Abstract

Kecamatan Ternate Selatan merupakan suatu wilayah yang memiliki kawasan hutan dengan potensi terjadinya evapotranspirasi di wilayah tersebut. Khususnya di Ternate Selatan, kepadatan penduduk 3.570,18 per km2 (BPS, 2024). Sedangkan luas hutan di Kecamatan Ternate Selatan adalah 118.86 Ha atau 7% dari total luas wilayah kecamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju evapotranspirasi berdasarkan luas hutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan data sekunder sebagai data awal yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Ternate dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan evapotranspirasi formula Penman. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tekanan uap jenuh diperoleh 38,605 mbar, tekanan uap aktual sebesar 30,74 mbar, nilai efek radiasi diperoleh sebesar 0,49 mm/hari. Adapun radiasi bersih yang diperoleh sebesar 995,41 (MJ/m2/hari) dan didapatkan rata-rata laju evapotranspirasi di kecamatan Ternate Selatan dengan luas hutan 118.86 Ha sebesar 778.65 mm/hari.

Abstract

Research on Identification of Bamboo Types and Distribution in Tubo Village, North Ternate City the aim of knowing the types and distribution of bamboo in Tubo village. The research method used in this study is the transek method with purposive sampling technique, which is exploring plantations in Tubo Village that have been identified as having bamboo species. Research data were analyzed descriptively in the form of tables and figures. Data that has been collected in the field is then explained or described in sentence form. The results showed that in Tubo Village, North Ternate City, 4 (four) types of bamboo were found consisting of 4 (four) different genus namely Gigantochloa, Dendrocalamus, Bambusa, and Schziostachyum. Of the types of bamboo found come from the Poaceae family. The distribution pattern of bamboo plants in Tubo Village is irregular (Random) this can be seen from the difference in the distance where bamboo plant species grow with the river body The pattern of bamboo distribution is depicted in a distribution map by photographing to find out the coordinate points using a camera times camp at the location where bamboo is found. Abstract

Komoditas hasil hutan bukan kayu (HHBK) merupakan sumber daya hutan yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif dan berperan penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar hutan. Komoditi (HBBK) yang dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pendapatan masyarakat salah satunya tanaman kemiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usaha tani kemiri di Desa Sambabo, Kecamatan Ulumanda, Kabupaten Majene, sekaligus mengidentifikasi potensi pengembangannya untuk mendukung perekonomian lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan rata-rata yang diperoleh usaha tani kemiri adalah sebesar Rp. 16.079.000/tahun.Usaha tani kemiri berpotensi menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan utama masyarakat Desa Sambabo, yang dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi ditingkat lokal.

Abstract

Tourism activities in forest areas can potentially disrupt the balance of forest ecosystems. The existence of tourist visits needs special attention in terms of the environment. At a certain time when environmental conditions have exceeded their carrying capacity, there will be instability in environmental conditions that have an impact on environmental damage. The purpose of this study is to determine the carrying capacity of ecotourism in Mentari Ocean View in supporting tourism activities, analyze the potential of Mentari Ocean View ecotourism in achieving sustainable tourism, and formulate a strategy for the development of Mentari Ocean View ecotourism. The research methods used are primary surveys and secondary surveys. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results obtained in the study are that the value of the physical carrying capacity, real carrying capacity, and effective carrying capacity of Mentari Ocean View has not been exceeded, the assessment of the ecotourism potential of Mentari Ocean obtained an overall potential value index of 86.73% which means that it is high or suitable for development, the main priority of the development strategy is the environmental aspect centered on controlling environmental damage and utilizing the potential of natural resources, the second economy is centered on increasing business opportunities and increasing ecotourism branding, and the third is social, which is centered on improving the quality of human resources and local government support..

Abstract

The Cokro Spring Object still tends to be directed towards mass tourism where this tourism has a strategy to accelerate tourist visits through tourism products that are popular with visitors without considering all the potential that will occur so that there is the potential for environmental problems. Therefore, research is needed related to the Environmental Carrying Capacity and Tourism Sustainability Status as a basis for determining the development strategy of the Cokro Spring Object. The purpose of this study was to determine the environmental carrying capacity of the Cokro Spring Object Tourism, to determine the sustainability status of the Cokro Spring Object Tourism, and to determine the development strategy of the Cokro Spring Object Tourism. The research method used primary data collection in the form of observation, questionnaires, and interviews, while secondary data was in the form of journal and document literature studies. Data analysis used the Cifuentes Method to calculate the carrying capacity of the tourism environment, the Rap-Tour Method (Rapfish Modified) to determine the status of tourism sustainability, and SWOT Analysis through IFAS and EFAS calculations with the results of the grand strategy graph quadrant for the basis of tourism development strategies. The results of the study showed that the value of the physical carrying capacity was 1958 people/day, the real carrying capacity was 243 people/day, and the effective carrying capacity was 207 people/day. The large value of PCC>RCC>ECC means that the Cokro Spring Tourism Object can still be developed. The results of the multidimensional Tourism Sustainability Status are included in the Sustainable Enough category with an index of 70.9301%. The Cokro Spring Tourism Object Development Strategy is located in quadrant I, the S-O strategy is carried out by increasing the intensity of tourism promotion, establishing cooperation with the tourism office and the private sector through the addition of educational tourism activities or attractions, involving local communities through the creation of integrated tourism packages, and maintaining the condition of natural water resources in tourism development.

Abstract

Abstract People of Balla Tumuka Village, Mamasa Regency have a tradition of traditional medicine using plants originating from forest areas to cure various diseases. The tradition of traditional medicine by the community has been passed down from generation to generation and is supported by natural resources found in the Balla Tumuka Village forest. This study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants and how they are used by the people of Balla Tumuka Village. The research method is descriptive exploratory with in-depth interview data collection techniques on 43 respondents. The results of the study found that there were 17 types of plants used by tje community for treatment, including Ageratum conyzoides, Hyptis capitata, Spatholobus ferrugenus, Agathis dammara and others. The parts of the plant used are leaves, stems, roots, fruit, sap and tubers. The processing method is by boiling, burning, pounding and eating directly. Diseases that can be treated such as cuts, ulcers, diabetes, coughs, cholesterol. Keywords: ethnobotany, Balla Tumuka forest, traditional, medicinal plants.

Abstract

Trees are said to be healthy if they can carry out physiological functions and have an ecological ecology from various disturbances. The decline in tree health can be seen based on the condition of tree damage. This study aims to determine the health condition of trees and the type of damage in the Burung Bidadari Area, South Jailolo District, West Halmahera Regency. The study was conducted in September-October 2024. The method used is FHM (Forest Health Monitoring). Observations were made in two different clusters, namely cluster 1 Block A2 (production forest), cluster 2 Block A3 (protected forest). The level of tree health was analyzed according to the level of damage calculated based on the TLI and TDLI categories. Based on the results of the study, there were 3 families, 3 types of trees. There were 9 types of damage, namely Konk, growing konk, growing fruit with a total of 1 case. Open wounds with a total of 1 case. Resinosis/gymosis with a total of 2 cases. Termite nests with a total of 1 case. Loss of dominant tip, dead tip with a total of 2 cases. Broken or dead branches with a total of 7 cases. Damaged leaves, buds or tuna with a total of 13 cases. Leaves with non-green fruit with a total of 17 boxes. The results of the Tree Level Index (TLI) determine that cluster 1 is included in the healthy class (0≤5) and cluster 2 is included in the healthy class (6-10).

Abstract

Patanyamang Village, located in Camba District, South Sulawesi, is an area with a high potential for landslide risks. One of the disaster mitigation efforts carried out is mapping the distribution of bamboo plants as soil-retaining vegetation. This activity was conducted through a community empowerment approach with the Forest Farmers Group (KTH) in Patanyamang, utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. The GPS introduction training was led by practitioners from Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, followed by bamboo coordinate data collection involving local community members.The activity was divided into three groups based on hamlets, namely Mangai Hamlet, Bontotanga Hamlet, and Laelbata Hamlet. Each group was trained to use GPS devices to identify bamboo locations in their respective areas. The data collection results showed that the Mangai Hamlet group obtained 17 coordinate points, the Bontotanga Hamlet group obtained 8 points, and the Laelbata Hamlet group obtained 13 points. The use of GPS technology proved effective in mapping the distribution of bamboo, serving as an initial step in landslide disaster mitigation in the area. However, these coordinate points only reflect bamboo locations that are directly accessible. To acquire a more comprehensive distribution dataset, further analysis using satellite imagery or remote sensing is required. This activity provided benefits in enhancing the community’s capacity, especially in GPS technology utilization, and raised awareness of the importance of bamboo conservation as part of disaster mitigation efforts. Abstract

Abstarct The impact of various forestry policies on land management and conflict resolution in North Maluku, Indonesia. This research highlights significant regulatory measures and their impact on social forestry schemes, such as Village Forests, Customary Forests, and Community Forests. The study in Moya Village, Ternate, reveals challenges in forest management and utilization, emphasizing issues such as land use conflicts and inadequate support for local communities. As well as the issues social forestry institutions and related agencies in the area face. This study underscores the need for effective conflict resolution strategies and increased field support to minimize disputes. There are strategic steps that must be taken to minimize both vertical and horizontal conflicts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on stakeholders involved in forest management, and employs snowball sampling. This study shows that while social forestry policies facilitate legal access to forest management, their implementation often lacks adequate direction and support, leading to conflicts and inefficiencies. Two landowners privately manage the utilization and management of the forest area in Taman Moya. Regulations had previously been issued regarding establishing the forest area as a social forestry scheme. Abstract

Ruang Terbuka Hijau merupakan suatu kawasan dimana penggunanya terbuka dan ditumbuhi berbagai jenis vegetasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Taman Nukila Kota Ternate. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode observasi langsung dengan melakukan pengamatan pada lokasi tersebut selama 15 hari pengukuran pada tiga ruang yaitu: vegetasi terbuka,vegetasi agak terbuka dan vegetasi tertutup untuk mengukur suhu udara dan kelembapan udara %. Serta perhitungan mengunakan metode Temperatur Humidity Index (THI) untuk mendapatkan nilai kenyamanan. Nilai rata-rata suhu udara pada vegetasi terbuka adalah 33,490C dan nilai kelembapan uara % sebesar 64,56 % sedangkan nilai berdasarkan THI atau indeks kenyamanan pada ruang terbuka tidak termaksud dalam kategori nyaman karna nilai rata-rata THI yang didapatkan di ruang terbuka sangat tingi dengan nilai sebesar 27,06 0C hal ini disebabkan kurangnya vegetasi pohon pada vegetasi terbuka. Nilai rata-rata suhu udara 32,64 0C serta nilai kelembapan udara % sebesar 63,96 % dan nilai THI atau indeks kenyamanan yang didapatkan pada vegetasi agak terbuka dengan nilai sebesar 26,13 0C nilai THI yang didapatkan termaksut kategori nyaman karena pada ruang agak terbuka di tumbuhui oleh beberapa vegetasi. Nilai rata-rata pada suhu 0C yang didapatkan sebesar 31,03 0C dan nilai kelembapan yaitu 70,68 % sedangkan nilai rata-rata THI atau indeks kenyamanan yang diperoleh sebanyak 24,79 0C termaksud kedalam kategori sangat nyaman karena pada lokasi taman nukila di vegetasi tertutup banyak di tumbuhi vegetasi pohon yang rimbun sehinga dapat menyerap panas yang di pantulkan oleh sinar matahari.
