Abstract

Seni sebagai estetika emosional telah mampu menunjukan eksistensinya dalam kontek ruang dan waktu. Estetika emosional dimaksudkan sebagai pendidikan emosi bagi setiap manusia. Melalui seni manusia dapat merasakan, merefleksikan kehidupan melalui estetika yang ditawarkan oleh setiap bentuk repetoar karya seni. estetika dapat diartikan sebagai nilai keindahan seni yang mampu membuat penikmat seni berada pada posisi penyadaran diri atas segala soalan hidup. nilai estetis sebagai bentuk drama menolak pernikahan dini tersebut dalam lakon Belas Me Maling terdapat tiga unsur, 1) unsur kesatuan (unity) yang memuat tentang, naskah lakon, tema, tokoh, pesan/amanat, setting/panggung, dan musik. 2) unsur Keutuhan (complexity) memuat tentang Naskah Belas Me Maling yang menawarkan konsep semi realis dengan bentuk seni simbolik, dan 3) unsur kesungguhan (infinity) memuat tentang naskah Belas Me Maling yang dinamis dengan struktur  adegannya yang ketiganya menunjukan bentuk penolakan terhadap pernikahan dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis nilai estetika adalah metode Monroe Beardsley dengan konsep kesatuan, keutuhan, dan kesungguhan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Naskah merarik kodek merepresentasikan kritik terhadap fenomena pernikahan dini di masyarakat Lombok. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji konflik pernikahan dini dalam naskah merarik kodek. Metode penelitian ini kualitatif jenis metode pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan dekonstruksi Derrida dalam memaknai konflik pernikahan dini yang disampaikan penulis melalui bahasa metafora. Sumber data adalah naskah merarik kodek karya Galih Mulyadi. Naskah merarik kodek terindikasi menggunakan bahasa metafora dalam menyampaikan konflik pernikahan dini. Dalam penelitian ditemukan: 1. metafora bentuk ekspresi transposisi yang tidak memiliki makna lain, seperti, a) Seratus delapan puluh derajat, b) Bantal tidur, c) Menyamankan lelap, d) Ia terbang jauh, e) Indahnya mimpi malam hari bantal tidur tak dirasa lagi, f) Diriku ya diriku, dirinya ya dirinya, g) Kebius manisnya cinta, di atas hamparan pasir yang sunyi, h) Diiringi canda manis ombak pasang yang berkejaran dan bisikan pasir yang terdengar sedikit menggoda, i) Berani melawan, j) Bapakmu dengan gagahnya, k) Melarikan, tulang punggung,  l) Benar-benar letih, m) Seorang perusak, dan n) Pembelaan diri yang menyakitkan hati; 2. metafora bentuk ekspresi transposisi yang memiliki makna lain (ekspresi transferensi), mempertemukan barterdisasi antara konflik peristiwa yang dialami tokoh pra dan pasca pernikahan yang menjelaskan sebab akibat dari ketidaksiapan remaja dalam menjalankan kehidupan rumah tangga. Abstract: The script of “Merariq Kodek” represents a criticism of the phenomenon of early marriage in Lombok. The aim of this study is to examine the conflict that happened in early marriage in “Merariq Kodek” script. The method of this study is used qualitative method. The data analysis is used Derrida's deconstruction in interpreting early marriage conflicts which the writer conveyed through metaphor language. The source of the data is based on Galih Mulyadi's “Merarik Kodek” script. The manuscript is indicated to use metaphor language which in early marriage conflicts. The results of this research were found; 1. Metaphors are form of transpositional expressions that has no other meaning, such as, a) One hundred and eighty degrees, b). Sleeping pillow, c) Soothing sleep, d). He flew far, e) The beauty of night dreams of sleeping pillows is no longer felt, f) Myself is myself, he is himself, g) The beauty of the sweetness of love, on the lonely stretch of sand, h) Accompanied by the sweet jokes of the waves and the whisper of sand that sounds a little seductive, i) Dare to fight, j) Your father bravely, k) Escape, backbone, l) Really tired, m) A destroyer, and n) Self-defense that hurts the heart. 2). The metaphor of  transpositional expressions has another meaning (transference expression). It  brings the exchange between the conflict events by pre-wedding and post-marriage figures which explain the causes of youth facing the marriage life.

Abstract

Assistance in making public service advertisements at the SMA/SMK and equivalent level aims to educate the community around Kopang sub-district, Central Lombok district. The methods used are classical and practical, strengthening the theory of visual communication design. This assistance was carried out first by lobbying the school so that this activity could be carried out for four days; After organizing the event, it was presented to the school. This assistance was permitted by the school. Mentoring activities start Monday 26-29 February 2024; In this activity, assistance was carried out by inviting local teachers to collaborate in assisting students in creating community service advertisements (PSAs). Students are provided with classical material and tips and tricks in designing. Next, the students tried to make designs with the themes of the dangers of drugs, early marriage and caring for the environment. Of these three themes, students choose one to work on. The work process is accompanied by local lecturers and teachers to get good results. After going through the design stage which was carried out for three days and on the fourth day the students were taught and accompanied to learn to print on A3 size paper. The implication of this assistance is that the school directs the graphic design material taught at school more, it is beneficial for everyone, especially the school environment, and the results can be displayed in each class.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the form of the Penginang Penampi dance performance in the process of inheriting traditional dances of the Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interdisciplinary approach. Research data with three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation is carried out by means of reflection, peer opinion, and rational analysis. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation techniques. The flow of data analysis techniques used is the interactive model analysis flow starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study show the following findings: the form of the Penginang Penampi dance performance in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara is the Penginang Penampi dance movement, the main movement is the initial movement, the core movement and the closing movement. The theme of the Penginang Penampi dance includes non-dramatic dance (traditional dance). the accompanying music uses gamelan gendang beleq, the costume uses the Sasak tribe's clothing, namely the "Lambung" shirt, the make-up uses local make-up, the stage design uses a proscenium stage, the lighting uses the main light and the sound system uses a sound system. The conclusion of the research that has been done, the form of the Penginang Penampi dance performance has a distinctive characteristic form, especially in the form of its movements. Therefore, the Penginang Penampi dance needs to be preserved.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are critical to driving economic growth, particularly by creating jobs, increasing household incomes, and reducing poverty. In Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), 786 registered MSMEs operate across various sectors such as trade, agriculture, and industry. However, many MSMEs face challenges due to a lack of legal business status, which limits their access to financing, market opportunities, and consumer trust. To address this issue, the Sahabat UMKM NTB Community, in collaboration with the government, organized a workshop focused on establishing Individual Limited Companies (PT Perseorangan). This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of business legality, provide technical guidance on registration procedures, and offer hands-on assistance in obtaining legal business status. The program utilized socialization sessions, practical training, and continuous mentorship to support MSME actors in navigating the registration process via the DJAHU system. As a result, several MSMEs successfully obtained legal status, improving their credibility, access to financing, and market reach. This program underscores the significance of collaborative efforts between government, local communities, and technology in empowering MSMEs, enabling them to contribute more effectively to regional and national economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the various roles of art in promoting tourism in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). It explores different forms of art and how they can be utilized to attract tourists, as well as analyzing the impact of art on the number of tourist visits. The research employs a qualitative approach to gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the social and cultural phenomena related to the role of art in tourism promotion in NTB Province. The data collected from the field are then analyzed thematically by identifying patterns and themes that emerge. The findings of this study reveal that art, including performing arts, visual arts, and traditional arts, significantly contributes to attracting tourists. The integration of art into tourism promotion also supports the preservation of local culture. Overall, traditional arts in West Nusa Tenggara not only serve an aesthetic function but also play a central role in promoting tourism, cultural education, and the local economy. The results of this research provide valuable insights for local governments in formulating policies and strategies for tourism development. By understanding the role of art in tourism promotion, governments can more effectively allocate resources and support artistic activities that attract tourists.

Abstract

Kain tenun merupakan komponen yang tak terpisahkan dari kekayaan budaya Indonesia yang memadai. Artikel ini mengenalkan kain tenun Kembang Kerang dari Pulau Lombok sebagai representasi penting dari warisan tekstil tradisional. Penelitian ini menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi dalam upaya pelestarian dan promosi kain tenun, terutama dalam konteks hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI). Meskipun memiliki potensi besar sebagai aset pariwisata dan warisan budaya, kain tenun Kembang Kerang belum sepenuhnya diberikan perlindungan hukum yang memadai. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan empiris untuk menganalisis kain tenun Kembang Kerang dan mengidentifikasi tantangan terkait perlindungan HKI. Temuan kami menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun kain tenun ini memiliki nilai budaya yang tinggi, perlindungan hukumnya masih minim, khususnya dalam hal pendaftaran hak cipta. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa kain tenun Kembang Kerang memiliki daya tarik yang kuat, tidak hanya sebagai produk seni, tetapi juga sebagai simbol status sosial dan budaya. Namun, tanpa perlindungan hukum yang memadai, kain tenun ini rentan terhadap penggunaan tidak sah dan plagiarisme. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan hak kekayaan intelektual untuk melindungi dan mempromosikan kain tenun Kembang Kerang. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga memberikan saran konkret, termasuk dukungan aktif dari pemerintah, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat lokal, dan kolaborasi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Diharapkan bahwa melalui implementasi saran-saran ini, kain tenun Kembang Kerang dapat mendapatkan perlindungan hukum yang lebih baik dan menjadi simbol kebanggaan budaya yang mendukung pembangunan ekonomi dan pariwisata di Pulau Lombok.

Abstract

Artistic communication can be defined as the process of exchanging information, ideas, and expressions through the medium of art. In the context of performance, artistic communication not only involves the interaction between artists and the audience but also encompasses the ways in which cultural values and traditions are conveyed and understood. In relation to this perspective, this research aims to elucidate the patterns and processes of artistic communication in the Dongkrek performance in Madiun. The objective of this study is to analyse and delve into the artistic communication within the Dongkrek performance in Madiun. Specifically, this research aims to identify the elements of communication present in the performance. The method employed in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Observations were conducted during the Dongkrek performance to understand the dynamics of communication occurring between the artists and the audience. Dongkrek in Madiun functions not only as entertainment but also as an important medium for cultural communication. Dongkrek, which is part of the local performing arts tradition, conveys the social, cultural, and identity values of the Madiun community. Through the analysis of various elements in the performance, including music, dance, and narrative, it was found that Dongkrek possesses the ability to convey profound messages to its audience.

Abstract

Peresean is a martial arts tradition typical of the Sasak people in Lombok that contains deep cultural and religious values. This tradition not only depicts physical strength, but also reflects the philosophy of life, such as courage, honor, and self-control. This study aims to examine Peresean as a representation of local culture as well as a manifestation of the religious values of the Sasak people with a cultural anthropological approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies in Semoyang Village, Central Lombok. The results of the study show that Peresean has strong spiritual elements, such as the reading of prayers (mentere), fighting ethics that uphold sportsmanship, and its transformation into a means of teaching religious values in the pesantren environment. This tradition is not just a performance or entertainment, but a medium for cultural preservation and character development of the Sasak people, especially the younger generation. Thus, Peresean is a cultural heritage that has not only aesthetic and historical value, but also spiritual and moral, which continues to be relevant in the face of globalization and modernization.

Abstract

Directing is a very important pragment in the creative process of theater performances without a director a group will have difficulty in questioning its existence. Odop Theater as a student theater group experiences a lack of directors and regeneration in its community. With this directing training, it is hoped that directors will begin to be regenerated. The training used the methods of 1) experience-based approach, 2) discussion or delivery of directing material, 3) technical training, and 4) performance. The results of the training found that there is potential in students to become a director as evidenced by the results of the training one of the participants managed to create a performance. The performance was staged at the Student Theater Week 2025 competition at Taman Budaya Nusa Teanggara Barat. With the presence of a director in the Odop theater of SMA 6 Mataram, it is hoped that its existence as a theater continues to develop and revive creativity in the studio.
