Abstract

This article aims to find out the conception of Justice formulated by the Supreme Judge which is in accordance with the spirit of reform and the juridical-normative thinking method that can be used in formulating the conception of Justice and the role of the Supreme Judge in supporting the realization of legal reform in Indonesia. The type of research used is Normative legal research, normative legal research is research that examines vague norms, conflicting norms and empty norms. Meanwhile, the approach used is a conceptual approach, a statutory approach. The results of this paper show that the concept of justice formed in the Supreme Court's decision is Unity Justice, which is formulated based on: the value of justice that grows and develops in society, the norms of justice and applicable laws and regulations, the interests of achieving the goals of state life, and the interests of the development of community life and the normative juridical thinking method (even coupled with empirical) is not able to formulate complete justice (unity justice), therefore it is added with a holistic and integrative thinking approach and the role of the Supreme Judge in unifying or harmonizing the various dichotomies of the views of the parties that often lead to prolonged forms of conflict through a holistic and integrative approach.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of interest among students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University in using quantitative research methods in writing their theses in 2024. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a documentation study approach on 161 student theses. The analysis results show that 37% of the theses used quantitative methods, 35% used qualitative methods, and 28% used development methods (R&D). These findings indicate that although quantitative methods are still the primary choice, there is a trend of increasing use of other methods that adjust to the complexity and needs of the research topic. This study provides important insights for advisors and study programs in designing more relevant and contextual learning strategies for research methodology.

Abstract

In research activities, it is important for a researcher to understand how to identify populations and select the right samples so that the data collected actually represents reality. In addition, the source of information used must also be completely reliable in order for research results to be valid and not misleading. In a digital age like today, the ease of access to information on the Internet brings new challenges. Much information is available, but not all of it comes from reliable sources. Therefore, this article discusses how populations, samples, and the credibility of information sources play a role in improving the quality of academic research. Using a library review approach from various journals and books published over the past five years, this article aims to provide a comprehensive and practical picture for researchers, particularly students and academics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi kesenian Gendang Beleq dalam kehidupan masyarakat Sasak di era modern, serta menelusuri transformasinya dari masa tradisional hingga masa kini. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnomusikologi dan antropologi budaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dan observasi lapangan, dengan sumber informasi meliputi buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dokumentasi, serta wawancara dengan narasumber terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesenian Gendang Beleq, yang pada masa lalu berfungsi sebagai musik pengiring pasukan perang, telah mengalami perluasan fungsi dalam konteks sosial budaya masyarakat. Saat ini, Gendang Beleq digunakan dalam berbagai upacara adat seperti pernikahan (Merariq), khitanan (Sunatan), pemotongan rambut bayi (Ngurisan), perayaan besar (Begawe Beleq), hingga ditampilkan dalam ajang festival budaya. Modernisasi dan perkembangan teknologi turut memengaruhi bentuk penyajian serta struktur musikal Gendang Beleq. Namun demikian, nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya tetap dipertahankan sebagai wujud kontinuitas tradisi. Dengan demikian, Gendang Beleq tidak hanya merepresentasikan simbol identitas budaya masyarakat Sasak, tetapi juga menjadi sarana adaptif dalam menghadapi dinamika perubahan sosial di era modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas ice breaking dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam bahasa Inggris. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Yaqin di kelas tersebut. Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajarkan berbicara dengan menggunakan Teknik Ice Breaking memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik daripada yang diajarkan berbicara tanpa Teknik Ice Breaking. Selain itu, ditemukan juga bahwa penggunaan ICE Breaking memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara mereka. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode Ice Breaking, khususnya Chain Storytelling, diidentifikasi sebagai metode yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Secara keseluruhan, ice breaking merupakan metode yang sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di sekolah. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi dunia pendidikan dan dapat digunakan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam keterampilan berbicara serta memberikan peluang yang luas untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar bahasa Inggris.
