Jurnal Miftahul Ilmi: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh STIKes Ibnu Sina Ajibarang. Abstract

This research discusses zakat distribution as a strategic instrument in poverty alleviation through the practices of Amil Zakat Institutions in Indonesia. The background of this study stems from the persistently high poverty rate and the great potential of zakat as a source of religious social funds. The objective of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of zakat distribution by Amil Zakat Institutions in reducing poverty levels. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach by analyzing secondary data from various reports, articles, and institutional publications. The findings indicate that productive zakat distribution—such as micro-business financing, skills training, and economic empowerment programs—has a significant impact on improving the welfare of zakat beneficiaries (mustahik). The implication of this research is the need to optimize zakat management in a sustainable, transparent, and economically empowering way, so that zakat becomes not only charitable but also transformative in socio-economic development.

Abstract

This article discusses the secret to wealth from the perspective of the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emphasizing the importance of understanding wealth both spiritually and physically. In society, many questions arise regarding how to become wealthy according to Islamic teachings, especially based on the Prophet's hadiths. Therefore, this article aims to provide a Sharia-compliant guide on how to acquire wealth and how to distribute it properly. The discussion focuses on four main points: (1) understanding true wealth that has eternal value in the hereafter, (2) motivation to pursue wealth, (3) factors that attract sustenance, and (4) factors that hinder sustenance. The author highlights the issue that many people desire wealth but pursue it through means prohibited in Islam, such as stealing, engaging in usury, or seizing others' rights. In this context, the hadiths serve as the main foundation for explaining the principles of blessed and lawful wealth. Through this article, the author hopes to provide society with the correct understanding of how to seek worldly wealth while upholding Islamic values. This article is also expected to serve as a guide to build spiritual awareness and ethical conduct in striving for success, and to offer a reflection for both the author and readers on the journey toward halal and blessed wealth.

Abstract

This study analyzes digital media learning innovations in teaching aqidah and akhlak in the digital era. With the advancement of information technology, digital media has become an important tool to increase student engagement and understanding of aqidah values. The use of interactive media, such as animated films and multimedia applications, has proven effective in enriching the learning experience and increasing student motivation. Although there are challenges, such as lack of training for teachers and gaps in access to technology, a comprehensive strategy can help overcome these obstacles. The integration of digital literacy in aqidah education has also been identified as an important aspect to prepare students to face modern challenges. The results of the study indicate that the use of digital media not only supports the delivery of material but also contributes to the formation of student character. It is hoped that this study can be a reference for the development of more innovative and effective teaching methods in the context of aqidah and akhlak education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies used by teachers in improving the quality of Fiqh learning for class I at MIN 3 Way Kanan. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The main instrument in this study is an interview guideline to identify problems that occur in the learning process. Based on the results of the study, it was found that teachers have not been consistent in implementing learning strategies, methods, and supporting media so that students have difficulty in understanding the material well. This is due to the lack of creativity and innovation of teachers in compiling and developing Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). In improving the quality of Fiqh learning, the strategies used by teachers include the implementation of student-centered learning with an inquiry approach, which can make the learning process more active and enjoyable. Teachers also need to compile RPPs creatively and innovatively, understand learning objectives, and find additional learning resources besides LKS.

Abstract

The revised Bloom's Taxonomy is a framework of thinking that is widely used in education to design learning objectives, assessments, and curricula. The revised taxonomy by Anderson and Krathwohl changes the classification from nouns to operational verbs, starting from low to high cognitive levels: remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create. This study aims to analyze the application of creative ability (C6) in Islamic Jurisprudence learning at MI Nurul Qodim, especially in the context of implementing the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that students' creative abilities in Islamic Jurisprudence learning have not yet developed optimally. This is due to the learning method that still focuses on basic concepts in textbooks and the limited experience of students in solving contextual problems. Lower-grade students are still dominant in playing, while upper-grade students begin to show their ability to argue and solve simple problems. Therefore, a more innovative and contextual learning approach is needed to hone high-level thinking skills, especially in the realm of creating (C6).

Abstract

This study investigates effective strategies for fostering religious discipline and filial piety in children through family-based education. Employing a qualitative research design, data were obtained via observation, in-depth interviews, and a comprehensive literature review. The findings reveal that consistent reinforcement of religious values within the family setting plays a pivotal role in shaping a child’s moral and spiritual character. Children raised in households that model regular worship practices and demonstrate respectful interpersonal behavior are more likely to exhibit strong religious commitment and courteous conduct toward their parents. These results underscore the importance of integrating religious values into daily parenting practices and offer practical insights for educators, parents, and policymakers seeking to strengthen character education in the home environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies for preventing pornography and indecency based on Islamic character education among adolescents in the digital era, through the interpretation of Ath-Thabari on Surah An-Nur verses 30–31. These verses provide a strong theological foundation for lowering the gaze (ghaddhul bashar), guarding chastity (hifzhul furuj), and covering the private parts as forms of self-protection from the negative influences of the digital environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, with primary sources including the Qur’an and Tafsir Ath-Thabari, as well as secondary data from various relevant literature and journals. The results show that prevention strategies can be implemented through four main approaches: (1) Islamic character education in schools through strengthening strategies, persuasion, and normative re-education; (2) Education in the family environment using methods such as role modeling, habituation, storytelling, advice, and reward and punishment; (3) The role of society in forming Islamic social groups that actively address the influence of pornography; and (4) Strengthening individual Islamic character through faith, self-control, internet ethics, and repentance behavior. This study affirms that the interpretation of Ath-Thabari can provide applicable contributions in building a strong Islamic character education system as a moral safeguard for adolescents amid the overwhelming flow of digital information.

Abstract

This study addresses the development of Uno card-based learning media to support vocabulary acquisition among eighth-grade students. It focuses on two main issues: the effectiveness of the media in enhancing vocabulary comprehension and the challenges encountered during its development, particularly in relation to learning motivation. The primary goal is to evaluate the extent to which this media aids vocabulary learning and to identify any obstacles in the development process. The research follows the ADDIE model—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. To ensure the validity of the learning media, expert validation was conducted by media, content, and educational professionals. Additionally, student questionnaires were distributed to assess the media’s effectiveness. The validation results showed that the content expert gave a score of 83%, the media expert 81%, and student responses reached 88%, indicating strong acceptance and usability. The effectiveness of the media was further supported by the pre-test and post-test results, with a Normalized Gain score of 61.01%, categorized as "effective." These findings suggest that Uno card-based media is both a valid and effective tool for vocabulary instruction in Arabic language learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in fostering student discipline at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hidayah Sungai Bengkal, Tebo Regency. Student discipline is a crucial aspect of character development and academic success. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the principal implements various strategies such as enforcing school rules, instilling religious values, applying rewards and sanctions, and enhancing communication with parents. However, challenges exist, including students’ lack of awareness regarding the importance of discipline and limited school supervision. Therefore, this study recommends increasing the involvement of all stakeholders, including teachers and parents, to support student discipline development.

Abstract

This study explores the reinforcement of monotheism (tauhid) education through interactive digital content for fifth-grade students at SDIT Insan Kamil in the social media era. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected via classroom observations, interviews with Islamic education teachers, and analysis of digital learning materials. Findings indicate that interactive digital content, including videos, animations, and educational games, enhanced students' understanding of tauhid, increased engagement, and facilitated self-directed learning beyond school hours. Students demonstrated improved participation in discussions and greater confidence in expressing religious inquiries. However, challenges such as unequal access to technology among students were identified. Recommendations include developing tailored digital content aligned with tauhid principles, providing teacher training in technology integration, and addressing technological disparities through collaborative school-parent efforts. This study highlights the potential of digital tools to make Islamic education more relevant and engaging for digitally immersed students, emphasizing balanced collaboration between technology and teacher guidance.
