Abstract

This research is to determine the Implementation of a combination between the Direct Method and the Counseling Learning Method to improve speaking skills for students of Islamic University Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau and to determine the factors that influence this combination Method. This study is experimental research is about research method that is used to search for a specific treatment effect against the other in uncontrolled conditions. By using experimental design Pretest – Posttest None Control Group Design. The data collection method is (1) observation and (2) an oral test. The writer used Tests T Analyze to Analyze the data an oral test. The results of the analysis of the data obtained on the Application Direct Method and Counseling Learning Method in Learning Arabic to improve speaking skills for students of Islamic University Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau based on observations obtained 93.75 % means "Very Good" on the level of 80-100%. And based on the results of the oral test of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the adoption of a combination between Direct Method and Counseling Learning Method in Learning Arabic to improve speaking skills for students of Islamic University Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau is effective.

Abstract

The objectives of the study in this topic is to find out the motivation of students’ learning of the Arabic language in the experimental study and the control study and to find out the effect of using social media Instagram as a learning media on motivating students in the eighth-graders in Islamic Junior High School 6 Sragen to learn Arabic. This study is an experimental study method quantitative method. The method of data collection used is questionnaires. The media used is Instagram. The method of analysis used is paired sample T-test and independent sample T-test. The use of the Instagram learning media has a positive effect on stimulating learning, and this is required by the presence of the change in the paired sample T-test, and the significance score was less than 0,05 (P = 0,001 < 0,05). Then there are significant differences in the scores of the experimental class and the control class students. It can be demonstrated by the independent T-test result (post-test) that the calculated T value (2,539 > 1,999) and the significance score is less than 0,05 (P = 0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

Grammar is an important part of the Arabic language. Words can be arranged into a correct sentence when following the existing rules. Learning Arabic grammar in Indonesia has many difficulties that come from students and teachers such as students have a low interest in learning Arabic and teachers have not tried new methods,  techniques, and media in learning Arabic. So students' interest and motivation tend to be low towards learning Arabic. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the use of Kahoot! games to improve the results and interests of learning Arabic students of class IX MTs N Balikpapan. This study uses quasi-experimental methods. Research samples are taken with random techniques. Data collection is done by means of tests,  questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The instrument validity test is conducted using the product-moment correlation formula. Reliability test using the Alfa Cronbach formula. Data analysis is done with prerequisite tests of analysis and hypothesis tests. The results showed that there was a significant difference in results and interests in learning Arabic between control classes and experimental classes. This is indicated by the significance value on the t-test of -4.867 < 0.05. The experimental class post-test average was higher than the control class post-test average (64.43 > 42.67).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the historical process of Balaghah studies which is taking place at the stage of the development of scientific dynamics and the study of Balaghah studies. This research is qualitative research and it uses the literature review method in the process of collecting data. The result of this study indicates that at the end of the second century of Hijriyyah, the Mufassirs had an enormous contribution to the growth and practice of developing Balaghah studies. In this century, Balaghah studies have revealed some of the knowledge of Tafsir and it has contributed adequately to understanding and revealing the verses of the Qur'an (I'jazul Qur'an). Then Balaghah studies reached the peak of the glory in the fourth century of Hijriyyah, specifically during the time of Abu Bakr Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani (W.471 H) with his construction theory text (Nazhariyah al-Nazhm) which was found in Dalailul I'jaz and at the same time, it became the basis for the formation of Ma’ani studies. He formulated the studies in detail about Bayan studies in his book "Asrar al-Balaghah". Furthermore, Al-Zamakhsyari (W.538 H) through his book "Tafsir al-Kasysyaf" has also a significant contribution to the progress of Balaghah studies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an related to Religious Moderation from the perspective of Muqotil ibn Sulaiman Al-Balkhy which focuses on four words, namely: al-din, al-kufr, al-syirk and al-jihad. The choice of these four terms is because they are closely related to the discussion of religious moderation in which there are certain groups who generalize the meaning of the term textually, even though every word in the Qur'an has several alternative meanings that vary. This study uses a qualitative method of library research or library research. The results of this study are that the four terms have various meanings, namely: the word al-Din has five meanings: Tawhid, Calculation (Charity), Law, Religion and Belief. The word al-Kufr has four meanings: denying the oneness of Allah, denying argument, denying favors and breaking away. The word al-Shirk has three meanings: associating partners with Allah with something else, shirk by not worshiping and showing off. Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems experienced by students in studying qiro'ah material. In practice, students often have difficulty understanding reading texts because of the lack of mufrodat vocabulary. The use of inappropriate learning models such as lectures makes students bored, especially if students' reading skills are weak. Unlike the Diponegoro Islamic High School Surakarta students who are enthusiastic when learning qiro'ah because the teacher applies the discovery learning model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation of the research subjects of class XI IPS. The purpose of the study was to describe the application of the discovery learning model to the learning of maharah qiro'ah in class XI IPS for Diponegoro Islamic High School students. The results show that the application of the discovery learning model by listening to native speaker audio and discussing can run smoothly and achieve fahmul masmu' and fahmul maqru'.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the history of Arabic lexicology in the classical era and the figures who contributed to the field of Arabic lexicology. There are three questions that will be answered through this research, namely First, "How was the forerunner to the development of Arabic lexicology in the classical era?". Second, "Who played an important role in spreading and introducing Arabic lexicology?". Third, "what works have been produced by Arab lexicological scientists in the early days of their development?". This study uses a qualitative research method based on literature study related to Arabic lexicological literature. The results of this study are: First, the history of Arabic lexicology in the classical era began with the lahn event (language error), then the event gave rise to the idea of ​​scholars to record Arabic vocabulary through the Bedouin tribe, while the methods used in language codification were the sima' and qiyas methods. . Second, figures who are instrumental in Arabic lexicology include Khalil bin Ahmad Al-Farahidi, Abu Mansur Al-Azhari, Ibn Jinni, and Ibn Fariz. Third, the works produced by lexicological scientists from the classical era, namely: the al-ain dictionary by Khalil bin Ahmad Al-Farahidi, the tahdzib al-lughah dictionary by Abu Mansur al-Azhari, the book of al-khosois by Ibn Jinni, and maqoyis lughoh by Ibn Faris.

Abstract

The design of arabic textbooks based on flipping books is based on the existence of conventional textbooks that only focus on scientific development but students are not required to think critically. Furthermore, the existence of conventional books should be able to adjust the development of the digital era which certainly has an impact on students' interest in learning Arabic. This study aims to provide an overview of the material and items about al-Masal which is systematically designed so that students are able to think critically so that they can conclude al-Masal both orally and in writing, and is packaged with an interesting format, namely flipping books. This research is a development research using a three-D pattern (Define, Design, Develop). Based on the results of research and development, it is known that students' critical thinking ability can improve based on students being able to mention proverbs, explain proverbs, and apply proverbs orally and in writing. Then students' interest in learning will increase with the presentation of interesting teaching materials in the form of flipping books

Abstract

Arabic learning still seems traditional and not updated. For this reason, it is necessary to adjust the times in this digital era to the demands and needs of students. This research was conducted to provide an overview of Arabic learning innovations in the digital era of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and to analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure needed to support successful learning. Through a comprehensive research review, this research is intended to present the results of an analysis of the management of facilities and infrastructure in learning Arabic through MOOC in the current digital era. Data collection techniques are carried out by documentation studies or literature searches. The findings are presented systematically which are categorized into four things, namely 1) management of learning facilities and infrastructure, 2) trends in Arabic learning in the digital era, 3) MOOC in Arabic learning, and 4) management of facilities and infrastructure in language learning. Arabic via MOOC. This research contributes to providing concrete descriptions and answers to the demands of the times in the digital era in updating the implementation of Arabic learning.

Abstract

Pragmatics is one of the branches of linguistics which includes the relationship between outside language and the intent of an utterance, while pragmatics itself is a linguistics study that studies the use of language associated with the context in which it is used. The meaning of the language can be understood if the context is known. This study focuses on one branch of pragmatics, namely Arabic directive speech acts in the animation "The Story of Imam Hasan Al-Bashri ''. This study serves to explain and describe the forms and functions of Arabic directive speech acts in the animation "The Story of Imam Hasan Al-Bashri". The method used by the researcher is a descriptive analysis method. It is carried out through three stages, namely: (1) data collection stage, (2) data analysis stage, (3) data analysis presentation stage. The results of this study indicate that the form of speech acts in the animation "Kisah Imam Hasan Al-Bashri '' consists of: (1) direct speech acts, (2) indirect speech acts, (3) literal speech acts, and (4) speech acts. not literal speech. Meanwhile, the functions of Arabic speech acts in the animation "The Story of Imam Hasan Al-Bashri" include: Requestives directive speech acts, Questions directive speech acts, Requirements directive speech acts, Prohibitives directive speech acts, Permissives directive speech acts, Advisores directive speech acts.
