Abstract

Gajah Mada was a very legendary leader in the era of the Majapahit kingdom because he had succeeded in uniting the entire archipelago, even covering a wider area than the Republic of Indonesia. Gajah Mada is known as a man who is very religious, believes and obeys God, has a great sense of affection for fellow creatures, has great respect and love for the homeland of the archipelago and always puts the interests of the state, nation and people above personal and group interests until Majapahit reached the peak of glory. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct a study to explore the role model of Gajah Mada. There are also issues that will be discussed, among others (1) What is Gajah Mada's example in Hindu leadership? (2) What is the relevance of Gajah Mada's leadership role with Hindu religious education?. The aims of this study are (1) to find out the exemplary pattern of Gajah Mada in Hindu leadership. (2) To describe the relevance of Gajah Mada's leadership role with Hindu religious education. Theories used in this study include: Leadership Theory from Gordon Allport and Hans Eynsenck, Behaviorism Theory from Burrhus Frederic Skinner. While the data collection techniques used are: Document Study, Literature Study and Interview. Furthermore, the data that has been collected was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method with the steps of Data Reduction, Data Classification and Data Display. The results of this study show (1) Gajah Mada's exemplary pattern in Hindu leadership includes (a) Intellectual Intelligence which includes Wisdom (Wijna), Good at Speaking (Wagmi Wakpatu), Good at Managing Strategy (Wicaksaneng Naya). (b) Emotional Intelligence which includes Courage (Mantriwira), Gaining Trust (Matanggwan), Faithful (Satya Bhakti Prabhu), Humble (Sarjjawopasama), Hard Work (Dhirotsaha), Firm (Sumantri), Submissive Enemy (Anayaken Enemy). (c) Spiritual Intelligence which includes Loving All Creatures and the Universe (Sih Samastabhuwana), True Faith (Tan Lalana). (2) The relevance of Gajah Mada's leadership role with Hindu religious education includes (a) Asta Brata's teachings which include Surya Brata, Candra Brata, Bayu Brata, Kuwera Brata, Baruna Brata, Agni Brata, Yama Brata, Indra Brata. (b) The teachings of Tri Hita Karana which include pahyangan, pawongan, palemahan. (c) Teacher's Chess teachings which include devotion to self-help teachers, devotion to visual teachers, devotion to recitation teachers, and devotion to wisesa teachers.

Abstract

To build up a tolerant character on student is an important aim in the education world because it will be related to the output of the students that are expected by all parties, especially parents. One of the ways to build up a tolerant character is through schools, schools are part of efforts to improve the education of human tolerance from an early age. Such as Vocational High School or SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan), one of them is Vocational High School 1 Denpasar which placed in the center city of Denpasar, in which the students are not only Hindus, but there are Christianity, Moslem, etc. Therefore, tolerance and respect between each other are needed to support the tolerance between religions; then, the role of the teacher is very important in this case because the teacher can build up the character of students in order to have a tolerant character in the school and in the social community later on . The role of Hindus teachers in developing the tolerance character of student, namely through intracurricular activities and extracurricular activities. Both of these activities have a main contribution in the development of the tolerance character of students. The obstacles faced by Hindus teachers in developing the tolerance character of the students are caused by two factors: the first, the internal factor or innate factors, students interest, and emotional that are natural and innate from within students. The second is the external factors (family, school, community, and mass media) based on the outside of students.Thus, the students must be able to sort themselves out and be balanced by the attention of parents and schools so that these obstacles not interfere with the development of the student's character. The efforts made by Hindus teachers to solve these obstacles in developing the tolerance character of studets at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar are carried out by applying the 3 S Attitude (Senyum, Salam dan Sapa), the habbit of some activities in the classroom, developing the learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Religion is a stick for guiding people who are blind to the moral values and religious norms that go on in society. Sekaa Teruna is one of the traditional organizations in Bali today. This organization serves as a forum for developing adolescent creativity. In addition, this organization is also expected to be a place to preserve local culture and traditions. However, in the modern era that tends to lead to the development of science and technology, society, especially the younger generation, develops to negative things. The meaning of religion in the view of the younger generation today is still considered as a supplement that is needed at any time. There are five forms religiosity of sekaa teruna that is ngayah in the framework of piodalan, ngayah mereresik, prayers purnama and tilem, tirta yatra, otonan ceremony, and cultural arts activites.

Abstract

Marriage is a noble social institution because it is a Grhastha Dormitory, which is a place to carry out the Dharma. Grhastha has an important meaning in the life of Hindu society. One of the ways of marriage that is carried out by means of singing, especially Soroh Batu Jelantik in Gulingan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The theory used to analyze the formulation of the problem is: 1). Structural Functionalism Theory. 2). Theory of Religion 3) Symbolic Interactionism Theory. The methods used to collect data are non-participatory observation methods, interviews, literature and documents. The technique of determining the informants used was Purposive Sampling. The collected data were analyzed with data analysis techniques with steps of reduction, data presentation, data drawing conclusions. The research results show 1). The reasons for carrying out the Ngamaling Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village are: 1. Carrying out the Tradition. 2. The caste system takes place. 3. The existence of interfaith marriage, and 4. Marriage under age. 2). The wedding procession of the Soroh Batu Jelantik wedding in Gulingan Village are: 1). The initial stage of the implementation of the Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village: 1. Mapajati 2. Map behavior 3. Inflammation 2).1. Makala-Kalaan ceremony 2. Widhi-Widhana ceremony. 3. Majuman ceremony. 3) The final stage of the implementation of the Ngamaling Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village, namely: 1. Macaru Sang Hyang Semara Ratih. 2. Complete marriage administration. 3). The impacts that exist on a ngamaling marriage are: 1. Psychological impact. 2. Impact on Family. 3. Religious Impact. 4. Social Impact.

Abstract

Bali has a wide variety of cultural heritage with its own uniqueness and distinctiveness. One of the cultural heritage of Bali in the past is the Samuan Tiga temple. This temple is located in Bedulu Village, Blahbatuh Subdistrict, Gianyar Regency. In the implementation of piodalan ceremony at Pura Samuan Tiga, a unique and distinctive ritual dance (wali) is performed by the local community called Rejang Permas Dance. The issues that will be discussed include: 1) What is the religious motive and the condition of the cause in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance?, 2) How is the religious system of Dewa Yajna ceremony in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance?, 3) What is the meaning of Aesthetic-based Hindu Religious Education in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance?. In general, what is to be achieved, is to preserve Balinese culture, especially Rejang Permas Dance. In particular, it has a purpose: (1) To explain religious motives and causal conditions in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance, (2) To describe the religious system of Dewa Yajna ceremony in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance, (3) To explore the meaning of Aesthetic-based Hindu Religious Education in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance. The theories used to dissect the above problems are: Deconstruction, Religion and Aesthetics Theory. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. The type of research approach used is the educational approach. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection is done using techniques: Observation, interview, documentation and literature. Data is analyzed based on qualitative descriptive analysis with descriptive data analysis measures and interpretive data analysis. Qualitative data validation techniques are triangulation techniques and expert opinion. Religious motives and causal conditions in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance consists of: 1) Religious Motifs include Dancers, , movement, property, accompaniment of gamelan, 2) Condition of cause includes Rejang Permas dance as sacred dance, Rejang Permas dance as a complement to the ceremony.The religious system of Dewa Yajna ceremony in the performance of Rejang Permas dance is: Preparation of Rejang Permas dance performance, Implementation of Rejang Permas dance performance, Final activity of Rejang Permas dance performance. The meaning of Aesthetic-based Hindu Religious Education in the staging of Rejang Permas Dance includes: Motion, Makeup and Fashion, Property, Offerings or Banten.

Abstract

Dana punia are a sacred activity as one of the applications of dharma teachings. For that reason, it is also important to know how the primacy of the dana punia teachings in Hindu literature is especially in the Bhagawad Gita. Hinduism awareness, especially Hindus in Duda Timur Village, Selat District, Karangasem District, on the teachings of dana Punia in the Bgagawad Gita book will be able to provide benefits in life as human beings who are obliged to dana punia or offer everything good to God, humans and the environment. sincerely.The problems that will be discussed include (1) What are the dana punia teachings in the Book of Bhagawad Gita? (2) What is the public perception of the dana punia teachings in the Book of Bhagawad Gita? (3) What is the actualization of the dana punia in the Bhagawad Gita? This study aims to find out (1) the teaching of dana punia in the Bhagawad Gita Book. (2) Public perception of the dana punia teachings in the Bhagawad Gita book. (3) Actualization of dana punia teachings in the Bhagawad Gita book.The theory used is the theory of Hermeneutics, Perception, and Symbolic Interactionism. The subjects of this study were community leaders, data collection methods used were observation, interviews, document studies, and library studies. The collected data was analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of reduction, presentation of data and conclusion.The results showed: dana punia teachings in Hindu literature, types of dana punia in the Bhagawad Gita book, implementation of dana punia in East Duda Village, forms of dana punia, proceeds from the implementation of dana punia, impacts resulting from the implementation of dana punia, and actualization of teachings dana punia in the Bhagawad Gita book.

Abstract

Formal education is one of the keys to the development and improvement of children's self- quality and behavior, especially elementary school education. This is where the role of educators is to provide education to students in accordance with the functions and objectives of National education which is carried out through various activities, one of which is through learning yoga asanas. Development in the field of education is very important in producing quality human resources. One of the institutions that have aspirations to make this happen is SD PGRI Denpasar City. The problems discussed include: (1) How is the process of implementing yoga asanas for elementary school students at PGRI Denpasar City? (2) What educational values are contained in learning yoga asanas for SD PGRI students in Dnepasar City? (3) What is the role of learning yoga asanas in SD PGRI Denpasar City students?. The theories used to analyze the problem are humanistic learning theory, value theory and role theory. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, literature studies, and document studies. The data that has been collected is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The technique of presenting the results of data analysis is presented formally and informally. The results of the study show: (1) The process of implementing yoga asanas for elementary school students at PGRI Denpasar City includes the stages of preparation, introduction, prayer, stretching, calming, Suryanamaskara and asanas, meditation and closing prayers, (2) Educational values contained in learning yoga asanas for students of SD PGRI Denpasar City, namely the value of religious education, the value of ethical education, the value of discipline education, the value of multicultural education and the value of health education, (3) The role of learning yoga asanas in SD PGRI Denpasar City students is to increase students' sraddha and devotional service, increase orderliness of students, increasing student tolerance, maintaining physical and spiritual health of students and developing student skills.

Abstract

The pattern of education is the form, method or variety in educating, especially education in Hindu families. The provision of education is very important to prevent the occurrence of behavioral deviations that are currently rife in society. Each family certainly applies a different education pattern but aims to develop a good personality in children.The formulation of the problem in this study are 1) What is the Education Pattern for Hindu Families in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?, 2) What are the Obstacles Faced in the Hindu Family Education Pattern in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?, 3) What are the Efforts to Face Obstacles in the Pattern? Hindu Family Education in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency? The purposes of this study: 1) Describe the Hindu Family Education Pattern in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, 2) To know the obstacles faced in the Hindu Family Education Pattern in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, 3) To describe the efforts to face obstacles in the Hindu Family Education Pattern in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The theory used in this research is the theory of behavioristic, phenomenological, and constructivist. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation study. The informants in this study were Hindu families in Sading Village. The results obtained are 1) Hindu Family Education Patterns in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, namely religious education patterns, ethical education patterns, satya education patterns, education patterns with exemplary, education patterns with habituation, and education patterns with advice 2) Obstacles that faced in the pattern of Hindu family education in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, consists of internal factors and external factors 3) Efforts to overcome obstacles in the pattern of Hindu family education in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency are the Bayuh Oton ceremony, giving attention and affection to the family. children, facilitating children's creativity and limiting the use of technology.

Abstract

The values of education in ceremonies are still largely unknown. The form of ceremony that is still not understood about its educational values is the banten bebajangan at the mebajang colong ceremony in Keliki Village. Issues to be discussed include: (1) What is the shape of the Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. (2) What meaning is contained in Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. (3) What is the value of Hindu Religious Education contained in Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. This study aims to determine: (1) the form of Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. (2) The meaning of Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. (3) The value of Hindu religious education contained in Banten Bebajangan at the Mebajang Colong Ceremony in Keliki Village. The theories used to analyze the problem are: religious theory, symbolic interactionism theory and value theory. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, documentation and literature. The collected data were analyzed by reducing, presenting and drawing conclusions. Based on data analysis, the research results obtained are: (1) The form of the bebajangan offering consists of several types of rivals, namely; tetandingan boki, sorohan alit, tumpeng danan, squeeze, ajuman, pemeneng pebuwu, penjor or gonjer, laban and raka- raka laklak tape. (2) Banten bebajangan has several meanings, namely religious meaning, symbolic meaning, purification meaning, respect meaning and harmony meaning. (3) The values of Hindu religious education contained in banten bebajangan are character values, aesthetic values, ethical values, social values and economic values.

Abstract

The people of Bali view cultural art as an offering, as well as life balance guards, so that the art and culture development is carried out from within the family to the wider community. The art of one of the elements of universal culture includes several fields of art. One of the art that is still preserved in Bali in particular is the Lontar Prasi in the village of Tenganan Pegringsing. The Prasi-Lontar is an illustration of the puppet and gods on the Lontar leaves, one of the fine arts that includes the cultural heritage of ancestors who have high aesthetic value. The problems that will be discussed include: 1. How is the process of making Prasi Lontar in Tenganan Pegringsing village, Karangasem?. 2) How is the function of the Prasi Lontar in the life of people in Tenganan Pegringsingan village, Karangasem?. 3) The value of religion of Hinduism What is contained in the Prasi Lontar in Tenganan Pegringsingan village, Karangasem?. The theory used to analyse the problem is learning theory, used to discuss the process of making Prasi Lontar in the village of Tenganan Pegringsingan, Karangasem. Structural functional theory, which is used to discuss the function of the Prasi Lontar in the life of people in Tenganan Pegringsingan village, Karangasem. Value theory, used to discuss the value of religious education what is contained in the Prasi Lontar in the village of Tenganan Pegringsingan, Karangasem. The data collection methods used in this study are non- participant observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The collected data is analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis method with reduced steps, data presentation, conclusion withdrawal and data analysis presentation. The results of the study showed (1) the process of the establishment of the Prasi Lontar in the village of Tenganan Pegringsingan Karangasem, making Prasi Lontar has three stages, the initial stage prepared is the leaf rontal and its equipment. The creation stage is the creation of the Prasi Lontar in the form of puppet pictures and gods. The final stage is to give black using candlenut fruit. (2) The function of the Prasi Lontar in the lives of people in the village Tenganan Pegringsingan Karangasem, consists of socio-cultural function, economic function, and preservation function. (3) The value of religious education is contained in the Prasi Lontar in the village Tenganan Pegringsigan, Karangasem which is the value of Tattwa education, Susila educational value, and aesthetic education value.
