Abstract

The development of an inclusive curriculum for elementary school education is an urgent need in order to provide equal opportunities for all students, including those with special needs, to access quality education. An inclusive curriculum is designed to accommodate individual differences in the teaching and learning process, create an inclusive educational environment, and promote the values of diversity and inclusion in schools. This study aims to develop and analyze an inclusive curriculum in elementary schools by reviewing relevant curriculum components and their effectiveness in supporting the engagement and development of students from various backgrounds and abilities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample of this study consisted of teachers, principals, students, and support staff in several elementary schools that have implemented an inclusive curriculum . Observations were conducted to directly observe the implementation of the inclusive curriculum in the classroom, while in-depth interviews with teachers and principals aimed to explore perceptions, obstacles, and needs in developing the curriculum. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify emerging patterns and themes, and to examine factors that support and hinder the successful implementation of the inclusive curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the main challenges in teaching moral education in elementary schools and develop effective solutions to overcome these challenges. Moral education at the elementary level is becoming increasingly important amidst rapid social change and technological developments, which often disrupt the moral values taught. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving teachers, students, and parents as respondents. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document studies, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the main challenges in moral education in elementary schools include limited time in the curriculum, low student interest, the negative influence of social media, and lack of support from families. To overcome these challenges, the proposed solutions include the integration of moral education in all subjects, increased collaboration between teachers and parents, and the implementation of a more contextual and experience-based learning approach. By implementing these solutions, moral education is expected to be more effective in shaping students' character and positive values from an early age.

Abstract

This literature review aims to analyze the role of mathematical reasoning in developing junior high school students' mathematical competence. Mathematical reasoning is a very important cognitive skill to help students understand mathematical concepts, solve problems, and develop critical thinking skills. Based on studies from various previous studies, it was found that various factors, such as active learning approaches, the use of technology, and teacher support, play a significant role in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. In addition, problem-based learning, constructivist approaches, and the integration of technology in learning have been proven to encourage students to be more active and creative in solving mathematical problems. This study also revealed that developing students' learning motivation and strengthening the relationship between students and teachers can strengthen the mathematical reasoning process. Thus, this study provides important insights into the importance of these factors in developing students' mathematical competence at the junior high school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research, in addition to mapping and describing the optimization of teacher rights in improving the quality of graduates of Madrasah Aliyah in Bengkulu, is also a reference regarding the importance of optimizing teacher rights in improving the quality of graduates of Madrasah Aliyah in Bengkulu starting from increasing the optimization of the rights that must be given to teachers. The approach used in this writing is to use a descriptive qualitative method approach. Sources of information in this study, using various sources, both online media data, scientific articles and e-books related to optimizing teacher rights in improving the quality of madrasah aliyah graduates in Bengkulu. The results concluded in this study are that there is still a lack of optimization in giving teachers' rights, especially teachers who are still on honorary status. Madrasah leaders cannot take steps that are more in the form of granting honorary teacher rights, especially in terms of salary, if there is no decision from the Ministry of Education and Culture. Therefore, if the teacher's rights are not optimal, it will not be able to improve the change in the quality of graduates at the Islamic boarding school. Likewise, if the provision of teacher rights is optimal, it will easily be able to drive change so that the quality of madrasa graduates increases and excels can compete in the national realm for the future of these madrasa students. Thus it can be suggested to optimize teacher rights in order to improve the quality of aliyah madrasah graduates in Bengkulu.

Abstract

This research is based on an interview with Mrs. Mutmainah, S.Pd., a teacher at SMA IT IQRA Bengkulu City, to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the school. The results of the interview show that the high school has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum for 2 years, but the class XII teacher has not used the curriculum because of national exam preparations. The learning method used is not much different from the 2013 Curriculum, with an emphasis on discussions and student projects. The learning media used include PowerPoint presentations, learning videos, and teaching aids such as pictures of fossils, the Koran, maps, and globes. The obstacles faced are limited teaching aids and learning media. However, implementing an independent curriculum provides benefits in terms of ease of delivery of material and active involvement of students in learning.Props
