Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Informatics subjects by using the Discovery Learning learning model in office application integration material in class X.10 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Maros. This research is classroom action research which has been carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects taken in this research were all students in class X.10 UPT SMA Negeri 1 Maros for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection technique in this research is (1). Observation, (2). Documentation, (3). Test. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Discovery Learning is effectively used in Informatics material, this was shown in cycle 1, the presentation of student learning completeness was 36.8%, and in the second cycle it increased to 82.4%. The activities of students and teachers are also based on the results of observations and the model used in research, namely Discovery Learning, which is at an effective level given to students.

Abstract

The use of the tutorial learning model in Informatics subjects is the focus of attention in efforts to create a learning environment that motivates and encourages active student involvement. This research aims to provide a holistic understanding of the effectiveness of using the tutorial learning model in class X.3 at UPT SMA Negeri 3 Maros. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The results of this research show that students' learning motivation in using the tutorial learning model is in the high category with an average percentage of 79.1%, so it can be concluded that the tutorial learning model is quite effective for use in informatics learning.

Abstract

Google sites is a platform in the form of a website that can be used in the learning process. This research was conducted to determine the influence of Google Sites on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 3 Maros, on ICT subject matter. The subjects of this research were 35 students. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest approach. Research data was collected using tests that were given twice, namely before the treatment (pretest) and after the treatment (posttest). So based on the results of data analysis, researchers know that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after studying ICT using Google Sites as media. It is shown that the average posttest score (93.42%) is greater than the pretest score (80.74%), there is an increase of 12.68%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Google Sites learning media has an influence on the learning outcomes of class X6 at SMA Negeri 3 Maros.

Abstract

Mathematics as a form of learning that has great meaning in life has a direct role that is efficient, effective, careful and rational. Student learning outcomes can be supported through the learning process carried out. The purpose of this writing is to analyze improving student mathematics learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in class X.1 UPT SMA Negeri 3 Maros. The research design used was PTK (Classroom Action Research). The results obtained in the percentage obtained in cycle I was 60.00% with an average value of 79.00. Based on this, it can be qualified as "Low". Meanwhile in cycle II the percentage obtained in cycle I was 100% with an average value of 99.20. Based on this, it can be qualified as "High". The conclusion explains that mathematics learning outcomes can be improved by using the PBL model. The material used as implementation material is Arithmetic and Geometry Detets. Individual learning outcomes can be interpreted as results resulting from students based on the learning process. Changes that occur within a person can be implemented through meaningful learning outcomes which include skills, skills, behavior, attitudes, understanding and knowledge.

Abstract

Even though they are dominant in the economic sector, it does not always make it easy for Chinese citizens to survive among local ethnic groups and they must always adapt to various changes in power. This can be seen by the presence of racism entering the Soeharto regime and peaking during the reform period in 1998 which was marked by the amount of violence experienced by the Chinese people. This research is limited temporally, namely from 1970 when development was experiencing very rapid progress during the New Order era until 1998 with the peak event, namely riots and violence experienced by almost all Tonghoa people in Indonesia. Apart from that, the spatial boundary used is Wonosobo City because it is a place for the Chinese community. The aims of this research are (1) to reveal the forms of relations with local communities in the lives of the Chinese people in the 1970s (2) to find out the role played by ethnic Chinese in the development of Wonosobo City during the New Order era (3) to reveal the riots in May 1998 and the racism that occurred happened to Chinese residents in Wonosobo (4) knowing about the efforts made to stop racism that occurred in 1998. Historical research methods were used to obtain data from primary and secondary sources. Primary sources were obtained through archives, newspapers and interviews with related parties. Meanwhile, secondary sources are obtained through literature studies in books, journals, articles and others related to the research topic. Even though during the New Order era there was racism and restrictions on the rights of Chinese citizens. In Wonosobo itself, no significant incidents occurred, including when it peaked in 1998. This is due to the high level of tolerance among religious communities and Wonosobo residents.

Abstract

Today's technology has had a significant impact in a variety of sectors, including education. Education today is not only done offline in the classroom, but also through interactive and collaborative online classes using a meeting app. The aim of this study is to explore a wide range of digital technologies that can be used in a constructivist-based learning approach to improve the quality of education in the digital age. The main issue in this study is the importance of the use of digital technology in the teaching learning process with a learning approach based on constructivism. The method used in this research is the study of literature or Library reviews, by collecting and analyzing various journals on digital technology, constructivism, and education. The result of this research is that digital technologies integrated into constructivist-based education can help improve the quality and efficiency of education. In conclusion, digital technology has the potential to improve the quality and efficiency of learning constructivism in the digital age, but should be used wisely and responsibly by teachers and pupils.

Abstract

Research on the problem based learning model on Pascal's law material aims to determine student learning outcomes in class XII. This research is classroom action research that uses Kurt Lewin's model or method. Kurt Lewin's classroom action research model consists of several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. In this research, two cycles of research were carried out. Model based learning is often called problem based learning. By providing problems, it is hoped that students can be active in searching for and finding solutions to the problems given. With problem-based learning, educators try to invite students to be active in learning activities. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that this learning experienced an increase in the percentage of learning completion and an increase in the class average. So the percentage of students who do not complete has decreased. The data results in cycle I showed that student learning completeness was 82.35% and in cycle II it rose to 88.48%. In cycle II the average student score was 76.47 and in cycle II the average student score rose to 85.25%. Meanwhile, the percentage of student failure to complete in cycle I was 17.65% and in cycle II it decreased to 11.52%. From the data results it can be concluded that the use of model based learning in Pascal's law material for class XII students can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang aimed to (1) determine the extent of improvement in physics learning outcomes of students after the implementation of guided inquiry learning models (2) determine the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning models assisted by video in improving physics learning outcomes. The population in this study was students of class X ATP (Plantation Agribusiness) 3 totaling 28 students with a sample of 25 students. The data collection technique used was a learning outcome test consisting of 3 essay questions. Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisted of 2 cycles. Data in this study were obtained from teachers (observers) and students through observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the research data, the average value of physics learning outcomes before the implementation of guided inquiry learning models in cycle 1 was 34.80 and after being taught using guided inquiry learning models was 66.38. The N-Gain analysis obtained was 0.49, which is in the moderate category, with an interpretation of the N-Gain score percentage of 49% interpreted as less effective. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, there was an increase with an average of 51.20 becoming 89.20 with an N-Gain score of 0.79 or 79% which is in the high category and effective interpretation. From the analysis results in cycles 1 and 2, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model assisted by video is effective in improving the physics learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to see whether there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement students. This study aimed to investigate the significant relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement of eight grade students at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang in the academic year of 2023/2024. This study belonged to quantitative descriptive method. The variables of this study were independent variable (X) learning motivation and dependent variable (Y) learning achievement. The population was all students in class A of eight graders at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang in the academic year of 2023/2024. 23 students were chosen as the sample of this research. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The product moment correlation was used as the data analysis technique in this study. The results of data analysis showed a value of Pearson Correlation was 0.575 with a significance value obtained of 0.00 <0.05, including the strong category. The finding showed that there was a significant relationship between learning motivation and the learning achievement in class A of eight graders at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang in the academic year of 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research reveals the process of redistributing teachers' needs at SMPN 16 Surabaya, highlighting its impact on the quality of learning experiences. This research utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research centers on the school environment as the focus of teacher redistribution. Primary data were gleaned from in-depth interviews, focused group discussions, and participant observations, while secondary data were garnered through document analysis, including school records and educational policies. The research outcomes offer valuable perspectives for education administrators, policymakers, and researchers, suggesting the potential implementation of efficacious practices for continuous enhancement in SMPN 16 Surabaya and analogous educational institutions.
