) The process of implementing Chess Paramitha Teachings in Strengthening the P5 Character of Students, implemented through: Implementation of Chess Paramitha in Learning, Implementation of Chess Paramitha in P5 Values, Implementation of Chess Paramitha in Extracurriculars. 2) Teacher Efforts in the Process of Implementing the Catur Paramitha Teachings in Strengthening the P5 Character of Students at Singakerta State Elementary School 5, through the efforts made by the teacher, Building Commitment with the School Community, Building exemplary behavior for students through the Catur Paramitha teachings in strengthening the P5 character, Carrying out Reflection on evaluation of the application of Catur Paramitha teachings in strengthening P5 character. 3) The impact of implementing the Catur Paramitha teachings in strengthening the character of P5 students is increasing the religiousness of students, the impact of social awareness, the impact on institutions.   Keywords: Implementation, Catur Paramitha, P5 Character Strengthening, Hindu Religious  Education

Abstract

The discovery learning model is discovery learning so that this learning model is useful for the world of education, even learning Hindu religious education and character. Based on initial observations of the application of the discovery learning learning model at the research location, it shows an increase in learning motivation and student active responses. The theories used are Skinner's behavioristic theory and Vygotsky's constructivist theory. The research subjects were the principal, deputy principal for curriculum, Hindu religious and character education teachers, students in class XI.9. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews, literature study and document study. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research show (1) The process of implementing the discovery learning model in learning Hindu religious education and character at SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura, namely: (1) Stimulation, (2) Problem Statement, (3) Data Collection, (4) Data Processing, (5) Verification, (6) Generalization. The evaluation stage is the presentation of hypotheses and individual assessment. (2) Obstacles and efforts in implementing the discovery learning model in learning Hindu religious education and character at SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura. Barriers include: (1) lack of efficient learning time. (2) Lack of teacher skills in creating learning media. Efforts include: (1) optimizing learning time. (2) increasing and training teacher professionalism. (3) The impact of implementing the discovery learning model on learning Hindu religious education and character at SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura, namely (1) impact on school image, (2) impact on teacher skills, (3) impact on student learning motivation, (4) impact on student learning outcomes, (5) impact on students' active responses.

Abstract

Character education is the basis for forming ethics in children's personalities, especially students at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar. Thus, one of the teachings used to shape students' character is through the Tri Parartha Teaching. Tri Parartha are three teachings that can shape a child's character, namely Asih, Punia and Bhakti. The formulation of the problem discussed in this research is as follows: (1) What is the form of application of the Tri Parartha teachings in shaping student character at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar? (2) What are the characters that are formed from the application of the Tri Parartha teachings in shaping the character of students at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar? (3) What are the obstacles and efforts made in implementing the Tri Parartha teachings in shaping student character at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar? The results obtained in this research are: (1) the form of application of the Tri Parartha teachings, namely caring for others (compassion), providing emotional support to friends, caring for the environment, praying sincerely, being an alert ambassador (loving and looking after), sharing, saying hello. and greet the teacher, and perform prayers together. (2) character formed from the application of the Tri Parartha teachings, namely faith and devotion to God Almighty, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning and creativity. (3) obstacles in implementing the Tri Parartha teachings, namely the different characters of students, social media, students' economic factors, the application of Bhakti teachings is not optimal. (4) Efforts made to overcome problems in implementing the Tri Parartha teachings are providing understanding and approaches to students, using gadgets wisely, increasing students' awareness by providing sincere assistance, increasing the role of teachers in maximizing the application of bhakti teachings. Abstract

This research discusses about the best steps to implement HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions in an attempt to improve the learning outcomes of grade eight students at SMP PGRI 1 Denpasar in the subjects of Hindu Religious Education and Character. This research aims to apply HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) question-based assessment so that it can improve and increase the learning outcomes of grade eight students at SMP PGRI 1 Denpasar. This research is Participant Classroom Action Research (CAR), so that in this research the researcher plays a full role and is involved directly in the research process from start to finish. The CAR model that used in this research is the CAR model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which is a development of the Kurt Lewin models. As a result, the average score obtained was 63 and the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes during the pre-cycle was 33%, which increased in the first cycle with the step of implementing HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions integrated with scientific learning models and group discussion methods, obtaining an average score. amounted to 74 and the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes was 62%. The final improvement in the second cycle with the step of implementing HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions integrated with the gamification learning model and group discussion method obtained an average score of 85 and a percentage of complete learning outcomes of 86%. In conclusion, the best steps to implement HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) questions in an attempt to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Denpasar, Hindu Religious Education and Character Education subjects are the implementation of the steps in the second cycle, which integrate questions HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) with a gamification model and group discussion method. Future researchers are advised to analyze the limitations of this research, so that this research can be developed.

Abstract

The development of globalization and technology has brought significant changes to all aspects of human life, including influencing children's behavior. Nowadays, elementary school children are familiar with dating and are even able to express their feelings to the opposite sex. This phenomenon is important to research so that children are able to understand that elementary school is a time to learn to be a brahmacari. The problem formulation is: (1) The dating style of elementary school children at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective); (2) The impact of the dating style of elementary school children on the learning motivation of students at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective); (3) The role of Hindu Religion and Character education teachers in responding to the phenomenon of elementary school children's dating styles at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective). The purpose of this research is to determine children's dating styles, the impact they have, and the role of Hindu Religious Education and Character teachers in responding to the phenomenon of elementary school children's dating styles at SD Negeri 26 Pemecutan (Hindu Religious Education Perspective). The theory used in this research uses stimulus-response theory and moral foundation theory. Data collection methods use observation, interviews, literature study and documentation, with qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show:(1) Children in the Hindu perspective are categorized as students (brahmacari), so they are not suitable for dating. The current style of dating for children is done by meeting in person at school/outside of school, and using social media; (2) The impacts that arise are negative and positive impacts; (3) The role of Hindu Religious Education and Character Education teachers is as supervisor, guide and director in educating children based on Hindu religious teachings.

Abstract

Abstract Extracurricular yoga asana is an activity carried out outside of subject hours as a forum for character development chosen by students which has the benefit of building physical health and concentration. The issues discussed are: What are the forms of extracurricular implementation of yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang? What are the efforts to implement extracurricular yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang? What is the role of extracurricular yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang? The theories used are structural functional theory and role theory. type of qualitative research. Based on the qualitative descriptive analysis, the results obtained are, 1) the form of extracurricular implementation of yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang can be seen from the process which includes: Initial stage, core stage, final stage, and post-implementation of extracurricular yoga asana. 2) Efforts to implement extracurricular yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang, namely preparing extracurricular facilities and infrastructure for yoga asana and professional instructors in their fields, 3) The role of extracurricular yoga asana at SMP Negeri 3 Rendang, namely increasing students' learning concentration, improving physical health and students' spirituality and improving students' character, the character that is formed is increasing students' religiousness, increasing students' discipline, increasing students' honesty, and increasing students' independence. Abstract

The role of teachers in education increases interest in learning which includes efforts to create a learning environment that inspires students to enjoy learning. Interested learning is self-directed, including enthusiasm, seriousness, concentration, and strategies to achieve goals. Educators need to improve the quality of learning in the classroom, the quality of learning in the classroom can be improved in various ways, so that students feel comfortable. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe and analyze in detail the role of teachers in developing students' interest in learning. The results of this research are also based on observations made by researchers at SDN 26 Ampenan. To increase the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of learning so that it meets expectations, in the learning process teachers are encouraged to carry out various innovations such as by creating learning media, especially in subjects that are considered difficult, students will be more interested in achieving their academic potential effectively maximum. Abstract

This journal discusses the role and challenges faced by teachers in improving the quality of education in the digital era. Education is recognized as the key to achieving a better life, where teacher competence is a crucial factor in achieving learning goals. With the development of information technology, teachers are required to have digital pedagogical skills to utilize technology in the teaching process. This research uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation to explore how teachers face these challenges. The research results show that teacher professionalism must continue to be improved in order to adapt to curriculum changes and technological developments. The challenges faced include the need to update skills, face scientific advances, and act as a facilitator and motivator. The proposed solutions include empowering teachers in the use of technology and increasing abilities in using modern learning tools. This journal emphasizes the importance of human resource readiness and supporting facilities and infrastructure to achieve effective technology-based education.   Keywords: Teacher Professionals, Challenges, Educational Technology
