Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the causes of the problem of economic contraction and economic inequality in the Bengkulu and Kepulauan Riau provinces. The type of data collected is only sourced from secondary data, namely from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (2022) and data from literature or libraries through the documentation method and literature study. Data analysis was carried out through statistical analysis methods and qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed that the Pearson Correlation between economic growth and economic inequality was 0.696 (in Bengkulu) and 0.689 (in the Kepulauan Riau). The trend of economic growth and economic inequality in both provinces is decreasing. Bad influence (backwash effect) in the form of a global economic recession (economic downturn) and the case of the Covid-19 pandemic (2019 – 2020) are considered to be the cause of economic contraction in the form of a decrease in economic growth (the extreme occurred in 2020, with -0.02 in the provinces of Bengkulu and -3.80 in Kepulauan Riau province). The trend of economic inequality (measured by the Gini index) which has decreased from year to year is considered a form of an anomaly because it is considered contrary to the decline in economic growth at the same time.

Abstract

International arbitration awards in practice do not always run smoothly in carrying out their executions, so there is a need for affirmation of regulations both fundamentally or the principles and regulations. That is the background why this needs to be studied. So the legal issues in the research are: How is the power of the executive principle in international arbitration decisions in terms of the Regulation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1999 concerning Procedures for Implementing Foreign Arbitration Awards? The problems that arise in carrying out the execution of foreign arbitration awards in Indonesia?. This study uses a normative juridical research method using a doctrinal legal approach, which analyzes laws and regulations, legal theories, doctrines, legal principles, which are analyzed in the form of descriptions. The results of the study show that: basically the legal force of an international arbitral award which is final, binding and legally binding remains the same as a court decision that has permanent legal force. What makes the difference is that an international arbitral award does not have executive power before the award is registered and requested for executorial fiat at the Central Jakarta District Court. The problem that often arises in Indonesia is the use of reasons for decisions that are contrary to public order (public policy) to refuse the execution of decisions. So that in such circumstances the international community sees it as a legal uncertainty.

Abstract

The village is part of the government structure in the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Continue to receive attention in the dynamics of nation-building. Therefore, building a village means building the future because the majority of Indonesia’s population lives in villages. So from that, the most important thing to do is the orientation of the stakeholders in the village and all stakeholders must have one orientation. From 2015 to 2019, village funds that have been launched have reached 257 trillion rupiah, and from 2019 to 2025. The government is determined to allocate up to 400 trillion rupiah to all villages in Indonesia. Therefore, now the village has become an ”altar” of development as well as an economic power. This is in line with the development program outlined by President Joko Widodo’s administration, namely Indonesia-centric development. This means that development is equitable / sustainable (sustainable). That is an important dimension of development in the village which is currently taking place very dynamically with all aspects of its development. The village is an integral part of national development based on Pancasila and the state constitution as the ideals of the founding fathers of the nation.

Abstract

A classic environmental phenomenon afflicts communities around mountainous forests in Indonesia. Needs institutional management to achieve a prosperous life based on environmental conservation took place in the people as inhabitants hold a potential risk, bearer subject of 'deforestation and degradation or, in contrast, acts as a conservation agent of 'reforestation and revitalization' in the capacity of forestry landfill. This non-positivistic qualitative study revealed the unique actions of "institutional and agroforestry" actors. The approach takes a paradigm that places forest communities as the research subjects. These main subjects feel and then deal directly with all forestry problems regarding deforestation and land degradation. Those forest people who live and depend on forests need attention and social justice. The research process includes tracking history, organization, and interaction between or among the groups of forest farmers in their institutions. The authentic findings of this study are: It needs a real activity, norms and ethics for the business process. So it can foster a synergy of positive externality values in maintaining the traditional forest conservation rules. Furthermore, developing them suits the concept of agroforestry as productive farming in a sustainable environment and adaptive to the character of the forest's natural behaviour.

Abstract

Effective machine maintenance is key to ensuring productivity and operational efficiency in the industrial sector, where although preventive maintenance has become the standard, technological developments are now introducing more advanced predictive maintenance strategies, but a comprehensive comparison of the effectiveness of these two approaches in improving machine performance is still limited. This study aims to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of the efficacy of preventive and predictive maintenance methods, especially in the manufacturing industry, through a literature search in Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE Xplore databases with related keywords, where empirical studies comparing both methods and their impacts on machine performance, including availability, reliability, and maintenance costs, are included. Meta-analysis was used to measure the difference in effectiveness between the methods, with study quality assessed using the AMSTAR checklist. The results showed that of the 25 studies that met the inclusion criteria, predictive maintenance was shown to be more effective in improving availability than preventive maintenance (effect size = 0.75, 95% CI: 0.60-0.90, p < 0.01), where factors such as cost, technology level, and machine type influenced the selection of the optimal maintenance method. This systematic review indicates that predictive maintenance is more effective in improving machine performance than preventive methods. However, the choice of the optimal method must be tailored to the specific industry context, and these findings are essential for decision-making in industrial maintenance management.

Abstract

Attempts are made to develop quality human resources through the education sector, both school education and education outside of school, because education cannot be separated from producing superior quality Human Resources (HR). This can be done by maximizing human resources so that they can continue their education by fulfilling and adding new knowledge and new experiences at the Higher Education (PT) level. However, the facts on the ground show different things, influenced by several factors. This study aims to determine the effect of academic achievement, parental income and work expectations on the interest in continuing their studies PT in high school students. The ex-post facto research method was used, and questionnaires and documentation were collected. High school students are used as the population. The dependent variable is the interest in continuing their studies at PT, while the independent variables are academic achievement, parental income and work expectations. How the data analysis techniques, as well as their influence in detail, will be discussed

Abstract

Social pedagogy is a holistic approach to experiential learning, focusing on interaction, joint activities, and relationships. Social pedagogy offers paradigms for informal and non-formal educators, focusing on education for sociality. Pedagogy involves learning, teaching, and development influenced by cultural values. It differs from informal education and community learning and development. Recognizing the significance of informal education, group work, and community organization and development as practices informs social pedagogy. The current social and economic instability has exposed large pockets of disadvantaged or socially excluded people. Social policies have not effectively integrated these individuals. Community education, a pedagogical intervention, aims to improve the quality of life and well-being, particularly for those in social exclusion, and promote social cohesion. This is achieved through increased participation, empowerment, co-responsibility, and social awareness.

Abstract

Organic fertilizers increase plant growth and yield by improving soil properties. Judging from the physical properties of the soil, organic fertilizer can increase the soil's ability to hold water, thereby increasing plant access to water. This research aims to discover how to make organic fertilizer from rice husks and apply it to vegetable plants. Counseling, training, implementation, and program evaluation are the methods. The research results showed that fermented rice husk organic fertilizer was applied directly to various vegetable plants previously planted in the nursery. Several vegetable plants, including chili and eggplant, are sown in polybags. Plant growth in polybags using organic planting media is quite good because the soil properties improve from the organic fertilizer provided. Improving soil properties means improving physical, chemical, and biological properties. Exciting things were discovered from this research. The facts and how alert farmers were when the main ingredients for making fertilizer were very scarce to obtain will be discussed

Abstract

Considering its vital role, it is appropriate for a government institution to carry out a mechanism for maintaining human resources by paying attention to the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of the state civil apparatus itself. OCB is very necessary because it can increase organizational effectiveness, because OCB is able to influence social aspects in government institutions, such as teamwork, communication and other interpersonal skills. This research aims to build a conceptual and empirical model by analyzing and proving the influence of Transformational Leadership, Placement, Toxic Workplace Environment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable in Civil Servants in Lahat Regency. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach. The model used in this research is a causality model to test the relationship between variables in a model, both between indicators and their constructs and the relationship between constructs.[2] The results of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis show that Transformational Leadership has a significant effect on increasing OCB; Placement has a positive effect on increasing OCB; Toxic Workplace Environment has a significant effect on increasing OCB; Transformational Leadership through job satisfaction has a significant effect on increasing OCB; Placement through job satisfaction has a significant effect on increasing OCB; Toxic Workplace Environment through job satisfaction has a significant effect on increasing OCB.
