Abstract

The limited use of media in mathematics learning becomes one of the reasons we develop this research. Therefore, this research aim is to produce learning media in the form of mobile applications on Android or smartphones using Smart App Creator (SAC). As subject of research, students at SMP Negeri 1 Pinogaluman in grades VIIA and VIIB was carried out. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with modifications to the development stages of the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The feasibility of learning media is seen from three aspects, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness. Data collection techniques use interview instruments, observation, expert validation questionnaires, questionnaires and student responses, and test results. The product trial was conducted in two stages, namely a small-scale trial with research subjects of 5 students of class VIIB students and a large-scale trial with research subjects of 46 students of class VIIA and VIIB. The validity criteria for innovative learning media were obtained from the assessment of media experts and material experts with average scores of 4.30 and 4.40 (very feasible category). The product was given a practical value based on student responses with an average score of 91.53%, and an average teacher response of 94.49%. Innovative learning media is also considered effective based on test results with a one group pretest and posttest experimental design with an average pretest score of 54.57 and an average posttest score of 82.83

Abstract

This study examines whether the mathematical communitical skills of studens taught with the gallery walk cooperative learning model are effective, reviewed from the self-confidence of students in grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Botupingge. This Quasi Experiment research implements the treatment by level 2 x 2 design with a two-track analysis test and a Tukey test. The results obtain that the mathematical communication skills of students with high self-confidence in gallery walk cooperative learning are 79.86, and student with low self-confidence in direct learning are only 64.29. it can also be proven through tests with a significant level of 5% and df=33 showing tcount > tcount, 3.485, α=0.05, and ttable=2.042. in conclusion, the mathematics communication skills of student with high self=confidence that are taught by gallery walk cooperative learning are higher and more effective than students with low self-confidence that are taught by direct learning.

Abstract

Abstract: Physical Characteristics of the Tall Suwawa House and the Bele Li Tauda'a House in Gorontalo Province. This research aims to identify the physical characteristics of the Suwawa High House and the Bele Li Tauda'a House. The research method uses descriptive qualitative by means of a field survey which aims to explore and obtain facts and factual information about the condition of tall houses in the district. Suwawa district. Bone Bulango and Bale Li Tauda's house are in Kel. Pauwo district. Bone Bulango.. Field survey was carried out at the location in Kab. Bone Bolango and Gorontalo Regency in April – May 2023, starting with initial data collection followed by semi-structured interviews, field observations then structuring the data, as well as confirming the data with the reality in the field and the views of traditional leaders. The results of the research show that (1) that the physical characteristics of both are the same on the roof (2) the top part is triangular in shape with a second layer in the middle of the building roof. The conclusion from the research carried out is that the two buildings are still standing strong even though the buildings are no less than 100 years old because the shape of the facade is not influenced by other materials. The local purity of wood still dominates, which is a material chosen directly by local people and is maintained to this day.

Abstract

Salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang memiliki wilayah pesisir adalah Kabupaten Jeneponto. Bagi masyarakat Jeneponto, wilayah pesisir ini memiliki arti penting tidak hanya karena kekayaan keanekaragamannya namun juga karena aktivitas ekonominya, termasuk perikanan, budidaya rumput laut, dan rekreasi. Namun saat ini erosi pantai di Kabupaten Jeneponto sudah sangat parah. Sistem alam akan memburuk jika pencegahan abrasi air laut tidak dilakukan, sehingga mengubah garis pantai dalam prosesnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi rancangan bangunan keselamatan pantai yang akan dimanfaatkan di Pantai Tamarunang dan mencari alternatif penanggulangan yang akan dibangun. Proses analisis melibatkan pemilihan bangunan pengaman pantai pengganti dan perhitungan desainnya. Tembok laut atau penyangga beton heksagonal merupakan perlakuan dengan titik terbanyak menurut matriks yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memilih alternatif konstruksi keselamatan pantai. Namun dalam memilih perawatan pantai, perlu kembali mempertimbangkan berbagai kondisi di sepanjang pantai Tamarunang. Dari segi kesediaan masyarakat, selama tindakan pengamanan tidak menghalangi arus perahu yang membawa nelayan dan petani rumput laut, maka masyarakat boleh saja diberikan perlindungan di sepanjang pantai Tamarunang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1. Ketinggian tembok laut adalah 2,44 meter; 2. Batu yang digunakan untuk tembok laut memiliki berat 27 kg; dan 3. Diameter batu tersebut adalah 27 cm. Kata kunci: Pesisir, Abrasi, Buis Beton Segi Enam

Abstract

Driver behavior is the most dominant factor in accidents. Almost all accidents are preceded by violations of traffic signs. Through previous accident data, important and useful information can be known. The study aims to analyze two-wheeled motorbike riding behavior using Naturalistic Driving Study (NDS) and determine the influence of age and behavior of 150cc motorbike riders. Data taken from recordings taken by respondents and questionnaires. The results of the regression test to determine differences in age on motorbike rider behavior with a constant value of a = 196.03 show that this figure is a constant number which means that, if it does not involve age (X), the value of riding behavior (Y) is -5, 3956x. The regression coefficient is -5.3945. This figure is minus (-), which means that age (X) has a negative effect on driving behavior (Y).

Abstract

Bamboo is a plant that can be found around us, especially in rural areas. Bamboo is an environmentally friendly building material compared to conventional building materials. In addition to being easily accessible, cheap, and lightweight, bamboo also possesses considerable strength. There have been numerous studies on the use of bamboo, but in this research, bamboo is utilized as a substitute material for coarse aggregates. The planned compressive strength is for concrete with a compressive strength of K250 (20.75MPa) with substitution proportions of 30%, 50%, and 100%, which will be compared with normal concrete. In this study, it is expected to determine the proportion of substitution of coarse aggregates in concrete using bamboo. Based on the tests conducted, ranging from testing concrete-forming materials to compressive strength tests, the compressive strength obtained for normal concrete (0%) at 28 days is 26 MPa. Meanwhile, the compressive strength for concrete with a 30% substitution proportion is 26 MPa, 50% proportion is 13 MPa, and 100% proportion is 9 MPa. Thus, it can be concluded that the greater the percentage of concrete substitution, the lower the compressive strength obtained.

Abstract

Abstract: Building Lighting Intensity Performance: Case Study of Malang Creative Center. This research aims to determine the light intensity in the Malang Creative Center building and provide suggestions for solutions to rooms that function as places for creative economy activities with less light intensity. Creative activities require lighting to support user productivity in carrying out activities in buildings (Le et al., 2022; Matthew & Nico, 2023). Lighting in a building is influenced by several factors, including the size of the openings, the orientation of the openings, the use of materials and color in the space. The aim of this research is to find out and identify the intensity of light in several spaces which are a place for creative actors to carry out activities at the Malang Creative Center. By using a comparative method, light intensity data in several research object rooms will be compared with standard data or ideal light intensity for rooms that function as work spaces. Field measurement data was obtained from a direct measurement process carried out longitudinally from 09.00-15.00 WIB, while standard data or ideal light intensity for work spaces was obtained from literature studies. From the research process carried out, it was found that there was one room whose light intensity did not meet the standards starting at 09.00-15.00 WIB, while the other 3 rooms showed ideal values in the time range 09.00-13.00, but at 13.00-15.00 these rooms also show numbers that are not ideal.

Abstract

Abstract: Storage Optimization at PT. XYZ Through Class Blased Storage and ABC Classification. This research aims to make the process of picking up goods according to their type easier, so that the distance to transport materials is shorter than before. In addition, this placement allows each type of item to be stored in the spare parts warehouse, so that when it is picked up, the item can be fully used. This research collects data through observation, support and interviews. The results of blased class storage place items in groups according to their category type. Goods with fast movement, for example, are placed closer to the exit, and goods with slow movement, for example, are placed further to the entrance. workers during the material movement process. The results of the ABC classification are 19 types of goods in category A, 3 types of goods in category B, and 1 type of goods in category C. The ABC category is created by sorting all the frequencies of goods from the highest value, as well as calculating cumulative and frequency percentages. By comparing the initial layout with the proposed layout, data processing resulted in a total reduction of Rp. 6,733,000/month to Rp. 3,738,000/month. Therefore, it can be concluded that the problem of storing goods in the PT warehouse. XYZ can be solved using a storage optimization policy that uses the class blased storage method and ABC classification.

Abstract

Abstract : The Effect Analysis of the Median Road on the Performance at Nani Wartabone Road Section. The Nani Wartabone Road is a means of transportation that really supports the economic progress of the people of Gorontalo. The need for transportation is increasing. Transportation facilities are also increasingly diverse, including the median road. When the road widening was carried out on the Road, there were a lot of traffic jams, unstable and undirected vehicle speeds that made other drivers and the public uncomfortable. To anticipate this, the Gorontalo Provincial government made a median. The median is designed to reduce accidents, increase comfort, add to the beauty of the road and regulate traffic flow. To determine the effect of the median, we need the average daily traffic data and headway data before the median. This data was obtained from the Public Works Office of Gorontalo Province, data for 2022. From this data, the speed, current and density that occurred were calculated, then compared with survey data during the research that had been analyzed. Based on the data analysis, the median traffic speed is 31.21 km/hour .monday, 31.40 km/hour Tuesday, 31.43 km/hour Thursday and 31.16 km/hour Sunday. The density then after the median becomes 11.15 vehicles/km. It can be said that the media can affect the speed of flow and the average speed of traffic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bangunan pengendali sedimen di Sungai Pohu Kabupaten Gorontalo Provinsi Gorontalo dengan menggunakan Metode pada Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Kegiatan Operasi dan Pemeliharaan Prasarana Sungai Serta Pemeliharaan Sungai sesuai Surat Edaran Direktorat Jendral Sumber Daya Air Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat, Nomor: 05/SE/D/2016.Jenis penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Lokasi kegiatan inventarisasi adalah sepanjang Sungai Pohu mulai dari hulu sungai hingga hilir sungai yang bermuara di Danau Limboto. Deskriptif pada penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penjabaran dari hasil survei kinerja Bangunan Pengendali Sedimen yang dilakukan. Pengamatan Bangunan Pengendali Sedimen dilakukan dengan meninjau dari segi fisik, dan segi manfaat bangunan tersebut. Pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan segala informasi yang berkaitan dengan studi yang sedang dilaksanakan, yang diperoleh secara tidak langsung atau oleh pihak lain. Sedangkan data data sekunder dapat berupa catatan, hasil pengukuran, hasil analisis yang diperoleh oleh suatu instansi atau tim studi, juga buku- buku laporan proyek dan peraturan kebijaksanaan daerah.
