Abstract

This study explores the application of the Ummi method in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at the Zamzam Muhammadiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School in Cilongok, focusing on three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of the method in improving students' memorization. The aim is to comprehensively describe the implementation of the Ummi method and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and verification of conclusions. The results show that the Ummi method is implemented systematically and has a positive impact on improving student memorization and discipline. The planning includes understanding the Islamic boarding school curriculum, setting memorization targets, preparing a schedule for muroja'ah and recitation, and training teachers to ensure teaching meets Ummi standards. In addition, learning tools such as guides, assessment instruments, and periodic evaluation schemes are also prepared. The implementation includes joint muroja'ah, memorization guidance through talaqqi and tasmi', daily recitation per individual, and intensive mentoring for students who experience difficulties. Evaluation is carried out routinely by assessing the fluency of memorization, accuracy of tajwid, and discipline of students, while also analyzing obstacles and solutions implemented by teachers.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are academic achievements achieved by students through assignments and exams, as well as active asking and answering questions that support their learning outcomes. This study explains the importance of interactive media so that classroom learning is interesting and increases student learning motivation and maximum learning outcomes. The interactive media used by researchers is the snakes and ladders game based on the Genially platform, where on this platform there are various features and media that can be used by educators to create interesting media for learning. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there is an influence of interactive media and how much influence interactive media has on student learning outcomes in the PAI BP subject of class XII at SMA N 1 Jatilawang. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research with a purposive sampling approach. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence on the influence of interactive media on student learning outcomes in the PAI BP subject of class XII at SMAN N 1 Jatilawang both before and after the implementation of interactive media through the results of hypothesis testing that has been carried out. There is a pretest value with an average of 58.33 and a posttest value of 94.25. The results of student responses in the application of interactive media in the PAI BP subject in class XII were found to be mostly in the high category where the percentage was 98.15% indicating that students agreed with the existence of interactive media in the learning and had a positive attitude towards their students' learning outcomes

Abstract

Education serves as a fundamental pillar in developing quality human resources, both intellectually and spiritually. In the context of Islamic religious education, students’ active participation is a crucial factor in achieving a deep understanding of the values contained in the Qur’an and Hadith. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in enhancing the active participation of Grade XII students in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject at MAN 1 Banyumas. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included Grade XII students, the Al-Qur’an Hadith teacher, and the school principal. The findings indicate that the teacher’s modified Jigsaw model effectively increased students’ active participation through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation.Moreover, students developed communication skills, teamwork, and critical thinking. The study concludes that a contextually modified Jigsaw model can serve as an effective instructional strategy for the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject. Recommendations are offered for teachers, students, future researchers, and school administrators for further improvement and development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the efforts made by Islamic Religiors Education and Character Education teachers in addressing students’ moral degradation at SMP Negeri 1 Kembaran. The research focuses on identifying indication of students’ moral decline and axamining the strategies employed by PAI teachers to overcome it. This is a qualitative study using a descriptive field research. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The main informats include PAI and Character Education teachers, students, and relate achool authorities. The research results indicate that the efforts of PAI teachers and Budi Pekerti in addressing the moral degradation of students involve implementing various strategies to shape character and improve the morals of students, such as role modeling, providing advice and motivation, habituating positive and religious activities, reinforcing religious values in learning, and collaborating with parents and the school community. These efforts significantly contribute to fostering the moral awareness of students and reducing deviant behavior in the school environment. This research can serve as a reference for developing moral education strategies, particularly for educators and education policymakers in designing character education programs rooted in Islamic values. Abstract

The Qur'an and Hadith are two sources that serve as the foundation in Islamic education. Thus, by learning the Qur'an and Hadith, students can understand the contents of the Qur'an. To be able to understand the contents of the Qur'an, the ability to read the Qur'an is needed in accordance with the rules of tajwid science. Therefore, a learning method is needed that is appropriate to the conditions of students and the material to be delivered. This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of the tartil method in learning the Qur'an and Hadith at Walisongo Kembaran Islamic Middle School, Banyumas. The application of this tartil method aims to improve students' reading of the Qur'an in accordance with the rules of tajwid science. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research conducted at Walisongo Kembaran Islamic Middle School, Banyumas Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the tartil method in learning the Qur'an and Hadith is carried out through three stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. In the planning stage, teachers design lesson plans, determine learning strategies, and select Quranic readings. The implementation stage involves habituation activities to create a conducive atmosphere, and students read the Quran under teacher guidance and direct correction. The evaluation stage is carried out to assess students' Quranic reading abilities.

Abstract

Technological advancements have brought significant changes to the field of education, including in the teaching of Akidah Akhlak (Faith and Morality), which is often perceived as abstract and unengaging by students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive audio-visual media in Akidah Akhlak learning for Grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto, identify its impact on students' understanding, and determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. The research employs a qualitative method with a field research approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, the school principal, and students, as well as supporting documentation.The implementation process involves three main stages: (1) planning, including learning objectives, learning pathways, and teaching modules; (2) execution, such as the use of videos, animations, and interactive discussions; and (3) evaluation. The findings indicate that interactive audio-visual media, such as animated videos and digital presentations, effectively visualize abstract concepts of Akidah Akhlak, making them easier to comprehend. Students appeared more enthusiastic and engaged in learning. However, limitations in facilities, such as the insufficient number of projectors and teachers' readiness in operating the equipment, posed challenges that need to be addressed. Overall, the application of this media enhances students' interest and understanding of the values of faith and morality. Based on data analysis using the aforementioned techniques, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Interactive Audio-Visual Media in the Akidah Akhlak Element for Grade VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto is well-aligned, although still in the adjustment phase

Abstract

This thesis aims to examine the application of the Tartīl method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an of students at the Ath Thohiriyyah Purwokerto Islamic Boarding School. Learning to read the Qur'an properly and correctly is a fundamental aspect in Islamic boarding school education, especially in forming religious competence in accordance with the rules of tajwid, makhārijul ḥurūf, and tartil rhythm as recommended in QS. Al-Muzzammil verse 4. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Tartīl method has been applied continuously since the early 2000s on the initiative of the boarding school caretaker. Activities are carried out every Sunday morning after the Subuh prayer, starting with prayer and tawassul together, followed by individual reading of verses, direct correction by the ustadz, and collective repetition of readings. The application of this method plays a role not only as a means of reading practice, but also as an evaluative instrument and character building through discipline, perseverance, and mutual respect among students. The supporting factors include the charismatic leadership of the boarding school caretaker, the pedagogical competence of the ustadz, the religious climate of the boarding school, and the internal awareness of the students. Meanwhile, the main obstacles come from the limited physical readiness of students in the morning and variations in reading ability between individuals.

Abstract

This research is focused on illustrating how Islamic Religious Education instructors creatively implement mobile phone technology as a tool to aid learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Building at SMP Negeri 1 Jatilawang. The approach taken in this study is descriptive qualitative, utilizing methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation for data gathering. The analysis of the data includes steps like data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions or verifying findings. Participants in the research included the school principal, teachers of Islamic Religious Education, and students from grades VII and VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Jatilawang. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation was employed. Findings indicated that the teachers of Islamic Religious Education displayed significant creativity in using various mobile applications including YouTube, Google Maps, Canva, Google Forms, and Islamic educational apps like the Stories of the 25 Prophets and Apostles. The digital tools were effectively integrated during the planning, execution, and assessment phases of the educational process. Some challenges encountered, such as limited devices, internet connectivity, and the need for student supervision, can be addressed through proper management techniques. In general, the incorporation of mobile phones enhances the effectiveness, involvement, and motivation of students in the Islamic Religious Education classroom.

Abstract

With today’s advanced technology, the massive flow of information accelerates the spread of sensitive issues on social media, including those related to Islam. This phenomenon creates an urgency to equip students with critical thinking skills so they can respond to such issues wisely. This is particularly relevant for junior high school students who are beginning to actively access digital information and are vulnerable to provocative content, including religious issues. Critical thinking is also a key competency in developing excellent human resources capable of facing global challenges. For this reason, SMP Negeri 02 Purwokerto as a Junior High School seeks to internalize this ability in its students through the educational process. Therefore, this research aims to explain the Internalization of the Pancasila Student Profile's Critical Thinking Dimension in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 02 Purwokerto as a potential solution to this urgency. This is a field research study employing a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study show that teachers of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 02 Purwokerto internalize the Critical Thinking Dimension through the following stages: 1) preparing the Islamic Religious Education and Character Education lesson plans; 2) implementing the internalization of the Critical Thinking Dimension in three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and transinternalization; and 3) evaluating the learning process of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education

Abstract

The Problem Based Learning model is one of the learning innovations recommended in the independent curriculum. The implementation of this study aims to examine and describe the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 2 Kedungbanteng with a focus on improving student understanding. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a field approach. Data collection was carried out using direct observation, interviews, and document searches at the research location. The subjects involved in this study included Islamic Religious Education teachers and grade VIII students. From this study, it can be concluded that the implementation is carried out through three stages, including: 1) Planning stage, the process of implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model, teachers prepare teaching modules as guidelines for implementation in the learning process. 2) Implementation stage, covering the PBL syntax including problem orientation, organizing students, mentoring individual and group investigations, developing and presenting results and analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. 3) Evaluation stage, which is carried out in the form of formative assessments during the learning process. The results of this study provide a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model as an innovative approach to creating more relevant, interactive, and student-centered Islamic Religious Education and Character Education learning, especially in dealing with contextual issues that require problem solving and moral reasoning.
