Abstract

Ambon City holds significant potential in the tourism sector through its unique cultural identity in music. However, the utilization of the “Ambon City of Music” brand remains suboptimal due to weak stakeholder synergy and limited supportive infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the tourism development prospects of Ambon by maintaining its music brand as a strategic identity. The research employs an exploratory-qualitative approach using field observations, interviews, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the music brand significantly contributes to building cultural-based tourism appeal, but lacks comprehensive support from regulations, physical infrastructure, and public awareness. Despite UNESCO's recognition of Ambon as a World Music City, there has been no visible transformation of the city’s spatial identity. The study highlights the importance of integrating cultural promotion with urban infrastructure enhancement to achieve global positioning. Recommendations include optimizing music-playing regulations, establishing musical landmarks, and promoting music education across sectors. This research contributes to developing a sustainable, identity-based tourism management model.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in regional economies, yet standardized financial reporting remains a major challenge. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SAK ETAP in the financial statements of Sinar Tani Agriculture in Waiheru Village. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with core members of the farmer group. The findings indicate that the financial statements have not fully adhered to SAK ETAP, especially in the absence of cash flow statements and notes to the financial statements, as well as inconsistencies in several balance sheet and income statement items. The conclusion emphasizes the need for a better understanding of SAK ETAP among agricultural MSMEs to foster transparency and accountability, ultimately facilitating access to formal financing. This in-depth analysis in the local agricultural context provides a fresh perspective on the practical challenges of accounting standard implementation. These results imply the necessity of ongoing training, intensive assistance, and collaboration with related institutions to ensure the effective and consistent application of SAK ETAP

Abstract

Savings and loan cooperatives play an important role in supporting community economies, but often face challenges related to non-performing loans that can impact the financial health of the cooperative. This study aims to identify the factors causing non-performing loans at Dwi Eka Jaya Multi-Business Cooperative in Waiheru Village. A case study with a descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation with 13 respondents experiencing problematic loans. The results reveal six main factors: misuse of loan funds, poor character, crop failure, business constraints, misfortune, escape, and additional borrowing from other institutions without increased income. The findings highlight the necessity for thorough debtor assessments and strengthened internal supervision systems to minimize credit risk. These insights provide a deeper understanding of risk dynamics in local cooperatives. The implications suggest the need for credit analysis training, member assistance, and strengthened creditworthiness assessment procedures to support cooperative sustainability.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the micro-enterprise sector, including traditional market traders. This study aims to analyze changes in the income of staple goods traders at the Transit Market in Passo before and after the pandemic. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed. The sample consisted of 15 permanent traders selected purposively. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using linearity tests (ANOVA) and the Paired Sample t-Test. The results show that the average daily income of traders decreased from IDR 7,000,000 to IDR 3,700,000. The ANOVA test indicated a significant linear relationship between pre- and post-pandemic income (Sig. = 0.001), with no deviation from linearity (Sig. = 0.637). The Paired Sample t-Test confirmed a statistically significant difference (t = 10.104; Sig. = 0.000). In conclusion, the Covid-19 pandemic had a real impact in reducing the income of traders at the Transit Market in Passo. These findings highlight the need for targeted local economic recovery policies, including capital assistance, business training, and strengthening the traditional market system

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ strategies in shaping the character of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Ambon. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of declining moral values among adolescents and the central role of teachers in character education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques involved in-depth interviews and documentation with teachers and students as the primary informants. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in the applied strategies. The results show that three main strategies are employed by teachers: role modeling, spontaneous activities, and routine activities. Role modeling is carried out through the teachers’ everyday behavior, which serves as an example for students. Spontaneous activities include direct corrections and advice on students’ negative behaviors, while routine activities such as daily prayers, classroom cleaning duties, and flag ceremonies instill values like discipline, responsibility, and nationalism. These strategies have proven effective in shaping student character comprehensively. This study contributes to the development of a contextual, field-based model of character education. Its implications point to the need for teacher training and school policies that support the sustainability of character-building strategies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of monthly finances by students of the Economic Education Study Program at FKIP Unpatti, as well as the influencing factors. The research is grounded in the importance of financial management skills for students who are beginning to live independently. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to explore in depth the behaviors and strategies students use to manage their finances. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected students. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in financial management, saving habits, lifestyle influences, and the challenges they face. The findings reveal that most students do not yet have structured financial habits. The main obstacles are a consumerist lifestyle, lack of discipline, and limited practical financial literacy. Students with better self-control and planning skills tend to maintain more stable financial conditions. This study suggests the need for applied and behavior-based financial education to enhance students’ capacity to manage their money effectively.
