Abstract

This study aims to see and discuss the direct and indirect effects between variables of emotional intelligence, knowledge management and achievement motivation on the creativity of government agency administrators in Jambi Province, either partially or simultaneously. The research was conducted using a quantitative research method with a survey method carried out in district/city governments in Jambi Province. The unit of analysis is administrator officials who have attended level III leadership education and training in Jambi Province, a population of 601 people and the sample in this study was determined by the total sampling technique considering the number of respondents from the three regions was only 126 people. The hypotheses in this study are: emotional intelligence, knowledge management and achievement motivation have a direct and indirect positive effect either partially or simultaneously on the creativity of administrator officials. Hypothesis testing using path analysis, with a significance level of 5 percent alpha (α = 0.05). This study concludes: that overall there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of emotional intelligence, knowledge management and achievement motivation on the creativity of administrator officials, either partially or simultaneously. The implication of this research is that it is something beyond which is not revealed in this study but can make a better contribution to increasing creativity. In the creativity variable, researchers found indicators of managing change and commitment to change. In the variable of emotional intelligence found indicators of self-development, self-development of others, self-control and patient and tenacious attitudes can increase creativity. In the knowledge management variable found indicators of conflict management, performance management and decision making can increase creativity. Meanwhile, the achievement motivation variable was found to build integrity, strong determination and result orientation to increase creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction, direct compensation, work stress and work environment on turnover intention at PT. Indonesian Bamboo Craft. This study uses quantitative methods with a sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling and the data collection method used a questionnaire. The results of the study show that job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention with a regression coefficient of -0.315 and a significance value of 0.025. Direct compensation has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention with a regression coefficient of -0.295 and a significance value of 0.017. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with a regression coefficient of 0.342 and a significance value of 0.000. The work environment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention with a regression coefficient of -0.207 and a significance value of 0.028. Perceptions of job satisfaction, compensation, work stress and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on turnover intention with a significance value of 0.000. therefore, all hypotheses are accepted. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the tax collection and disbursement of arrears of tax on the increase in taxpayer compliance Tax Office Primary Sawahan Surabaya. Model analysis of the data used in this study is to examine the descriptive statistical analysis and provides an overview of how the influence of a letter of reprimand and a letter forced to liquefaction tax arrears and an increase taxpayer compliance in 2010-2012 at the Tax Office Primary Sawahan Surabaya. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS 16 shows the partial results of hypothesis testing (t-test) or simultaneously (F - test) to prove that the tax collection with a letter of reprimand and a letter has forced, a significant effect on the disbursement of tax arrears with the coefficient of determination shows 46.6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze financial performance as measured by Return on Equity (ROE) on firm value as measured by Tobin's Q as well as to analyze the Corporate Governance mechanism as a moderating variable. The aim of this research is to find empirical proof about (a) the influence of financial performance to firm value, (b) the influence of independent commissioners as moderating variable in the relationships between financial performance and firm value, (c) the influence of audit committee as moderating variable in relationships between financial performance and firm value. The sample of this research is mining firms which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over 2008-2011. The research sample are 10 firms with 39 observations. To analyzed the data using software SPSS ver. 16.0.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of financial performance of banks before and after the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Indonesia. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the balance sheets of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2010-2013. The variables used are financial ratios with Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Non Performing Loan (NPL) indicators. This study uses quantitative methods, data were analyzed with a paired t-test. The results show that the implementation of IFRS has no impact on the financial performance of banks, because in principle the implementation of IFRS is not directly aimed at improving performance.

Abstract

Education can be defined an activity that is carried out in school. Work discipline means an attitude to respect and obey the applicable rules, both written and unwritten, as well as able to follow the rules and to be given sanction for every violation to the duties and authorities given. This research aimed to: 1) analyze the effect of education on employee performance; 2) analyze the effect of discipline on employee performance; 3) analyze the effect of education and work discipline on employee performance in Cooperatives and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Department of Malang Regency. This research method used quantitative methods with primary and secondary data. The data were collected through library study and field study with a sample of 65 people. The data analysis used multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS version 24. The results shows that education has no significant effect on employee performance. In contrast, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Both education and work discipline do not significantly affect employee performance in the Cooperatives and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Department of Malang Regency.

Abstract

Organizational culture and job characteristics are factors that can affect teacher performance in schools. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out whether there is an influence between organizational culture on the performance of Roudlatul Nasyiin Mojokerto teachers, 2) to find out whether there is an influence between job characteristics on the performance of Roudlatul Nasyiin mojokerto teachers. The type of quantitative research, with the object of research of Roudlatul Nasyiin Mojokerto school teachers totaling 69 people, with the analysis carried out is multiple regression. The results of the study stated that there was an influence between organizational culture and the performance of Roudlatul Nasyiin Mojokerto Teachers and there was an influence between Job Characteristics on the Performance of Roudlatul Nasyiin Mojokerto teachers

Abstract

Seeing the important role of entrepreneurship in the Indonesian government's economy, universities in Indonesia have provided education on entrepreneurship for their students. It is intended that their students can become entrepreneurs after graduating from college. However, becoming an entrepreneur is not easy, because it requires strong motivation from within a person to start their own business. The decision to become an entrepreneur is also not popular because of the large responsibilities that must be borne by business owners. Therefore this study wants to see the meaning of entrepreneurship for an alumnus of Business Administration Education. This research was conducted using a qualitative phenomenological method. The results of this study state that several attitudes must be owned by an entrepreneur, challenges that must be faced by an entrepreneur, and the benefits of entrepreneurship. The subjects of this study were alumni of the Universitas Negeri Malang Faculty of Economics and Business Commerce Education who already have their businesses. This research is also expected to be able to provide additional contributions to material about entrepreneurship

Abstract

Firm value is the investor's perception of the company's success in managing the company's resources. Companies are required to think effectively and efficiently and excel in competition. To increase the value of the company, all companies must compete; this study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, and capital structure on firm value through profitability in companies in the raw material-producing sector and the manufacturing industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2016- 2020. This study uses a quantitative descriptive, explanatory approach. The sampling population is companies that are members of the raw material producing and manufacturing sector companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Research samples were obtained from 16 companies. The type of data used is secondary data. The data analysis technique used path analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, and capital structure had a positive and significant effect on profitability. Corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, capital structure, and profitability positively and significantly impact firm value. Profitability can mediate the development of corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, and capital structure on firm value. This study found that profitability can judge the effect of corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, and capital structure on company value in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2022

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on exchange rate stability in five developing countries in Southeast Asia that are members of the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN) geopolitical and economic organization to see the short-term and long-term relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used is secondary data, from International Financial Statistics (IFS) for the period January 2020 to June 2022 using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results show that in the long run the variables that have a positive influence on exchange rate stability are lending rates, exports and the money supply. While the variables that have a negative influence are deposit rates, imports and the current account. In the short term, variables that have a positive influence on exchange rate stability are deposit rates, imports and the current account. However, the variable lending rates, exports and the money supply have a negative effect
