Abstract

This research is based on high learning motivation which is needed to increase the desire to learn in students. At SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak it was found that there were still students who were identified as lacking motivation in studying in class VIII A. This was characterized by students lacking interest in learning, not enthusiastic about participating in learning, lack of desire to do assignments well, students' environmental conditions are less supportive, they do not get appreciation if they get high grades and students do not have aspirations. The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using bibliocounseling techniques on the level of students learning motivation. This research uses an experimental research method in the form of Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample in the study was taken using a purposive sampling technique from a population of 34 students, namely 5 students who had low learning motivation. Based on calculations, the Pre-test result was 69.6 in the very low category and the Post-test was 101.4 in the high category. Next, the calculated T was obtained using the Paired Sample T-test, namely -10.577 with a Sig value. (2 tailed) 0.00 < 0.05 which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, and with an N-Gain score of 63.05%. So, it can be concluded that group counseling using bibliocounseling techniques is quite effective in increasing the learning motivation of class VIII A students at SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine: The Influence of Busy Book Media on Number Concept Recognition Ability in 5-6 Year Old Children at TK Islamiyah Pontianak Tenggara. The technique used in this research was a quantitative approach with an experimental research method, specifically using a pre-experimental design known as one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the study were all children in group B at TK Islamiyah Pontianak Tenggara, totaling 12 children. Sample selection was done using Purposive Sampling technique from the entire population, ensuring that the chosen sample met the predefined criteria to aid the research process. Data collection techniques included test, observation, and documentation processes. Descriptive data analysis was used to determine mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. Prerequisite tests conducted were normality test and hypothesis testing. The pretest results (before using the busy book) had an average score of 5.53, while the posttest results (after using the busy book) showed an average score of 9.20. Based on the significant level of 5% (2.106), the paired sample t-test analysis resulted in a calculated t-value (6.862) that was greater than the critical t-value (2.160), with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of using busy book media on the ability to recognize number concepts at TK Islamiyah Pontianak Tenggara.

Abstract

Saman dance has many uniqueness both from the movements and messages conveyed through verse. This study aims to examine the history and values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance, then the focus of research is the values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance verses. In this study, the author is interested in understanding how Saman Dance plays a role in spreading da'wah values in the Gayo tribal community by using qualitative descriptive research methods through literature study analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions from various articles and research data source books. By exploring the verses of Saman Dance, this study highlights some of the values of da'wah in Saman Dance. First, there are verses of praise to Allah and greetings to the audience as a form of respect. Second, there is a moral message conveyed through poetry, including the values of togetherness, courtesy, and gratitude. Third, there is a call to protect and preserve nature, in line with Islamic teachings on harmony between humans and their environment. Fourth, there is an encouragement to keep trying in the face of adversity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat keefektifan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Behavioral Contractdalam mengurangi perilaku membolos di SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pre-Test dan Post-Test Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu tehnik Purposive Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket membolos. Teknik analisis data dalam penelititian ini menggunakan presentase dan uji T-Test for Paired Sample. Pelaksanaan konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik Behavioral Contract dengan lima tahapan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konseling kelompok menggunkan teknik Behavioral Contract efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku membolos siswa, terbukti dengan hasil perhitungan uji T-Test for Paired Sample yang memperolah nilai t = 14,318 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 serta perhitungan Effect Size memperoleh nilai sebesar 7,617 >1,00 dapat disimpulkan pemberian perlakuan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik Behavioral Contract efektif dan sangat kuat untuk mengurangi perilaku membolos siswa SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak.

Abstract

This research is based on observation data and interviews with kindergarten teachers, which revealed a low level of environmental care behaviours among children. The observed behavior includes the children's lack of attention to wet and dry waste scattered around the kindergarten environment. Sensitivity to a clean environment is essential to achieving optimal learning and character development in children. This study aims to improve environmental care behaviours through the Trash Tracking game. The research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design of one group pretest-post-test. The subjects of the study were 17 children aged 5-6 years, consisting of 8 girls and 9 boys. Data were collected through observation with the same instrument related to environmental care behaviours administered during the pretest and post-test. The data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results showed that the Trash Tracking game, which is engaging and enjoyable, positively influenced the children's behavior toward environmental care. This game also helped children get accustomed to cleaning up waste inside and outside the classroom, as well as distinguishing between wet and dry waste. The children's awareness of preserving a clean environment improved, supporting a conducive and comfortable learning process both inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merangkul nilai-nilai keberlanjutan sejak usia dini. Dengan memasukkan pendidikan ekologi ke dalam kurikulum, TK Marie Joseph Pontianak memprioritaskan pembentukan karakter anak-anak sebagai pelindung alam. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah guru, staf dan orang tua murid TK Marie Joseph Pontianak. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan para guru dan orang tua murid dapat bahwa integrasi pendidikan ekologi dalam kurikulum melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan anak-anak. Melalui kegiatan bermain, pengamatan alam, dan partisipasi dalam kebun sekolah, anak-anak tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan ekologi secara teoritis tetapi juga secara praktis menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari hal tersebut dapat terihat dari Antusiasme anak-anak dalam kegiatan memelihara tanaman di sekolah dengan menyiram, menanam tanaman bunga dan beberapa jenis sayuran ,serta bergotong royong membersihkan halaman sekolah dan kelas. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan interaksi langsung dengan lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang keberagaman hayati dan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Transformational Leadership of the Principal in Implementing the Strengthening of Pancasila Student Profile Project at SMP Santo Fransiskus Asisi Sungai Pinyuh. The research adopts a qualitative approach. The study participants consist of 10 individuals, including 3 males and 7 females, selected using purposive sampling criteria. The participants include the principal, vice principals for curriculum and student affairs, administrative staff, teachers, and students aged 13–55 years. This descriptive research employs observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data collection instruments include observation guidelines, interview protocols, and document analysis. The data analysis process involves three stages: data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The main findings of this study indicate that the principal implements transformational leadership through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The primary challenges faced include human resource readiness, limited facilities and infrastructure, and a lack of support from parents and external parties.The strategies to overcome these challenges include enhancing teacher capacity through training and mentoring, optimizing local resources, increasing student motivation through appreciation and personalized approaches, and strengthening communication with parents and the community. In conclusion, the effective implementation of transformational leadership supports the execution of the Strengthening of Pancasila Student Profile Project, although additional support from all stakeholders is required. The implications of this study contribute to the body of knowledge on transformational school leadership, particularly in the implementation of the Strengthening of Pancasila Student Profile Project, as well as the challenges and strategies involved in its implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of supervisors in implementing academic supervision to improve the pedagogic competence of Pembina Batu Ampar State Kindergarten teachers. The focus of this research is on the role of supervisors in increasing teacher competency through academic supervision and the quality of education. The method used is a qualitative approach, data collection is carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by the Miles and Hubernes Model which consists of data condetation, data display, and conclusion drawing verification. The research results show that the role of supervisors in academic supervision is important to improve teachers' pedagogical competence, because supervisors can act as partners, innovators, consultants, and motivators. This role is carried out to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at the Pembina Batu Ampar Kindergarten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan game online terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian studi pengaruh (kausal komperatif studies). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 responden dari total populasi 137 peserta didik kelas VIII A hingga VIII D. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dengan alat pengumpul data berupa angket yang disebarkan secara langsung kepada peserta didik dan nilai rapor peserta didik semester genap. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tingkat penggunaan game online pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan persentase 64,53%, (2) Hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap masuk dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase sebesar 77,03%, dan (3) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan pengaruh game online terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap sebesar 32,2%. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan perhitungan regresi linier sederhana, diperoleh persamaan Y = 99,584 – 0,291X Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya Hₐ diterima dan H₀ ditolak, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan game online terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap.

Abstract

This study examines the tradition of reading Ratib al-Haddad at the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School, Situbondo, which has become an integral part of the spiritual and social life of students. Ratib al-Haddad, which consists of dhikr and prayers compiled by Imam Abdullah bin Alawi al-Haddad, serves as a means of getting closer to Allah and strengthening brotherhood between students. This reading not only has a spiritual, but also social dimension, contributing to the development of students' character, such as discipline, patience, and a sense of togetherness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to reveal the subjective meaning of the reading of Ratib al-Haddad for students, as well as how this tradition functions as a da'wah medium that transcends the boundaries of pesantren and becomes part of the religious life of the community. The results of the study show that the recitation of Ratib al-Haddad not only strengthens faith and spirituality, but also strengthens solidarity among students and strengthens social ties in the pesantren environment
