Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat menerbitkan jurnal dalam bidang pengabdian yang berkaitan dengan praktik dan proses keterlibatan masyarakat. Edisi pertama diterbitkan pada bulan April 2024. Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat PDPHI diterbitkan empat kali setiap tahun pada bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan forum serta platform penerbitan bagi akademisi, praktisi dan perwakilan masyarakat untuk mengeksplorasi isu-isu dan merefleksikan praktik-praktik yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan keterlibatan. Jurnal ini adalah jurnal online peer-review yang didedikasikan untuk publikasi penelitian berkualitas tinggi yang berfokus pada kerangka konseptual, teori, implementasi, praktik, dan kebijakan terkait keterlibatan masyarakat. Sesuai dengan namanya, jurnal ini berfokus pada tren dan isu terkini mengenai keterlibatan masyarakat tanpa memandang afiliasi penulisnya. Selain itu jurnal ini berfokus pada tingkat kompleksitas dan keunikan yang tinggi dari segi masyarakat, wilayah, budaya, humaniora, dan aspek ilmu sosial terkait lainnya, isu terkait kesehatan masyarakat, pendidikan, dan perekonomian. Jurnal ini didukung oleh PDPHI (Perkumpulan Dosen Program Hibah Indonesia). Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat PDPHI diterbitkan oleh PDPHI. Jurnal ini berfungsi sebagai media penerbitan untuk berbagi wawasan rinci dari berbagai pemahaman dan praktik yang terkait dengan pelayanan masyarakat. Jurnal kami berfokus pada keterlibatan masyarakat, pengembangan masyarakat, layanan masyarakat, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan penjangkauan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian tergantung pada bidang Anda atau topik keterlibatan masyarakat (program yang telah dilakukan, percobaan, dampak program Anda, survei, wawancara, kuesioner, dll). Disarankan agar makalah penelitian didasarkan pada analisis dan interpretasi antara teori dan program pelibatan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penulis perlu menjelaskan permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat setempat dimana program tersebut dilaksanakan. Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat PDPHI adalah jurnal dengan akses terbuka dan pendaftaran gratis. Penulis dapat mendaftar secara online di website dan tidak dikenakan biaya untuk proses pendaftaran.

Abstract

The problem in Sakatiga Village, South Sumatra, is the transition of the harvest season. Community service activities are carried out in Sakatiga Village. The aim of the service is to create benefits and provide insight into the development of rice commodities that have sales value through the process of making rice commodity products so as to take advantage of the transition time. The technique for implementing this activity includes direct observation and interviews with the Sakatiga Village Head and several seasonal farming families. The methodology is carried out using lectures, discussions and experiential learning. The results of this service activity are very positive for the village community. This can be seen from 73% answering that the activity provided benefits and 27% answered adding insight to the people of Sakatiga Village

Abstract

Hydrilla verticillata, Pistia stratiotes (Apu-apu), and Eichhornia crassipes (Water hyacinth) are aquatic plants that grow abundantly in the waters of Yoboi Village, Lake Sentani. Currently, these aquatic plants have become weeds and are causing water transportation problems between villages. The aim of this service is to train the people of Yoboi Village to utilize the aquatic plants Hydrilla verticillata, Pistia stratiotes (Apu-apu), and Eichhornia crassipes (Water hyacinth) into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) using fermentation techniques with EM-4. The target of training activities is caregiver mothers. Training activities were carried out in two meetings. Based on the pre-test results, 80% of the mothers did not understand the benefits of fertilizer and did not understand how to make POC. The methods used are lectures, discussions and practice. The result of the training is that the caregivers understand and understand how to make POC from aquatic plant materials using the EM-4 fermentation technique. Through this service activity, the Yoboi Village community has changed the paradigm regarding Hydrilla verticillata, Pistia stratiotes, and Eichhornia crassipes, which are weeds and become useful plants

Abstract

The background to the problem of written work in Indonesia is that the quality of research is not yet high due to the large amount of plagiarism and research jockeying. Researchers are required to always prioritize originality of ideas, be able to use research supporting tools and master skills that support research activities. Therefore, research skills training is needed. The aim of this training is so that lecturers and researchers can have the ability to maximize applications to support scientific writing. This activity is aimed at lecturers and students with the aim of assisting in writing scientific articles to be published in international journals. The results of this activity are the ability to apply Mendeley software, avoid plagiarism using Paraphrase and using the Grammarly application. Abstract

The threat to Indonesian children, including elementary school children, is malnutrition. Knowledge about nutrition must be given from an early age, so that children are able to choose healthy foods for their body's health. Therefore, health education can be provided through educational videos. The aim of this activity is to provide healthy food education to elementary school children. The targets for this activity are students aged 5-12 years or students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 of elementary school. The method of implementing activities is carried out offline, namely in large classes. Before starting, participants are asked to complete a pretest and after education they are given a posttest. The results of the activities from 81 participants were 70 participants who completed the pre and post tests. After the education was carried out, participants' knowledge about healthy food increased. This can be seen from the increase in the average participant score from 8.2 to 9.2. This increase in knowledge is expected to prevent malnutrition and increase healthy eating behavior for elementary school children.

Abstract

This article discusses optimizing the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Margaluyu Village through digital marketing education. Margaluyu Village is a village rich in UMKM potential. The challenge is in marketing the products of the Margaluyu Village community so that they can run effectively. Therefore, it is important to provide education in digital marketing to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of UMKM. The digital marketing education introduced covers various aspects of online marketing, such as Social Media Marketing (Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok), Video Marketing and the largest marketplace in Indonesia (Tokopedia, Shopee, Bukalapak, Lazada, Blibli). Honey producers as UMKM are given training on utilizing digital platforms to expand market reach, increase brand visibility and increase sales. Apart from that, education is also needed about creating interesting content in accordance with consumer behavior analysis and market trends. This article concludes that digital marketing education can play an important role in empowerment, sales, increasing competitiveness with honey producers in other regions and contributing to village economic growth.

Abstract

Madiredo Village is one of the villages in Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java. Madiredo Village has a lot of potential natural products that support sales in the MSME sector. However, in its implementation there are obstacles faced by MSMEs in Madiredo Village, namely the marketing process of the products produced. Therefore, training is needed to improve the quality of sales on digital platforms. The method used is the FGD and Workshop method. The activity participants consisted of teenagers who were members of the Madiredo Village Youth Organization. The results of this activity are better E-commerce management than before, an attractive and more updated product packaging display, and a more trendy and complete online shop appearance

Abstract

Street Children are ironic evidence of the inequality of life, one of which is in the aspect of education. The existence of street children in the city of Malang continues to increase, in the last year there were 104 people. The existence of street children who do not have access to education is due to poor family economic factors, so they choose to drop out of school to work to meet their family's needs. There is a community that empowers street children in the city of Malang, namely Save Street Child this community provides educational services to street children but has not been able to develop moral character and 21st century skill competencies. This community service aims to build 21st century skills through internalization of moral values ​​and education that are integrated into the Pandawa 5 characters with a learn to shine approach. The implementation method for this community service activity was carried out on Sunday, June 11, 2024. There are 4 implementation methods used, namely 1) problem identification; 2) determination of community service objectives; 3) Preparation of operational design; 4) implementation and data collection; 5) data analysis; and 6) reporting and publication. The results of community service are able to improve the 21st century skill competency of street children in Malang city. Internalization of moral values ​​and education of street children in the 5 Pandawa figures through the learn to shine approach is able to provide religious morals, integrity, independence, nationalism, and mutual cooperation. In fact, this community service is an innovation in realizing proper educational access for street children in Malang city.
