Abstract

In an era of ever-developing information technology, education requires innovative approaches to optimize learning and equip students with relevant skills in the digital world. Smart Apps Creator-based digital learning materials provide engaging and interactive tools for IT learning. By using this technology, educators can create learning applications that are tailored to students' needs and interests. This allows for more personalized learning and increases student involvement in the teaching and learning process. Informatics subjects play an important role in developing students' computational thinking skills, such as problem solving, logic, algorithms and modeling. With digital learning materials based on Smart Apps Creator, the use of learning media at SMAN 5 Surakarta is still dominated by print media, namely textbooks, resulting in students lacking enthusiasm in the teaching and learning process in informatics subjects. This research uses 4D modeling (define, design, development, disseminate). The trial was carried out involving 72 class X students. Consisting of class X-E9 with 36 students, class X-E10 with 36 students. The research results show that the feasibility of the product from the evaluation results of material experts is 96%, media experts 91%, which includes the "Very Valid" criteria, while the teacher response evaluation results are 95% and are included in the "Very Good" criteria. Furthermore, a trial was carried out with 95% of student responses which fell into the "Very Good" criteria so that it could be concluded that the Smart Apps Creator-based learning media for informatics subjects was suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

In the field of education, technological developments which are currently running rapidly are certainly experiencing fundamental changes that occur in the education evaluation system at the educational unit level. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the effectiveness of flipbook-based mathematics teaching modules in improving the critical thinking skills of high school (SMA) students, with the subjects of this research being class XI students at SMA MTA Surakarta. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews and mathematics test questions on the topic of linear programming. The data obtained was then analyzed using quantitative analysis. The results of this research explain that the flipbook-based learning module to improve the critical thinking skills of class Based on this, the flipbook-based mathematics learning module to improve critical thinking skills in class XI students at SMA MTA Surakarta can be used in educational units with appropriate characteristics. The use of this flipbook is not limited to student worksheets but the entire mathematics learning module in flipbook form.

Abstract

Changes in foreign exchange (forex) rates have a significant impact on the finances of companies that operate internationally. Exchange rate fluctuations can affect profitability, operating costs, and the value of overseas assets, placing pressure on a company's financial stability. This research investigates various financial risk management strategies that can be used by companies to protect themselves from this volatility. The research method used was a literature review. The research found that derivatives, when used appropriately, can significantly reduce the risks associated with exchange rate fluctuations. However, this strategy requires a deep understanding of financial instruments and the forex market, as well as expertise in financial risk management. In addition, the study identified that currency diversification and currency matching are important approaches in risk mitigation that not only protect companies from forex market uncertainties but also help in maintaining liquidity. Another critical factor is the cooperative relationship with international banks that can provide valuable insights and customized solutions for forex risk management.

Abstract

Many people believe that an organization will be effective if it is managed with good management. This opinion is not entirely correct, because leadership factors are what can move an organization to be effective. One of the factors that determines the success and sustainability of an institution or organization is whether the leadership is strong or not. The failure or success of an institution or organization is determined by the leader, because the leader is the controller and determiner of direction who can determine whether or not the organization's goals are achieved.

Abstract

In the last two decades, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has transformed the education landscape, opening up new opportunities to increase parental involvement in children's education. This study aims to explore how ICT can be used to support parental involvement in children's learning and identify possible challenges and strategies to overcome them. The study was conducted through a comprehensive literature review, collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including peer-reviewed journals, academic conferences, research reports and case studies relevant to the use of ICT in education. The results of the literature show that ICT plays an important role in enhancing parental engagement through communication tools such as email, parent portals, and mobile applications that enable access to educational information and communication between school and home. It was found that enhanced parental involvement through ICT contributes to increased student learning motivation and better educational outcomes. However, challenges such as technology access gaps, lack of digital literacy skills among parents, and privacy and data security concerns were also revealed. Strategies to address these challenges include increased investment in ICT infrastructure, digital literacy training programs for parents, and implementation of strong privacy and security policies.

Abstract

In the last decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has moved from being a futuristic concept to a critical component of economic decision-making. The use of AI has been extended to various aspects of the economy, ranging from strategic decision-making at the firm level to macroeconomic policy at the government level. This study aims to examine the impact of AI on decision-making in macro and microeconomics, and understand how optimal efficiency can be achieved through the implementation of this technology. The study conducted in this research utilizes the literature research method. The results of this study show that AI has the potential to increase economic growth due to increased productivity and operational efficiency. At the macro level, AI contributes to more accurate policy planning and efficient resource management. At the micro level, AI supports businesses in gaining competitive advantage through supply chain optimization, personalization of service offerings, and better customer data management. However, the findings also emphasize the importance of addressing ethical, privacy, and accessibility challenges to ensure that the benefits of AI are widely and equitably enjoyed.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing the global economic landscape, promising greater operational efficiency, product innovation and solutions to long-term economic challenges. However, the broad impact of this technology on the economy varies widely and raises questions about its future implications for labor, economic equality, and global market competition. The study conducted in this research uses the literature research method. The results show that AI plays a key role in advancing innovation, increasing productivity, and addressing some pressing economic challenges such as energy efficiency and climate change. However, it also identifies significant risks in terms of job displacement, increased inequality, and concentration of market power in the hands of large technology companies.

Abstract

Cooperatives are non-bank financial institutions that help their members and the community to improve their standard of living. This quantitative descriptive study intends to analyze the financial performance of the XYZ Employee Cooperative for the 2020-2022 period with a sample, namely financial statement data for 2020-2022. The analytical method utilized is financial ratio analysis, encompassing liquidity, profitability, and solvency metrics. According to industry standards, the current ratio and cash ratio liquidity ratios rank well. The solvency ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and debt-to-assets ratio all indicate positive outcomes by industry standards. Different results are shown in the return on equity profitability ratio because it is close to the maximum value set by industry standards. Other profitability ratios such as return on assets show good results according to industry standards as well as net profit margin and gross profit margin which show good results.

Abstract

Indonesia has an employment problem with a high unemployment rate. MSMEs an important role in raising incomes and adding new jobs. MSMEs can employ above 99.45% of the labor force and contribute about 30% to GDP. The purpose of this study is to look deeply into the role and contribution of MSMEs to the unemployment rate at Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach, taking 92 respondents for data analysis. MSME's Growth (X) and The Unemployment Rate (Y) have a significant relationship, as seen from the correlation test results obtained R = 0.649. Determination coefficient tests the impact is 56.6% of ESME's growth variables on unemployment rate declines. However, 43,4% is an outside factor affecting the unemployment rate. At t-test get tcount > ttable or 8,088 > 1,980. It suggests a relation between MSME’s growth and the unemployment rate, or H0 rejected and H1 accepted
