Abstract

The discourse on teacher professional development frequently separates individual agency from the dynamics of community support within digital environments, even though their integration is vital to mitigating professional isolation and cognitive exhaustion. Aligning personal and social dimensions is essential for ensuring the sustainability of digital transformation in schools. The use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) often relies on individual independence, which poses risks of professional isolation and cognitive fatigue. This study aims to evaluate PMM's effectiveness within the Indonesian Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program by synthesizing literature through the dual lenses of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) and Community of Inquiry (CoI). Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, 110 peer-reviewed journal articles addressing SRL and CoI in the PPG context from the Google Scholar database (2022–2026) were analyzed in depth. Findings indicate that literature focus is divided into four categories: SRL studies (36%), CoI (26%), systemic barriers (24%), and SRL-CoI synergy (14%). Analysis reveals that although personal cognitive agency (SRL) is a vital initiator, platform effectiveness reaches its optimum when synergized with social and teaching presence (CoI) through local learning groups. This synergy demonstrates effectiveness in mitigating technostress and digital administrative burdens. The study indicates that digital transformation in education can integrate individual independence with strong community support to ensure the sustainability of humanistic teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a model for the psychomotor and mental health recovery of young children following a hydrometeorological disaster, based on traditional Acehnese games. The study was conducted in disaster-affected areas of Bireuen Regency, involving young children as research subjects. The approach used was a mixed-methods design combining development and intervention. Data were collected through psychomotor tests, mental health observations, structured observations, and interviews with teachers and parents. The results showed that prior to the intervention, the children tended to exhibit unstable psychological conditions, limited motor activity, and low levels of social interaction. After the intervention, there was a significant improvement in psychomotor skills and mental health, marked by enhanced motor skills, self-confidence, emotional stability, and social interaction abilities. Traditional Acehnese games proved to serve not only as a means of motor stimulation but also as a natural and enjoyable medium for psychological recovery. This study concludes that the developed model is effective and can serve as an alternative strategy for the holistic, post-disaster recovery of young children based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a trauma-informed Indonesian language learning model to improve literacy skills and support the mental health recovery of refugee children following a hydrometeorological disaster in Bireuen Regency, Aceh. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, involving 48 refugee children, teachers, and volunteers. The results indicate that the developed model effectively enhances children’s engagement, participation, and self-confidence in learning. Through language activities such as reading, writing, and communication, the children began to express experiences and feelings that were previously difficult to articulate. Additionally, this model is effective in creating a safe and supportive learning environment, thereby aiding the children’s psychological recovery. Expert validation results confirm that the model falls into the “highly feasible” category for implementation. These findings confirm that integrating a trauma-informed approach into language learning can serve as an effective and adaptive strategy to support emergency education focused on children’s literacy and psychosocial needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mismatch between the qualifications of Special Education Teachers (Guru Pembimbing Khusus/GPK) and the legal framework of inclusive education in Indonesia, particularly in private schools. Although GPK qualification standards are clearly regulated in Permendiknas Number 70 of 2009, discrepancies frequently occur in practice. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining national and international journal articles, policy documents, and official reports related to inclusive education and GPK qualifications. The analysis focuses on differences in GPK recruitment practices between public and private schools, factors contributing to qualification mismatch, and its implications for educational services for children with special needs. The findings indicate that public schools generally employ GPK with Special Education (PLB) backgrounds in accordance with regulations, while private schools often recruit non-PLB graduates due to limited availability of qualified personnel and institutional flexibility. This mismatch affects the quality of assessment, individualized education planning, and curriculum adaptation. The study concludes that a significant gap exists between regulatory standards and field implementation, highlighting the need for strengthened training, certification, and policy supervision to ensure effective and equitable inclusive education.

Abstract

Urban areas with semi-arid climates such as Kupang City face the problem of waterlogging in the rainy season and a shortage of groundwater in the dry season. One area that frequently experiences inundation is RT 15/RW 06, Oesapa Subdistrict due to high surface runoff, changes in land use, and a drainage system that is not functioning optimally. This research aims to analyze the existing conditions of the area, calculate the amount of rainwater runoff discharge, and design a model and capacity of infiltration wells as an effort to overcome inundation and increase the volume of groundwater. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method with hydrological analysis using rainfall data, runoff discharge calculations, and technical design of infiltration wells. The research results show that the rainwater runoff discharge in the research area is quite large and cannot be accommodated by the existing drainage system. Implementing infiltration wells with appropriate designs can reduce waterlogging while increasing the potential for groundwater replenishment. It is hoped that this research can become a reference in environmentally sound rainwater management in semi-arid urban areas.

Abstract

The lack of integration between the principles of total quality management (TQM) and Islamic values in the governance of educational institution is a major issue hindering quality development in Islamic education. Thin condition has a terrible impact on the achievement of educational quality which is not only academically excellent, but also morally and spiritually robust. This study aims to analyze in-depth the integration of TQM and Islamic values in the development of quality in Islamic education. A qualitative method with a literature review approach was employed to this study, utilizing academic literature as a data source. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify the patterns or themes within the literature. The findings reveal that the principles of TQM such as customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and leadership involvement show significant relevance to Islamic values such as ihsan, itqan, amanah, and istiqamah. The integration of these two domains generates a conceptual model encompassing value-based leadership, Islamic quality culture, integrative learning process, continuous evaluation, and stakeholder involvement. Overall, the integration of TQM and Islamic values has significant implications for the development of holistic and sustainable Islamic education quality, which is fundamentally oriented toward the formation of students’ morality and spirituality.

Abstract

The authorisation of Management Rights over reclaimed land without obtaining proper permits, as permitted under Government Regulation Number 18 of 2021 (the Land Registration Regulation), has engendered conflicts with Indonesia’s higher statutory laws, specifically Law Number 32 of 2009, Law Number 27 of 2007, and Law Number 17 of 2008. This inconsistency within the regulatory framework undermines the precautionary principle, jeopardises legal certainty, and tacitly condones illegal reclamation activities, thereby contravening the doctrine of ex injuria jus non oritur. This research employs a normative and conceptual legal methodology, analysing the development and coherence of statutory norms through doctrinal interpretation. The purpose of this study is to critically evaluate the legality of granting land rights over unauthorised reclamation under Indonesian law and to examine the regulatory discord arising from conflicting legal norms. The findings suggest that the Land Registration Regulation deviates from the hierarchical structure of legislation, thereby creating legal loopholes that compromise environmental governance and procedural justice. The study concludes that Indonesia must reform its regulatory framework to harmonise environmental, spatial, and land laws, thereby strengthening the rule of law, preventing normative fragmentation, and promoting sustainable coastal management.

Abstract

This study focuses on the process of the formation of variable Y through the influence of the independent variables, specifically X1 and X2, involving students as the research subjects. In addition, this study also considers respondents’ characteristics, such as gender, economic background, and place of residence. The purpose of this research is to identify the effects of financial literacy and self-control ability on the saving interest of students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Nusa Cendana by considering the criteria mentioned above. This research adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 100 students selected using incidental nonprobability sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The analytical techniques employed included multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination, after all classical assumption tests had been fulfilled. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on saving interest, with a t-value of 22.899. Self-control ability also demonstrates a positive and significant influence, with a t-value of 22.871. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on saving interest, with an F-value of 626.207 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination value of 92.8% indicates that saving interest is influenced by financial literacy and self-control, while the remaining percentage is affected by other factors outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing consumptive behavior among female students in the digital era, which is characterized by easy access to online shopping, various promotions, discounts, social media trends, and modern lifestyles that encourage purchasing based on desires rather than needs. Although many previous studies have discussed the influence of economic literacy and lifestyle on consumptive behavior, most of them still examine these two variables separately and do not specifically focus on female students. This study aims to analyze the influence of economic literacy and lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of female students at Universitas Nusa Cendana. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory (causal) research design. The sample consists of 120 female students selected through the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that economic literacy and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination value of 88.5% indicates that most consumptive behavior is influenced by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is affected by other factors outside the scope of this study. This study is expected to contribute to strengthening economic education studies related to the consumptive behavior of female students.

Abstract

Saving interest is an important aspect influenced by financial behavior, lifestyle, and self-control. Therefore, this study focuses on the characteristics of Generation Z as a group with distinctive financial behavior patterns. This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle and self-control on Generation Z students’ saving interest through financial behavior as a mediating variable. This study employs the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as the theoretical framework to explain how personal and social factors can influence students’ saving interest through the formation of financial behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 students from five public universities in Kupang City selected through incidental sampling. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The results indicate that lifestyle and financial behavior have a positive and significant effect on saving interest, whereas self-control does not have a significant direct effect but has an indirect effect through financial behavior. These findings indicate that financial behavior plays an important role as a mediator in increasing students’ saving interest. This study contributes to expanding the application of the Theory of Planned Behavior in explaining the saving behavior of Generation Z students in the digital transaction era.
