Abstract

Finding out how zigzag running games affect young children's gross motor abilities is the goal of this study. Researchers employed quantitative research, or pseudo-experimental methodology. The youngsters in group B at PAUD IT Auladuna 1 Bengkulu City comprised the study population. Using random sampling, 36 children from classes B2 and B5 made up the research sample. There was testing done on the data gathering method. This data analysis method applied the t test. As expected, during the teaching and learning process, the control class learning with body exercise center games had an average value of 70.00, but the zig-zag running game had an average value of 85.56.At a significance level of 0.05, the hypothesis test results indicate that tcount> ttable is 3.909> 1.691. This indicates that, in comparison to the control class, the experimental class receiving the treatment experiences a notable change in value. The findings indicate that group B early childhood students at PAUD IT Auladuna 1 Bengkulu City had improved gross motor abilities as a result of playing zigzag running games. It is recommended that (1) educators utilize it as a substitute for instruction to help early childhood students' gross motor abilities grow and (2) future researchers use it as an inspiration to conduct research and play other games to help kids improve their gross motor skills.

The researcher suggests that teachers preparing story books should be prepared more carefully and the selection should be more precise. The implementation of using the picture story book method should not be like lecturing. The atmosphere when telling stories can be brought into the story so that it is more enjoyable. Evaluations should be more varied to make it easier for teachers to assess. child. The implications of using the picture story method using books in forming characters who like to read in 5-6 year olds at PAUD Setia Pontianak. Abstract

In order to accomplish Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education for all, inclusive education for children with disabilities is a crucial problem. The purpose of this essay is to assess the adoption of inclusive education in Nigerian basic schools and analyze the research data that is currently accessible. A systematic review was conducted by examining various empirical studies on inclusive education in Nigeria, covering policies, data availability, and implementation challenges. The findings reveal that although some data on the education of children with disabilities exist, the implementation of inclusive education in Nigeria remains significantly limited. Key issues identified include inadequate supportive facilities, insufficient teacher training on inclusive education, and the minimal utilization of assistive technologies. The study also highlights a significant disparity in the provision of inclusive education services between the northern and southern regions of Nigeria. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of integrating existing research data to develop policies that support the implementation of inclusive education at the basic education level. Collaboration among the government, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and researchers is essential to improve access to and the quality of education for children with disabilities. By adopting a data-driven approach, Nigeria can accelerate progress toward SDG 4 and ensure inclusive and equitable education for all children

Abstract

This study examines the perception of teacher educators regarding the implementation of an inclusive early childhood education curriculum in Southeast Nigeria. Employing a descriptive survey design, a purposive sampling technique was used to select 327 teacher educators from two institutions, namely Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), and Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri (AIFUE). Data were collected using a validated questionnaire titled "Teacher-Educators Questionnaire on Inclusive Early Childhood Education Curriculum," which achieved a reliability coefficient of 0.81. Findings reveal that teacher educators generally perceive existing training programs as effective in preparing educators for inclusive practices, but identified significant barriers, including resource shortages, societal attitudes toward disability, and insufficient training on special needs education. Cultural attitudes were also found to influence the perception and willingness of educators to embrace inclusion. The study concludes that while teacher educators hold positive attitudes and a strong commitment toward inclusive education, there is a critical need for better resources, more comprehensive training, and policy reforms to overcome existing barriers. It is recommended that government and non-governmental organizations collaborate to address these challenges by providing resources, conducting awareness campaigns, and ensuring effective policy implementation to promote inclusive education.
