Abstract

Education is a system created and developed to create superior Human Resources to strengthen the nation's competitiveness. But in its development there are various problems, one of which is the uneven distribution of facilities and infrastructure, the application of learning methods and models that are not in accordance with the times and the participation of the community and all stakeholders have not optimally contributed to the development of the education system in Indonesia. The Teaching Campus Program batch 3 is one of the MBKM activities which is a solution to address various educational problems in Indonesia, especially education at the Elementary School level and Junior High School education units. Apart from that, campus teaching is also a form of empowering students to gain field learning and at the same time a form of real contribution as an Agent of Change in the world of education, as well as a forum for the development of student Soft Skills and Hard Skills. The results obtained in the implementation of KM 3 are: (1) has provided training on the adaptation and application of learning technology to teachers and students, (2) the application of learning methods and models that are in accordance with the times, (3) the application of learning that is oriented towards increasing literacy and student numeracy, (4) assisting teachers in school administration and (5) there is an increase in literacy, numeracy, student motivation and the ability to adapt technology by teachers and students.

Abstract

Community service aims to help improve knowledge, skills and public health. This service is carried out to find out and increase the knowledge of the people of Doy Village, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh City regarding traditional medicine. Traditional medicine has been used by people for generations to treat various diseases. This community service was held in June 2022 in Doy Village, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh City, attended by around 20 participants. This activity uses a lecture and counseling model accompanied by a questionnaire instrument to see the level of public knowledge about traditional medicine. The results of this activity are known that the community is 100% about knowing and using traditional medicine. However, about 80% of those who have just planted TOGA plants in their yards. Then after the service was carried out by means of counseling, there was an increase in public knowledge to 100%. Based on this activity it is known that there are about 17 types of plants used by the people of Doy Village as traditional medicine.

Abstract

Nationalism is not a new thing in this world where nationalism has existed since ancient times where a sense of brotherhood and a sense of concern for one another has occurred since ancient times. Nationalism arises from the existence of differences among humans, whether there are differences in ethnicity, religion, clan which are used as glue for human relations. A good relationship will be maintained by a high sense of brotherhood among human beings. The State of Indonesia has many differences including thousands of tribes, languages, customs and religions so that this needs to be maintained as a wealth in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Pancasila as the basis of the State and UUD 1945 as the foundation of national and state life have regulated the pattern of human life and explained the relationship between a good sense of justice in Indonesian society.

Abstract

Aromatherapy candles are one of the best-selling and popular products. Apart from being used as therapy by means of inhalers, it is also widely used as wedding souvenirs and souvenirs from certain areas by highlighting the distinctive aroma of that area. The Community Service Team chose an aromatherapy candle product as a product that has good business opportunities for mothers and young women in Mon Singet Hamlet, Kajhu Village, Aceh Besar District. Essential oils or essential oils used in making aromatherapy candles are lime and lemongrass, each of which has effectiveness for relaxation (anti-stress) and as a repellent or mosquito repellant. The results of the training show the enthusiasm of the participants in making aromatherapy candles with various attractive shapes and colors. In addition, the participants also understood the ingredients for making aromatherapy candles, their benefits and potential to be used as business opportunities.

Abstract

This community service activity is aimed at increasing face-to-face (offline) student practice and knowledge about the practice of preventing post-Covid 19 symptoms. The activity was held at the 69 State Elementary School (SDN) in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh. The target of this socialization activity is students who spend most of their time playing and studying. The students of SDN 69 are mostly a group of sixth grade students. This service activity began with communication with the teachers at SDN 69 to agree on a time for socialization. Furthermore, at the meeting, brochures were also distributed containing information about the materials needed for the process of making hand sanitizers, manufacturing procedures, theoretical basis, and tricks in making hand sanitizers. Direct practice is carried out with demonstrations of the manufacturing process to finished products accompanied by direct discussions with students. This activity has been able to increase knowledge, insight, and can also improve students' attitudes in Gampong Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh, so that it has the opportunity to inhibit the spread and transmission of post-Covid 19 symptoms in Banda Aceh.
