Abstract

The abs the paradigm shift in Indonesian education through the implementation of dynamic curricula demands high adaptability from teachers. However, psychological barriers in the form of a fixed mindset often hinder this transformation. This article aims to analyze the internalization of a growth mindset as a catalyst for transforming teacher personality in facing curricular changes. The research method employed is a literature study with a qualitative approach. The findings suggest that the process of internalizing a growth mindset is capable of fostering adaptive agility and shifting the teacher’s paradigm toward becoming a lifelong learner. This transformation results in a teacher personality that is more open-minded, resilient to criticism, and innovative in documenting ideas through a culture of writing. This study concludes that the success of curriculum changes does not solely depend on technical readiness but is rooted in the functional and adaptive evolution of the teacher's character in meeting contemporary challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze communication patterns between lecturers and students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and identify factors that influence communication effectiveness in supporting learning success. The study was conducted at Indraprasta PGRI University Jakarta with subjects including lecturers teaching Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and students from various study programs taking the course. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis refers to the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the dominant communication pattern was two-way communication, where 80% of respondents stated that lecturers consistently provided opportunities for discussion, and 90% of observations showed a question and answer session during lectures. In addition, 90% of students considered lecturers' language communicative, 85% felt more confident in expressing their opinions due to open communication, and 95% stated that the use of digital media such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Zoom facilitated academic interaction. However, obstacles such as low levels of questioning skills, time constraints, and internet connection issues were still encountered. It was concluded that interactive, humanistic, and open communication supported by digital media and Islamic values significantly contributed to increased participation, motivation, understanding of the material, and the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at Indraprasta PGRI University Jakarta.

Abstract

The increasing moral and character challenges faced by children in the digital era, coupled with changes in parenting practices and reduced parental supervision, have become significant concerns in education. At the same time, films offer considerable potential as educational media that can strengthen character education through the representation of parental figures. This study aims to describe the representation of parents in the film Na Willa as a means of strengthening children's character education. The research employed a qualitative approach using content analysis. The data source was the film Na Willa, written by Reda Gaudiamo. Data were collected by observing, identifying, classifying, and analyzing scenes portraying parental parenting practices in character formation. The findings reveal that the representation of parents in Na Willa embodies five core values of character education: religiosity, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity. These values are reflected through warm and empathetic parenting, effective communication, exemplary behavior, and the encouragement of children's responsibility and independence. The study concludes that Na Willa can serve as an educational medium and a practical reference for parents in fostering children's character development within the family environment.
