Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Manajemen Bisnis, Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya. Dibutuhkannya branding program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya atau dapat disingkat menjadi MB PPNS secara lebih luas sehingga harus menghasilkan sebuah program kerja yang dapat mengekspansi sebuah branding jangkauan yang lebih besar, yaitu dengan mengundang pembicara – pembicara handal di bidang Bisnis Maritim yang merupakan identitas MB PPNS kemudian dikemas dalam kegiatan Seminar Nasional guna memfasilitasi KMMB dalam hal publikasi tugas akhir. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan MBMC, diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan audience di bidang Bisnis dan Maritim dan dapat memperkenalkan MB PPNS secara lebih luas ke seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. Selain itu, diadakannya kegiatan Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) , diharapkan dapat membantu proses penilaian akreditasi program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya serta meningkatkan minat mahasiswa tingkat akhir untuk mempublikasikan Tugas Akhir. Based on the AKHLAK survey results Internalization Index employee loyalty in marine service companies can be said to be low because loyalty to the company falls into the category of Low Implementation Index with a percentage of 33.5%. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of loyalty on employee performance. The sample in this study consisted of 137 permanent employees. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Hypothesis testing uses simple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing results show nilai p-value of the employee loyalty variable is 0 or p-value < 0.05. This means that employee loyalty has a positive and significant effect on employee performance in maritime service companies in Surabaya. Companies need to make efforts to foster loyalty so that they can improve performance.

According to Dock News data on repair projects throughout 2022 carried out at PT PAL Indonesia's Dock shows that the MT Ratu Ruwaidah repair project is the only project that has increased duration, which is 64 days. The purpose of the research is to find out the root cause of the increase in duration, evaluate the risks, and find out the recommendations for handling. Starting with the Fault Tree Analysis method to obtain the Minimal Cut Set of the root cause of the increase. Furthermore, determining the Minimal Cut Set as a failure mode for Severity, Occurrence and Detection assessment by respondents to be processed in the Failure Modes, Effect and Criticality Analysis method. With the risk treatment matrix, failure modes can be identified how to handle them. The result of the research is that there are 23 events from the minimum cut set that are determined as failure modes. In the processing of the Failure Modes, Effect And Criticality Analysis method, the Pareto diagram stage obtained only 13 priority event/failure mode codes. As a result, the 13 failure modes occupy the colors red (prevent and mitigate), orange (mitigate) and yellow (prevent) in the risk treatment matrix.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Media Marketing and Brand Image on Customer Response at Umana Bali, LXR Hotels and Resorts, following their rebranding. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive causal research type. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to customers who follow Umana Bali’s Instagram accounts. The findings reveal that Social Media Marketing and Brand Image have a significant impact on Customer Response. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that these two variables simultaneously contribute significantly to the variability of Customer Response. These findings emphasize the importance of social media marketing strategies and brand image management in creating a positive customer experience. This study provides practical insights for the hospitality industry, particularly Umana Bali, to continuously optimize digital marketing strategies and strengthen brand image to enhance customer loyalty and purchase intent. Suggestions for future research include exploring new social media platforms and conducting comparative studies with other companies to examine broader effectiveness.

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment on employee performance through work discipline at one of the shipyard companies in Surabaya. The company faces performance problems that are thought to be caused by a less structured work environment. This study aims to analyze how these factors affect performance through work discipline. This study used questionnaires and interviews to collect data from 136 employees through simple random sampling. Instrument quality assessment was carried out using the outer model test, while hypothesis testing was carried out through the inner model method. The results showed that the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance. The work environment does not have a positive effect on work discipline. Work discipline is not proven to have a positive influence between employee performance and work environment variables. These results indicate the importance of improving the work environment to improve employee performance.

Single Point Mooring (SPM) is a system used to connect tankers with offshore installations to move oil or gas from ships to land. Therefore, SPM must be able to operate in good condition by carrying out routine maintenance. Surabaya Shipyard often receives requests for SPM repairs, but the risk level is often at a dangerous risk. This study aims to determine the right mitigation in overcoming the risk of SPM overhaul using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to get the highest risk (RPN) and the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method which is useful for determining the factors that cause damage to the system. Based on the results of the study, 5 top events were obtained which were the priority risks in the overhaul process. From the 5 top events, 14 basic events were obtained which were the root cause of the failure of the SPM overhaul and mitigation must be carried out immediately so that the risk can be overcome and does not cause losses to Surabaya Shipyard.

The productivity of container loading and unloading at the dock is influenced by the utilization of time, including both idle time and not operation time. The productivity of a dock is also a benchmark for determining the success of loading and unloading activities. High idle time and not operation time have disrupted the productive activities of the dock. The high ineffective time results in many ships having to dock longer than planned. This study aims to analyze the impact of idle time and not operation time on loading and unloading productivity (BSH), specifically at the international dock of a stevedoring company in Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative method with data from December 2023. The data collection method used is documentation of internal company data from the stevedoring company in Surabaya. The sampling method used is saturated sampling with a total sample of 85 ships. The analysis methods used in this research are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that the idle time variable has a positive and significant impact on loading and unloading productivity (BSH). In contrast, the not operation time variable does not have a substantial effect on loading and unloading productivity (BSH). Additionally, idle time and not operation time have a simultaneous significant impact on loading and unloading productivity (BSH)

Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic country, has abundant maritime economic potential. The capture fisheries sector plays a vital role in the national economy, especially in export and import activities. This study aims to analyze the influence of production volume and exchange rates on the export volume of major marine capture fisheries commodities. This research employs a quantitative causal approach using secondary data from the period of 2014-2023 (on a quarterly basis). The statistical technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that production volume and exchange rates have a significant simultaneous effect on the export volume of major marine capture fisheries commodities. Partially, the exchange rate significantly affects export volume, while production volume does not have a significant effect on export volume. This indicates that an increase in production volume is not the main driver of rising export volume. On the other hand, an increase in exchange rates makes prices more competitive in international trade, leading to an increase in export volume..

The stock price conditions from 2018-2023 have always experienced fluctuations and crashed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has made investors cautious when investing in stocks to avoid the risk of a stock price crash. This study aims to determine the effect of Trading Volume Activity and Debt Maturity Structure on Stock Price Crash Risk in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018-2023. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, and a sample of 10 companies that meet the criteria from 37 companies was obtained. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.finance.yahoo.com. The analysis technique used in this study is Panel Data Regression. The results show that Trading Volume Activity does not affect Stock Price Crash Risk. And Debt Maturity Structure have a positive effect on Stock Price Crash Risk.

The decline in the number of passengers and the volume of goods being loaded and unloaded using sea transport has resulted in a decrease in the revenue of companies in the sea freight transport subsector in Indonesia. From 2016-2022, 68% of companies in the sea transportation subsector in Indonesia had negative profits. The negative profit indicates that the company is experiencing financial difficulties that result in financial distress (FD). This study aims to see the FD condition and compare whether liquidity ratio affect financial distress conditions in the sea transportation sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2022. The sample was determined using the purposive sampling technique with simple linear regression as the analysis test. The study result showed that 17,5% of companies in Indonesia experienced FD and liquidity did not affect the FD of companies in Indonesia period 2016-2022 because liquidity represented by current ratio, only measures the company’s short-term capabilities.

Persaingan bisnis di era digital saat ini mengharuskan setiap pelaku usaha melakukan inovasi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memperluas pemasaran dan meningkatkan penjualan. Berdasarkan pengamatan, Cafe Kios Mera yang berada di dalam sebuah gang kecil dikawasan Kampung Heritage Kajoetangan Kota Malang pengunjungnya cukup ramai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh viral marketing dan e-word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian di Cafe Kios Mera Kajoetangan Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian explanatory research. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung kepada 100 orang dengan kriteria konsumen yang pernah melakukan pembelian dan pernah mengetahui konten di media sosial terkait Cafe Kios Mera. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya kontribusi variabel viral marketing dan e-word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian adalah sebesar 47,5% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 52,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan, variabel viral marketing dan e-word of mouth secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Viral marketing dan e-word of mouth secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Cafe Kios Mera.Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa viral marketing dan e-word of mouth berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian di Cafe Kios Mera Kajoetangan Kota Malang. Cafe Kios Mera diharapkan dapat memperhatikan waktu peluncuran informasi serta lebih aktif dalam menanggapi komentar konsumen di media sosial terkait varian produk, kualitas dan harga produk sehingga terdapat komunikasi antara penjual dan pembeli.
