Abstract

Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2018, the percentage of infants aged less than 6 months who get exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is 44.36%, this is a decrease compared to 2017 which is 55.96%. Likewise, based on provincial data, North Sumatra province amounted to 33.33%, and decreased compared to 2017, which was 49.83% (Central Statistics Agency. 2018). Nationally, the coverage of babies receiving exclusive breastfeeding in 2020 was 66.06%. This figure has exceeded the 2020 strategic plan target of 40%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Oketani massage on the prevention of breast milk dams in postpartum mothers in the working area of Tanjung Leidong Health Center, North Labuhan Batu Regency. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a Posttest only with control group design, where the study was divided into 2 groups, namely the intervention group and the control group. The research will be conducted May – July 2022. The population in the study was Mrs. Nifas on the first day in the Tanjung Leidong health center work area which amounted to 26 people for the April-July 2022 period, where the author divided the sample into two groups, 13 people as an intervention group and 13 people into a control group. The data analysis used is the Paired T-Test Sample Test, which is to determine the difference in treatment in two samples / treatment groups with the condition that the data is normally distributed. At the limit of the meaning of statistical calculations p < α= 0.05. The results of the Paired t-test analysis obtained p-value = 0.021 showed that oketani massage in postpartum mothers was effective in preventing breast milk dams. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as one of the complementary therapies in the prevention of breast milk dams.

The sampling technique in this study is Consecutive sampling. The results showed that basic immunization status was associated with stunting with a p value of 0.002<0.05; history of exclusive breastfeeding related to stunting with a p value of 0.007<0.05 ; while History of infectious diseases is not related to stunting with a p value of 0.658>0.05. It is expected for health workers in the Sigompul puskesmas work area to promote socialization and counseling about exclusive breastfeeding as well as basic immunization programs.

Abstract

In postpartum mothers, uterine involution is a very important process because mothers need special care, assistance and supervision in order to recover health as before pregnancy. If TFU is above normal then this indicates bleeding in the uterus, this is very dangerous if the blood comes out profusely then the mother loses a lot of blood so that there can be shock until death. Early mobilization can speed up the process of lowering TFU, improve blood circulation and prevent the risk of thrombophlebitis. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment study which aims to determine the effect of early mobilization on reducing fundus uteri (TFU) height in Post Partum Mothers at UPTD Bawomataluo Health Center in 2022. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test pre-test and post-test data fundus uteri high value with a Z value of 6,780 and a p-value of 0.001 where the p-value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), so we can conclude that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a difference between the height of the fundus uteri pre-test and post-test early mobilization Mrs. Post Partum. In conclusion, there is an effect of early mobilization on reducing fundus uteri (TFU) height in Post Partum Mothers at UPTD Bawomataluo Health Center. Based on the results of research conducted on the Effect of Early Mobilization on Decreasing the Fundus Uteri Height of Post Partum Mothers at UPTD Bawomataluo Health Center. The fundus uteri (TFU) high value of the pre-test for early mobilization is in the range of 10 cm – 14 cm with the majority of 14 cm, while in the pots-test for early mobilization is in the range of 9 cm – 14 cm with the majority of 12 cm. It is expected that health workers provide education and communication to improve the importance of early mobilization of postpartum mothers.

Abstract

One of the goals of the SDGs is a healthy and prosperous life with the achievement of improving health services towards universal health coverage, especially strengthening basic health services (Primary Health Care) (Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, 2020). Antenatal care is a way to detect early high-risk pregnancy and childbirth and can reduce maternal mortality and monitor the condition of the fetus (Hardiani, 2018). This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in the Nurhayani Midwife Practice Area, Kec. People's Village District. South Labuhan Batu, North Sumatra in 2023. The research population was 30 people from Balimbingan Hospital, Simalungun Regency in 2023. The sampling technique used was the simple total sampling technique. The data analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, the analysis used is the Chi Square (X2) statistical test with α = 0.05. The final results of this research are different from research conducted by Anisa (2019) regarding "Communication Relationships between Midwives and "Satisfaction Level of Pregnant Women in Receiving ANC Services at the Sei Jingah Community Health Center, North Banjarmasin". From the research results, the majority of midwives' communication with pregnant women was very good, amounting to 28 people (93.4%), 21 people (70.00%) said they were very satisfied and the results of statistical analysis using the Spearman rank test showed no significant relationship between midwife communication and The level of satisfaction of pregnant women in receiving ANC services at the Sei Jingah Community Health Center, Banjarmasin in 2015 was p= 0.358. There is a relationship between midwife communication and the level of satisfaction with ANC services in getting services at the Nurhayani Midwife Practice. The results of research using the Chi-Square test obtained a value of p= 0. .00 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship between midwife communication and the quality of antenatal care services and satisfaction of pregnant women.
