As a Regional Intematio1111l Airport, at the Ahmnd Yani Airport passenger and aircraft movementsoccur quite crowded e-uen; day. T11erefore, the smooth process of taking off and landing are the mainelements tlmt need attention. Airport facilities wlziclz would o-nsh would interfere with the smoothflight. Likewise, the frequent flooding that inundated the runway qt the Ahmad Yani airport inSemarang during high rainfall. Research about factors that differences in seniices of air transport has been done. Tire discriminationanalysis indicates tire differences and clnssifies the passengers into several obsenied groups. Tire result shows that tiremost differentiating factor in standard seniices are in-flight sen1ices (newspapers, magazines, video,etc), flight frequency/ shcedule, and punctuality.

Abstract

Economic growth contributes to the high demand for public consumption, including thepurchase of vehicles which resulted in an increase in the consumption of fuel (BBM). Fuelconsumption at the four-wheeled vehicles (R4) is highly influenced by various factors thatdetermine the level of efficiency of use. Appropriate and accurate information aboutconsumption and fuel efficiency is needed to determine the various efforts related to theenergy saving, particularly for private cars that dominate the traffic in urban areas. Thestudy was done by quantitative descriptive using data and information obtained directlyfrom the user's private cars in jabodetabek area (Jakarta, Bogar, Depok, Tangerang andBekasi). R4 vehicle types consume the most fuel of premium compared with other types offuels (diesel or pertamax). "Sedan" is a type of vehicle with the largest percentage and themost efficient use pertamax (1 :9,3) than the others. The cylinder volumes and the vehicleage influence on fuel efficiency. Pertamax is the most efficient type of fuel in its use comparedwith other (gasoline and diesel).

But on tl'le other hand tl'le number of charges thatcarried a negative connotation in tl'le port of economic ncti11ity because it resulted in a high cost whichis feared could hinder local economic developnzent.
