Abstract

The crisis is occurred in Indonesia. It is caused by the weakness of the education system that has not made thecommunity have the ability and independence, the lack of strong mental foundation development, and the weakness of competitiveness. The government has implemented the KKNI-based curriculum to strengthen the student’s compet it iveness and character. The focus of lecturing not only conveys the materials, but also there are four things: 1). attitude, 2). work ability, 3). knowledge, 4). managerial and responsibility. Through archival work experiences is expected to connect between universities, especially Open University and field employment. The demands of the field employment are not only for the theory but also the students ‘outstanding characters;such as honesty, discipline, work ethic, competitiveness, and  loyalty. Based on the observations on archival work experiences, the instruments still emphasize only the knowledge aspect which is less able to measure anddevelop the student’ characterist ics. This research was conducted at UPBJJ-UT Semarang by taking samples ofthree regencies / cities; such as Semarang, Batang, and Pati. The research uses descriptive research based onCIPP evaluation model. The CIPP model has a special component in the evaluation of context, input, process, and product. The result shows that the implementation of archival work experiences had been done well.Lecturers and advisors have built character education to students either directly or indirectly. In contrast, it hadnot been clear character assessment. Therefore, it is necessary to plan the student’ character assessmentinstrument clearly and precisely which is integrated in final assessment. The characters building that can be builtin archival work experiences are discipline, honest, creative, curiosity, passion, hard work, friendly / communicative, responsibility, and environment awareness. In conclusion, it is expected that there is an instrument of student character education assessment in archival work experiences. Keywords: character education, archival work experiences, CIPP model

Abstract

o far, the selection of types and weight of student violations is rather difficult to be done by the college. Sometimes a student has a good performance in terms of lectures, but on the other hand less in terms of behavior or attitude compared with other students and vice versa. It is necessary to develop assessment methods to conduct selection and evaluation of the students, especially those indicated problematic to be evaluated and handled in a more structured manner. In this study created a system that produces a system that supports decision-making to determine students who have problems and need attention as well as special guidance objectively. The system is created by using AHP method which is one of the methods in decision support system and decision table which is one method in data mining. The criteria used are value of achievement index, length of study, duration of not active as student, amount of absenteeism, payment of SPP, alcohol use, drugs and fighting. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion according to the input of the interest ratio. In addition to weight, the results of the AHP method also determine the classification of actions forproblem students. Decision table generates referrals according to the classification produced by the AHP method. The system can describe the AHP process at each step in the form of a matrix so that it can be studied and evaluated the truth of each step on the method used. Abstract

Background: STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) is a kind of RTI (Reproductive Tract Infections) transmittedthrough sexual intercourses.  Bacteria causing such kind of infections can be fungi, viruses and parasites.Women are more susceptible to suffering reproductive tract infect ions than men because, compared men’s reproductive system, theirs is closer to the anal and urinary systems. According to UNICEF (2012) about 110,000 people aged 10-19 years died of STD and HIV AIDS in 2012. And from the data of KPAN (2011) young age 20-29 years the highest group affected by PMS was 46.4%. In women, RTI is rather difficult to identify because its symptom is less clear than that in men. Among other kinds of RTIs, STD is a kind of infectious diseases frequently found and transmitted via sexual intercourses. STD’s types are syphilis, gonorrhea, limfogranuloma venereal, genital warts, herpes and etcetera. Based on the Health Profile of Central Java Province in 2012, the type of STD that was subject to treatments was one identified according to the syndrome. And, it was cured based on the standard. The number of cases found Central Java Province in 2012 was 8,671,less than those found in 2011 (10,752 cases). Purpose: To find out how the youth attitudes toward the prevent ionof sexually transmitted diseases in the 3rd Grade of the Islamic Senior High School (MA) “X” Sub-district ofMranggen, Demak Regency. Abstract

ZSM-5 membranes have been prepared using a novel seeding method. By sonicating ZSM-5 seed crystals in the presence of a stainless steel mesh of size followed by a controlled low temperature synthesis step it has been shown by XRD, FTIR, and SEM-EDX. The growth of ZSM-5 zeolite at stainless steel can be used to produce ZSM-5 zeolite membranes on reactor vessel with surface-to-volume ratio was the highest of the reactor vessel. Surface-to-volume ratio influences the heat-transfer during the synthesis, which further governs the crystallization of ZSM-5. It was found that the higher the surface-to-volume of the reactor, the more crystalline the resulting product. The result for the theoretical review paper were necessary to research the synthesis of ZSM-5 membrane based on the variation of type and size stainless steel and pretreatment of thestainless steel to use as a membrane suppport. The ratio of surface area to volume of the first reactor is the highest 1.44 influence more effective heat transfer process and the crystallinity of the zeolite ZSM-5 in the synthesis of ZSM-5 zeolite. Keywords: ZSM-5 membrane, type and size of the stainless steel, pretreatment, vessel reactor.

Abstract

The development of the modern age is a lot of changes in education is the paradigm of teacher-centered learninginto student-centered learning which has a very important role in maximizing its competence in classroom management. One of the lessons in chemistry education that has problems is organic chemistry courses. Based onthe reflections applied to teachers and students "What has been gained from the learning process?", "What is thevalue obtained while the process is underway?" And "What will be done next (implementation)?". The results arestill very unsatisfactory, this is due to the limited ability of lecturers in the learning process. Associated with these conditions, then of course required intensive changes and planned for comprehensive improvement associated with the input to be generated. Efforts to be made is to improve the paradigm of learning. The selected learning paradigm is Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm (PPR). Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm was chosen because based on the results of research can improve the performance of lecturers in teaching, improve the readiness of lecturers in teaching, and make students able to reflect the learning process, and students become more active. The research was conducted following a workshop with lecturers who have implemented Reflective Pedagogy at Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta. Stages in Reflective Pedagogy are context, experience, reflection, action and evaluation. It is expected by the end of two meetings. To be able to apply PPR, a lecturer needs to be equipped with special training on PPR-based teaching strategies as well asreflection skills (ICAJE, 1993, Gwaza et al., 2010; Schaub-de Jong dkk.2011; Wijoyo et al., 2016). Based on the results of the teacher reflection, it is increasingly realized that the preparation of learningis very important, and it is realized. While based on the results of reflection students stated that the purpose oflearning is clear, the material relevant to the profession of students, and understanding of the material becomeseasier, and the moral values for students. This case study is also in line with previous research that John Dewey(1933), He argued that learning from experience is enriched by reflecting on experience and Donald A. Schön (1987) theorized that reflective practice represents an important factor to improve professional activity. Jack Mezirow, (1991, 2000) gives reflection a central role in learning because through it we become aware of the ways in which we interpret reality and give meaning to actions and behavior. Writing-to-learn tasks should encourage students to conceptualize writing in a way that emphasizes exploration, expressive inquiry, discovery, problem-solving, decision making and knowledge construction.Key Word: Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm, case study, Organic Subject
