Abstract

Advances in communication and information technology need to be continuously adapted to various disciplines, including education. Nowadays, Photoshop is one of the most widely used editing software by designers to produce quality images. Factors that influence efforts to improve users' Photoshop learning abilities include teacher competence, learning facilities, learning environment, user learning motivation, and learning models used. To support Photoshop learning, it is necessary to design an attractive learning media. Computer-Based Instruction is one of the techniques commonly used to create a learning application, CBI is usually used for making interesting designs that apply human-computer interaction and how learning materials are made. And it can help users understand and further increase user enthusiasm and motivation to learn Photoshop. Macromedia Flash is a program used to design a learning application that describes the learning storyline. Photoshop CS 3 tutorial is designed using Macromedia Flash 8 which can be easily understood by users in the learning process.

Abstract

This research explores various reading learning strategies aimed at improving reading skills among students. By adopting a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study, this research identifies and analyzes the effectiveness of the SQ3R method, skimming and scanning techniques, as well as the application of critical and creative reading in educational contexts. Additionally, this research considers the role of technology in reading learning, highlighting how reading learning apps and software can motivate students and support inclusive and adaptive teaching. The findings from this study indicate that the integration of technology in reading instruction not only increases student motivation but also facilitates more personalized and effective learning. A combined approach between extensive and intensive reading has been proven to be effective in enriching reading comprehension and fluency. This study also emphasizes the importance of developing critical and creative reading skills to prepare students to face literacy challenges in the 21st century. The implications of this research offer valuable guidance for educators in designing and implementing comprehensive reading instructional strategies, which align with current educational standards and support the development of effective educational policies.

Abstract

Schools and communities are two inseparable things. The community is expected to support and participate in the development of the educational process in schools. The research aims to describe the pattern of relationships between schools and society. In this case, the one who is in charge of being a bridge between the school and the community is a Public Relations. One of the roles of a Public Relations is to foster good relations with the community. Public relations officers must have a good attitude and be able to solve problems wisely. The importance of school and community relationships can achieve school goals. One of the goals of a public relations officer is to create a good image for his school and be able to influence the community to work together to realize a better quality education. In addition, a public relations officer has a well-organized planning function so that the goals and perfect implementation can be achieved. In the implementation of public relations, of course, there are challenges, therefore solutions and strategies are needed by improving the relationship between student guardians and the school.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of educational preparation in America and Indonesia in creating an educated generation that is ready to face the demands of the 21st century. The 21st century is marked as an era of openness and globalization which presents fundamental changes in human lifestyles. Education in the 21st century must be able to adapt to these changes and prepare an educated generation with critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration skills. Through cooperation between America and Indonesia, the development of flexible curricula, project-based learning, the use of technology in learning, and collaboration between teachers can improve the quality of education and prepare the younger generation to face global challenges. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide useful insights in the development of 21st century education in both countries.

Abstract

The development of religious values is the ability of children to behave and behave. Religious development in children aged 5 to 6 years is a complex process and is influenced by various factors. Parents and educators have an important role in helping children to understand and practice their religious teachings. Islam has taught positive values that are useful in community life. The results of the analysis show that in Islamic teachings it has been explained how the process of developing religious values in early childhood can be applied correctly. The results of the analysis through discussion found 10 important methods for the development of religious values in children aged 5 to 6 years, including: storytelling, singing, poetry, tourism works, habituation, playing, outbound, role playing, discussion, and example. The findings have been discussed with various concepts and previous findings.
