Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan wadah bagi para akademisi, praktisi, dan pemimpin gereja Kristen dan Katolik untuk berbagi pemikiran, penelitian, dan pengalaman praktis mereka dalam mendidik generasi muda. Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high religious, cultural and ethnic diversity, where the potential for conflict and intolerance often becomes a challenge in social life. In this context, the Ecumenical Movement plays a strategic role as a forum for Christian unity across denominations to support the development of peace and tolerance in Indonesia. Through an approach to inter-religious dialogue, inclusive education and social action, this movement contributes to strengthening social harmony and building cross-religious solidarity. The Ecumenical Movement succeeded in reducing inter-religious prejudice, promoting respect for diversity, and forming a tolerant young generation. The Ecumenical Movement not only plays a role in strengthening internal relations among Christians but is also an important actor in creating peace and social stability in Indonesia's multicultural society.

Abstract

The ecumenical movement, which aims to unite divided Christian churches, continues to develop with complex dynamics among Christians today. Despite differences in doctrines, traditions and worship practices between denominations, the movement focuses on the unity of faith in Christ through inter-church dialog and social cooperation. Oikumene is a movement that aims to unite divided Christian churches, emphasizing unity in faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The history of ecumenism dates back to the Council of Nicea in 325 AD, which aimed to unite the divided churches. This journal will explore the dynamics of ecumenics among Christians today, highlighting the dynamics of ecumenical development, opportunities, challenges, and efforts to be made.

Abstract

This article examines how the teaching ofradical love in the Gospel of Luke can be a solution to overcome religious extremism. religious extremism. Radical love in Luke teaches the importance of loving enemies, accepting unconditionally, and promoting peace. This teaching has three main functions: encouraging change in individuals and society, reducing tensions between groups, and replacing hatred with love.As such, Luke's radical love becomes a practical approach to create peace and reduce conflicts brought about by extremism in society.

Abstract

This Abstract Outlines The Historical Role Of The Christian Church In Governance, Especially In The Western World. From Its Early Development, The Church Wielded Considerable Influence Over Social And Political Affairs, Particularly After Christianity Became The Official Religion Of The Roman Empire In The 4th Century. Beyond Its Religious Duties, The Church Served As A Powerful Social, Moral, And Legal Authority In Medieval Europe. Through Canon Law, It Governed Various Facets Of Societal Life, Including Marriage, Inheritance, And Social Norms, And Validated The Power Of Rulers Through The “Divine Right” Doctrine. However, The Protestant Reformation Of The 16th Century Marked A Major Shift, Promoting A Separation Of Church And State That Influenced The Rise Of Secular Governance Systems. The Protestant Church Championed Religious Freedom And Individual Autonomy, Foundations For Modern Pluralism And Democracy. In The Contemporary Era, While The Church’s Formal Governance Role Has Declined, It Remains A Moral Voice, Particularly On Social Issues, Justice, And Human Rights. This Study Concludes That The Church's Role In Governance Has Evolved From A Political And Legal Authority To A More Inclusive Moral And Social Role In A Progressively Secular Society.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the characteristics of cognitive, social and moral development in adolescence and adulthood, by highlighting various factors that influence the dynamics of individual growth at these two stages of life. Adolescence is characterized by significant changes in abstract and logical thinking abilities, which correspond to the formal operations stage in Piaget's cognitive theory. In addition, teenagers begin to develop self-identities and build more complex social relationships. In adulthood, cognitive development shows a shift from purely logical thinking to more reflective and pragmatic thinking, which adapts to real-life challenges. This research concludes that understanding the characteristics of cognitive, social and moral development in adolescence and adulthood is very important in supporting optimal individual development. The results of this research can be a reference for educators, counselors and parents in providing guidance and support in accordance with individual development needs at each stage of life.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an approach to global education created to provide more freedom for teachers and students in the learning process. In the context of Christian Religious Education (PAK), the Independent Curriculum is needed to increase student activity through the implementation of learning that is more flexible and in sync with the needs and potential of each student. This research aims to explore the role of the Merdeka Curriculum in increasing students' activeness in PAK learning. Through a more student-centered approach and encouraging active participation, the Independent Curriculum is needed to create a more enjoyable, creative and productive learning atmosphere. The results of this research show that the application of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAK can increase student activity, both in terms of emotional, intellectual and social involvement. Thus, the Independent Curriculum not only places freedom in learning, but is also the key to creating a progressive and effective learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and comprehend the cognitive development of young children, particularly those between the ages of five and six, at Tk Cerdas Ceria. Direct observation of the children's activities and learning process at Tk Cerdas Ceria was used in this study. Teachers' interviews and field reports were used to gather data. The findings demonstrated that children between the ages of 5 and 6 had substantial cognitive development, as seen by improved language use, problem-solving, and logical thinking abilities. Youngsters started to solve basic problems, comprehend cause-and-effect relationships, and classify items. An engaging learning environment, a range of varied learning activities, and the active involvement of parents and instructors all have an impact on this.

Abstract

The Code of Ethics is very important for the professionalism of an PAK teacher in carrying out the learning process and advancing the world of education. The quality of a student in the world of education is very dependent on the quality of a teacher. Therefore, a PAK teacher who is professional should have competence in accordance with national education standards so that he can carry out his duties and roles with good competency standards, which results in students becoming knowledgeale human beings and possessing skills. Not only that, before educating a PAK teacher, he must be equipped with the values of truth that are in accordance with god’s word. Being a teacher is not only as a teacher but as a guide for the character of students to become characters that are pleasing to the lord jesus. A PAK teacher before educating is able to study the teachers code of ethics well according to a Biblical perspective. If an PAK teacher can master and understand the correct code of ethics then in every teaching and guidance that is done to students it can run according to the truth of God’s Word.

Abstract

Faith transformation is a spiritual process that changes the lives of believers so that they become more Christ-like, both internally and externally. This paper discusses the importance of a living and dynamic faith that has a real impact in daily life. Churches and church leaders have a strategic role in the development of the congregation through spiritual education, social services, character building, and the utilization of technology. The faith transformation model involves a continuous spiritual journey that starts from awareness of God's call, repentance, to becoming an agent of social change. The impact of faith transformation includes individual spiritual maturity, contribution to church ministry, and positive influence on the wider community. With a purposeful strategy, a transformed congregation can become a channel of God's love that blesses the family, the church, and the world.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers in implementing the demonstration method to students at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong, North Tapanuli Regency. The pedagogical competence in question includes the teacher's ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning, focusing on the demonstration method used to improve students' understanding and skills. This study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were Christian Religious Education teachers at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong, as well as several students who were directly involved in the learning process. The study results indicate that Christian Religious Education teachers at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong have good pedagogical competence in implementing the demonstration method. Teachers can use the demonstration method effectively to teach Christian religious concepts, such as compassion, forgiveness, and other moral values, by actively involving students in the learning process. Applying the demonstration method positively impacts the learning process and the formation of student character. Therefore, schools need to continue to increase support for the development of teacher competence and the provision of facilities that support the optimal implementation of this method.
