Abstract

The school’s culture, encompassing norms and traditions, plays a pivotal role in shaping student behavior and fostering discipline. Integrating spiritual values into the school culture holds significant potential to enhance student discipline while simultaneously shaping their moral and ethical character. This study examines how a school culture rooted in spiritual values can contribute to improving student discipline, mitigating negative behaviors such as disobedience and bullying, and fostering a conducive learning environment. This research adopts the Library Research method, which involves the systematic collection and analysis of relevant literature, including books, journals, theses, and previous studies. Data were sourced from reputable academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest, with a focus on exploring the interplay between school culture, spiritual values, and student discipline. The key findings reveal that the consistent application of spiritual values in both academic and extracurricular activities positively influences student behavior, enhances their adherence to rules, and strengthens personal commitment to ethical principles. The study concludes that transforming school culture through the integration of spiritual values is an effective strategy for fostering student discipline and character development. Achieving this transformation requires the collective support of all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents, as well as ongoing evaluation to ensure its sustained success. The findings offer valuable insights for educational institutions seeking to design programs that embed spiritual values into their culture to nurture disciplined, responsible, and morally upright students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore learning strategies in religious education to foster spiritual values among Generation Z, a cohort characterized by their deep connection to digital technology. The research method employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach, integrating data from various recent scholarly literatures. The results indicate that technology-based learning strategies, experiential learning, gamification, and value-based education are effective in enhancing spiritual awareness, empathy, and ethical behavior in students. Teachers play a critical role as spiritual role models, while relevant, real-life learning can overcome Generation Z's low interest in religious values. However, implementing these strategies requires technological support, teacher training, and the integration of religious values with contemporary issues. The study recommends enhancing teacher competencies, developing spiritually-based curricula, and fostering collaboration between educational institutions and communities to strengthen the application of religious values in students' lives.

Abstract

This research discusses the integration of leadership strategies with religious values in educational management, particularly within multicultural educational institutions. The aim of this study is to identify how the implementation of religious values in leadership can enhance the quality of education, promote harmonious relationships among community members, and overall institutional success. Through a literature review approach, the study examines various literature related to religious-based leadership, including principles of justice, integrity, and care, as well as the challenges and successes of such integration. The results indicate that leaders who integrate religious values into their leadership strategies can create a more inclusive, harmonious, and productive educational environment. Additionally, the success of this integration can be seen in improved educational quality, higher satisfaction among students and staff, and increased community participation in school activities. However, challenges such as differences in religious values and resistance to change remain obstacles that must be addressed through interfaith and intercultural dialogue. This research concludes that the integration of religious values in educational management not only enhances the effectiveness of educational organizations but also strengthens social relations within the school community, providing a significant contribution to institutional success over the long term

Abstract

The development of a curriculum based on spiritual character is crucial in improving the quality of learning in the digital age. In the context of education increasingly influenced by technology, there is a challenge to ensure that students are not only academically intelligent but also possess strong moral and spiritual character. This study aims to examine the importance of integrating spiritual character values into the education curriculum and the wise use of technology to support holistic learning. The method used in this research is library research, which involves a literature study from various sources, including books, articles, and journals related to character education, spiritual character-based curriculum, and the use of technology in education. The spiritual character-based curriculum is designed to shape students who are not only competent in academics but also possess noble morals, empathy, and social responsibility. Through this approach, technology can be used as an effective tool to convey positive character values, such as through digital platforms, educational apps, and social media that are relevant to the lifestyle of today's students. The expected outcome of this curriculum development is to create a generation with a balance between intellectual intelligence and the strengthening of spiritual character, which in turn can help students face increasingly complex global challenges. As part of educational reform, the implementation of a spiritual character-based curriculum needs to be a priority in various educational institutions in Indonesia to ensure that education focuses not only on academic aspects but also on the formation of students' morals and character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving organizational culture in religious and multicultural-based educational institutions. The primary focus of this research is to identify the key elements in the application of TQM, including effective leadership, staff involvement, process orientation, resource management, continuous improvement, and data-driven approaches. The research method used is a literature study by examining various sources related to the application of TQM in education. The findings indicate that effective TQM implementation can enhance educational quality by strengthening organizational culture that is inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable. Effective leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring the integration of multicultural and religious values into institutional policies, while staff involvement in decision-making and resource management increases commitment to educational goals. Additionally, continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle has been proven to help educational institutions adjust policies and procedures to support diversity. The data-driven approach and performance measurement also show significant success in achieving the desired educational goals. This study concludes that the application of TQM principles in religious and multicultural-based educational institutions can create a more inclusive learning environment and improve educational quality sustainably.
