Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is inextricably linked to Islamic Cultural History (SKI). Students have grown bored with Islamic Cultural History because it is only taught through the traditional lecture method. However, it is different from MTs. Darur Roja, which is in Cinere, Depok, and West Java. Learning the history of Islamic culture has become one of the students' favorite subjects. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Islamic Cultural History subject was taught at MTs Daarur Roja in Depok, West Java. The research method used is field research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study are: 1) Islamic Cultural History at MTs. Darur Roja Depok is a fun lesson; 2) The Islamic Cultural History Subject at MTs. Darur Roja Depok uses varied methods in accordance with the material presented, although it tends to often use expository methods and role play. 3) The supporting factors in the learning process of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Darur Roja Depok are that most of the students are very happy with stories from the past. 4) The inhibiting factors in the learning process of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Darur Roja Depok are that students who are used to online learning must adapt back to offline learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Principal’s Leadership (variable X1), Training  (variable X2), Motivation  (variable X3) and Teacher  performance (variable Y) at Vocational Schools in Parungpanjang. The design of this hypothesis is Ho: rxy = 0, that there is a significant influence between X and Y and Ha: rxy ≠ 0, that there is a significant influence between x and y. Hypothesis testing is done by comparing the value of t count (th) correlation coefficient x and y (rxy) with the critical value t table (tt): if t count> t table then Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted and vice versa if t count <t table then Ho is accepted , H1 rejected. The research method used by the author is a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The data collection method used is the questionnaire method. Processing data using the SPSS Version 23 program. The results of this study found the Principal’s Leadership (X1) with a calculated t value, it is known that the value of t count is 1.161<  t table 1.983 and the significance level is smaller, it is known that the significance value is 0.249> 0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Training (X2) with the value of t count, it is known that the value of t count is 2,516< t table 1,983 and the significance level is smaller, it is known that the significance value is 0,013> 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Motivation  (X3) with a calculated t value, it is known that the value of t count is 5.705> t table 1.983  and the significance level is smaller, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the Effect of Principal’s Leadership  (X1), Training (X2), Motivation (X3) simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance influenced by other variables outside of this study. Test F  the influence of the principal’s leadership  (X1), Training  (X2), Motivation  (X3) on Teacher performance (Y), known F-count value of 12,595 > F-table 2.432  and significance value of 0,000 < 0.05, then H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected .

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of learning motivation and vocabulary mastery on students' English speaking skills. The research method used is the survey method. A sample of 95 students was selected by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and tests. Data analysis with descriptive statistical methods and regression. The results showed that; (1) There is a significant effect of learning motivation and vocabulary mastery together on the ability to speak English. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and Fh = 16.525. Together, the variables of learning motivation and vocabulary mastery contributed 26.4% to the ability to speak English; (2) There is a significant effect of learning motivation on the ability to speak English. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.001<0.05 and tcount = 3.563 and. The variable of learning motivation contributed 12.74% in improving the ability to speak English; and (3) There is a significant effect of vocabulary mastery on the ability to speak English. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount = 3.716. Vocabulary mastery variable contributes 13.66% in improving English speaking skill.

Abstract

The behavioristic education model in Islam is a learning approach that focuses on changing individual behavior through the use of positive reinforcement and sanctions. In Islam, this model can be applied by integrating Islamic values in the learning approach, so that it can help individuals to achieve predetermined educational goals. In its application, this model requires consistency, attention to individual conditions, as well as continuous evaluation and improvement in order to provide maximum benefits for individuals and society. In the behavioristic education model, educators focus their attention on visible behavior, to form the desired behavior. This model is applied by giving rewards or rewards for good behavior and strengthening this behavior. Conversely, sanctions or punishments are given for bad behavior, so that individuals can learn to avoid unwanted behavior. In conclusion, the behavioristic educational model in Islam can be an alternative in the development of learning approaches that can help individuals to achieve predetermined educational goals. In its application, this model requires special attention to Islamic values as well as consistency and continuous evaluation. Thus, the development of a behavioristic educational model in Islam can provide good benefits for individuals and society. Suggestions and recommendations have been put forward, such as the integration of Islamic values, attention to individual conditions, consistency in application, training and education for educators, as well as continuous evaluation and improvement.

Abstract

Various natural disasters often occur nowadays, as time goes by environmental damage becomes more widespread, this problem certainly cannot be underestimated, because it will have a negative impact and endanger human survival. The cause of this problem is certainly not far from the actions of humans, who always overexploit nature and never protect nature. A similar problem occurred at State Junior High School 2 Pancalang, Kuningan Regency. Through the interview and observation process, it was discovered that students showed an attitude of not caring about the school environment, such as throwing rubbish carelessly, not doing class picket work, and not keeping the school environment clean. This is the background to which this research was conducted. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. This research provides a conclusion that Islamic Religious Education teachers have a significant role in fostering an attitude of caring for the environment at SMP Negeri 2 Pancalang, Kuningan Regency.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the thoughts of Seyyed Hossein Nasr regarding the integration of Islam and science, and their relevance to Islamic Education, especially in Indonesia. The method used in this research is literature study where the writer tries to find, compile and analyze various information through various related sources. The results of this study explain that according to Seyyed Hosein Nasr Muslims do not have to lose their spiritual roots, in order to gain progress in science and technology. According to Nasr view, Islam and science cannot be separated, even Islam in itself wants the progress of science. This thought is not only in the epistemological concept, but also in the ontological realm, related to human existence itself, as well as the axiological realm that determines ethical aspects in human life. It was found that Seyyed Hossein Nasr's paradigm of the integration of Islam and science has an urgency and relevance especially for the implementation of Islamic Education in Indonesia. By offering a sufistic traditionalist approach, which is the root of the Islamic spirituality tradition, it is hoped that it will be able to provide a moral and ethical foundation in the process of Islamic education in Indonesia. Integration of Islam and Science which is not only in the object of knowledge, but unites in humans, as subjects of knowledge, human learners.

Abstract

Writing can be described as one of the components of education to be able to develop useful abilities. Writing as a component of useful skills is the articulation of language used to convey reflections or thoughts in the form of letters, images and words to readers. Writing is the most difficult skill to master compared to the other three skills, especially listening, reading and speaking. The aim of this study is to examine the role of the Padlet application in increasing the ability to write explanatory text by applying a collaborative learning approach. The study methodology applied in this study is a systematic literature review by collecting reading material from various scientific articles and then comparing hypotheses and study findings, which are analyzed descriptively. Obtaining a literature review from 19 scientific articles indexed by SINTA, and SCOPUS, it was found that the Padlet application was able to improve the ability to write explanatory text using a collaborative learning approach. Apart from that, this article also included studies regarding digital teaching materials, Padlet applications, collaborative learning, and explanatory text.

Abstract

The moral credential effect has a huge clout to change other people's sight. The community are ethnicity that potentially has views that change from time to time, including tahlilan tradition that is commonly done by the Muslim community. In community interaction, every person is given influence to each other or has a tendency to follow moral action. This research wants to analyse social phenomena which happened and the alteration that occurred in it. Using instrument observation and research interview resulted from tahlil tradition’s view changed and became a moral view that is more acceptable and make sense, this thing constitutes inclination to another opposite group. Respondents consisted of undergraduate students from the Islamic Religious Education study program at Math'laul Anwar University, Banten, who took part in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons and discussions related to the tahlilan tradition. This research yield shown there’s a fundamental change related tahlil tradition in the community in which students exist. Concept change and this view show the occurrence of moral belief securities. This social phenomenon is very interesting if in-depth research.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the needs of students for a learning medium that can overcome problems during the learning process related to the difficulties of students in understanding the concept of the water cycle. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of students in the use of learning media related to the concept of the water cycle in class V science subjects SDN Tapos 02, Tenjo District, Bogor Regency. The research method used is R&D which refers to the Borg & Gall model with adjustments according to the research context at 5 stages: 1) survey and information gathering; 2) product design; 3) product validation; 4) design revisions and improvements; 5) limited trials. Data was obtained through a limited trial conducted on grade V elementary school students. The results of research on the development of the Sigil application as a learning medium show that the average percentage of student response instrument data obtained 89% of the "very good" category, thus the development of the Sigil application as a learning medium on the concept of the water cycle in grade V elementary science subjects developed by researchers is worthy of being a learning media.
