Jurnal Miftahul Ilmi: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh STIKes Ibnu Sina Ajibarang. Jurnal ini membahas berbagai aspek pendidikan agama Islam, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum, metode pengajaran, integrasi nilai-nilai agama dalam pendidikan karakter, peran teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta tantangan global dalam konteks pendidikan multikultural. Artikel-artikelnya berisi penelitian empiris, kajian literatur, dan analisis kebijakan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan agama Islam di berbagai lembaga pendidikan. Abstract

The history of the spread of Islamic education in the early days in Indonesia is an integral part of the process of Islamization of the archipelago that has been going on since the 13th century. Islamic education not only functions as a means of spreading religion, but also as a medium for forming the social, cultural, and intellectual character of the community. This process is carried out through various channels, including the role of ulama, Islamic boarding schools, surau, and mosques as centers of education. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the process of spreading Islamic education in the early days, by examining various supporting factors such as trade routes, cultural acculturation, and the involvement of local communities. A literature review approach is used to explore relevant literature, including historical manuscripts, current research, and other academic documents. The findings show that the success of Islamic education in the early days cannot be separated from the strategy of cultural adaptation, teaching based on local traditions, and the support of the diaspora ulama community in various regions. Previous research, such as that conducted by Azra, emphasized the importance of the ulama network in Southeast Asia and the contribution of traditional educational institutions in building an inclusive and sustainable Islamic education system. The conclusion of this study confirms that Islamic education in the early days in Indonesia played a significant role in shaping the social structure and religious identity of the community. To strengthen its relevance, further study is needed on the transformation of the early Islamic education system and its implications for the challenges of modern education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates how psychomotor domain evaluation contributes to enhancing high-level skills in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Gemolong. Psychomotor evaluation, encompassing physical skills and activities, plays a vital role in helping students understand religious principles theoretically and apply them in daily life. Observation, interviews, and documentation served as the primary tools in this qualitative and descriptive research. The findings reveal that psychomotor evaluation aids students in developing Islamic skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Students also benefit from evaluation methods like observation, practice tests, and simulations. This study is expected to provide practical recommendations for improving the quality of PAI learning and establishing a comprehensive evaluation system. Furthermore, it aims to assist teachers in shaping students with both academic competence and practical skills.

Abstract

The learning and teaching system at the Postgraduate level of higher education greatly contributes to the development of society and the state. Postgraduate class must certainly have a good strategy in improving the quality of education. so that the results obtained are in accordance with the goals that have been outlined. Likewise, the Postgraduate Program system at the Tribakti Islamic University Lirboyo Kediri. no exception to the Education. However, efforts to realize Quality in the Study Program play an important role in making it happen. This study aims to determine the form of caprodi strategy in realizing the quality of PAI Study Program at the Postgraduate Program of Tribakti Islamic University, knowing the procedures of each Kaprodi strategy in Realizing the Quality of PAI Study Program at the Postgraduate Program of Tribakti Islamic University. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of field research approach. This research was conducted at Tribakti Islamic University (UIT) Lirboyo Kediri, Lirboyo Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Kediri. The results of this study are: 1) The form of Kaprodi's Strategy in realizing the Quality of PAI Study Program at the Postgraduate Program of Tribakti Islamic University has several forms, namely by Achieving Accreditation-Based Quality, Preserving Excellent Programs and International Proceedings Seminars. 2) Quality planning, quality control and quality improvement. The procedure includes three activities, namely opening activities such as debriefing and grouping students with lecturers. In this core activity is carried out while the activity is in progress such as making observations. for closing activities carried out at the end of the activity and after activities such as making final reports in the form of journals and articles which are used as a condition for the completion of the activity. Of the three contain Quality Planning, Quality Quality and Quality Improvement.

Abstract

This research aims to show the extent to which Islamic Religious Education (PAI) contributes to the development of tolerant student character at Jakarta State University (UNJ). This research uses a qualitative approach using library research methods (library study). to analyze character development in the practice of religious activities in the school environment. The research results show that strong character development occurs through religious practices at school which strengthen students' character. This research concludes that although Islamic religious education has a very important role in forming a tolerant character, it needs to be supported by various other efforts from both the school and the students themselves.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an important concept in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), especially in the digital era that brings challenges such as the spread of extreme ideologies through the internet and the low digital literacy of students. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of strengthening religious moderation through the PAI curriculum and offer technology-based strategies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review. Data were obtained from various literatures, such as scientific journals, books, and policy documents, which were analyzed using the content analysis method. The results showed that the main challenges include lack of digital literacy, resistance to change, and limited supporting resources. On the other hand, opportunities include the utilization of digital technologies such as online learning platforms, social media, and technology-based educational content to convey moderation values in an attractive manner. Recommended strategies include the integration of moderation values in the curriculum, strengthening teacher competencies through digital training, and collaboration with various stakeholders. This research makes a novel contribution by integrating the challenges and opportunities of the digital era into the approach of strengthening religious moderation. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for policymakers in creating a more adaptive and relevant PAI curriculum in the digital era.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the role of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab in understanding Uslub Al-Hakim in Quran Surah Al-Baqarah verse 190. Uslub Al-Hakim, characterized by shifting the conversation to more important matters, often utilizes the contrast between Al-Salb and Al-Ijab. This study specifically analyzes how the contrasting roles of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab within Uslub Al-Hakim create a broad and profound meaning implied in the verse. Through a case study of the relevant verse from Surah Al-Baqarah, the paper will explain how Uslub Al-Hakim shifts the discourse from one subject to another, and will also explain how the mechanisms of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab work to strengthen arguments and draw the reader’s attention. The data for this research is sourced from the Quran and analyzed qualitatively. The findings of this study are expected to contribute new insights into the study of Quranic style and provide a deeper understanding of the language used in the sacred text.

Abstract

That students or students are part of the nation's future youth who are the milestones for future progress. Forming a student's character can start with the importance of a student learning about leadership. The leadership of Rasulullah Muhammad SAW is a leadership model that can be implemented in organizations. Islamic leadership is the entire process of influencing, encouraging, inviting, moving and guiding other people in the work process to think and act in accordance with applicable rules in order to achieve goals set based on the values ​​of the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah. Leadership in Islam is very important because it functions to create public problems and realize equal prosperity for all citizens. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. This research is qualitative research. This research was conducted at the SMPIT Bina Benuanta Tanjung Selor school by providing material exposure to learners or students with the hope of forming and encouraging a culture of quality Islamic education in understanding and developing Islamic leadership practices so that quality education, with integrity and oriented towards Islamic values, is realized.

Abstract

This research discusses various schools of Kalam science, including Ash'ariyah, Maturidiyah, Mu'tazilah, and Wahhabiyah and examines the core ideas that underlie them. Each school presents a unique approach in understanding humans' relationship with God, freedom and moral responsibility through a combination of rational (aqli) and textual (naqli) arguments. This article explores how the development of theological thought not only enriched the Islamic intellectual tradition, but also shaped the community's response to social and political dynamics throughout history. Using qualitative methods based on literature study, this research analyzes the relevance of these schools of thought in responding to the challenges of the modern era. The research findings emphasize the importance of moderation and tolerance as the main foundation for maintaining harmony in the diversity of Islamic thought. This article provides a fresh perspective that can be a strategic reference in developing inclusive theological discussions amidst the challenges of the contemporary world.

Abstract

For parents who have children, it is a great gift and trust from Allah SWT. Therefore, parents have a big responsibility to educate their children optimally. This study is based on concerns about the increasingly uncontrolled flow of information and that many children are falling into negative and anarchic things. As parents we have a very important task in implementing prenatal education as the first form of education for the younger generation. However, problems often arise when parents are less aware of the importance of prenatal education and are often ignored. There are even people who think that educating children begins after the child is born. This assumption is a big mistake because educating children from birth is a very important thing in the form of indirect stimuli or touches, both in physical and psychological form. Providing this kind of stimulation can be an education in itself for the fetus in the womb.

Abstract

The role of the principal is very significant in efforts to improve the quality of the institution he leads. In order to achieve this goal, the principal must carry out the role and function appropriately according to the needs. As a leader, the principal needs to understand what role needs to be carried out, be it as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, or motivator. This study aims to identify the contribution of the principal in improving the quality of Islamic education. The method used is library research, which focuses on collecting, analyzing, and compiling information from various literature sources in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the topic being studied. The principal must have a high fighting spirit as an agent of change in an effort to improve the quality of education managed, the principal strives to achieve the predetermined quality standards. This effort can be realized through various strategic steps, such as making the right decisions, SWOT analysis, compiling quality improvement programs, implementing transparency, involving school residents and the community, effective budget management, and transformation towards a quality-conscious culture. Education itself is a process that aims to optimally develop all the abilities possessed by each student so that they can be used as capital to face various lives in the future.
