Abstract

This study aims to analyze the environmental impacts of Class C mining activities and the mitigation efforts undertaken in the Kendeng Mountains region, South Pati, particularly in the villages of Sumbersari, Gadudero, and Wegil. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through field observations and interviews with local communities and village authorities. The results indicate that mining activities have led to land degradation, erosion, flooding, and a decline in groundwater quality. Beyond ecological impacts, social tensions have emerged due to conflicting economic interests among residents. Mitigation efforts such as land reclamation, water resource conservation, and the application of environmentally friendly mining technologies have been initiated but remain suboptimal. Strengthened supervision, law enforcement, and active community participation are essential to achieving sustainable mining management. This study highlights the importance of consistently implementing environmental policies to balance development needs with environmental conservation.

Abstract

Natural disasters are uncontrolled natural events or occurrences that can cause serious damage to the environment, property, and human life. Natural disasters can occur due to various natural factors such as geology, weather, or atmospheric activity. Landslides are one of the natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia as a country with various geographical conditions and different regional topography. Landslides can be triggered by various factors, namely earthquakes, vegetation, and climate. The increase in groundwater levels causes the soil to become saturated, so that the shear strength of the soil decreases. Disaster mitigation is an effort made to reduce the risk of disasters, both before and after a disaster occurs. Disaster mitigation can be done through physical development or increasing public awareness. Disaster mitigation carried out includes spatial planning, development of disaster-resistant infrastructure, environmental monitoring, community outreach, and disaster preparedness. This study aims to examine landslide disaster mitigation and to determine the active involvement of the Rahtawu village community in landslide disaster mitigation. The qualitative method is descriptive in nature with data collection carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation to determine disaster mitigation efforts from the government and local communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding of grade 7 students at MTS Ihya Ulumiddin Tangerang about the material of fasting fiqh and their preparation in welcoming the month of Ramadan. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that although students understand fasting as an obligation that must be carried out, their understanding is limited to technical aspects, such as the time for sahur, breaking the fast, and things that break the fast. The spiritual and moral dimensions of fasting, such as controlling lust, increasing patience, and improving morals, are still not understood. Students' preparation for welcoming the month of Ramadan also seems less than optimal, focusing more on physical and technical aspects than spiritual readiness. Learning fasting fiqh at MTS Ihya Ulumiddin Tangerang still uses methods that tend to be conventional, with little attention to the spiritual dimension of fasting. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the teaching method of fasting fiqh be updated with a more holistic approach, integrating technical and spiritual aspects, and involving students in practical and social activities that can strengthen their understanding of the wisdom of fasting and preparation for welcoming Ramadan.

Abstract

The era of disruption, marked by the rapid transformation of technology and social change, has significantly impacted the ethical values and spirituality of Muslims, particularly in the context of education and da’wah. In this situation, there emerges an urgent need to re-explore authentic and contextual concepts of Islamic morality (akhlak). This study aims to deeply analyze the thoughts of Shaykh Muhammad Al-Uthaymeen on Islamic ethics and evaluate their relevance in the practice of da’wah and Islamic education in the disruption era. Using a narrative review approach and conceptual paper strategy, this study processes secondary data sourced from Al-Uthaymeen’s works and related academic literature through content and thematic analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the concept of ethics according to Al-Uthaymeen is strongly rooted in tawhid (monotheism) and servitude to Allah, with an emphasis on character building through education and an ethical, communicative, and wise approach to da’wah. His thoughts are proven relevant in addressing challenges of digital ethics and moral degradation in contemporary society. This study contributes conceptually to the development of Islamic ethical studies and encourages the reorientation of education and da’wah strategies that are adaptive to the digital social context. The implications of this research highlight the need for integrating tawhidi-based moral values into educational curricula and the development of digital da’wah guidelines grounded in Islamic ethical principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readiness of the community and government in flood disaster mitigation in Dukuh Jawik, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency. With the increasing intensity of rain due to climate change, the frequency of floods has also increased, causing significant impacts on people's lives, including access to education and health. The research method used was a qualitative survey, involving interviews with the community, village government, and literature studies to deepen understanding of flood patterns and their impacts. The results of the study indicate that synergy between the community and the village government is very important in disaster management. The community needs to increase awareness of flood risks and be involved in mitigation programs. On the other hand, the village government must provide adequate infrastructure and evaluate the effectiveness of existing structures, such as embankments and drainage channels. This study recommends the need for education and training for the community regarding disaster management and strengthening communication between the government and residents. With a collaborative approach, Dukuh Jawik can increase resilience to flood disasters and create a safer and more prosperous environment for all its residents.

Abstract

Organic waste management in schools is an important issue in facing environmental challenges in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the processing of organic waste into eco enzyme through the activities of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at Junior High School 1 Maleber. This research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving students in the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating activities. The results showed that this activity succeeded in increasing students' awareness of the importance of organic waste management, as well as strengthening the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, especially in the aspects of mutual cooperation, independence, and critical reasoning. Hands-on practice in organic waste processing not only provides knowledge about fermentation, but also forms a caring attitude towards the environment. Evaluation showed positive changes in students' attitudes and understanding of waste management after participating in this activity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the hadith prohibiting women from going out at night without a mahram, focusing on the social factors underlying this prohibition and its impact on the social life of Muslim women. This issue is important as it relates to the understanding of women's roles in society and the boundaries set by religion. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a case study type of research, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the social and cultural context surrounding this hadith. The findings indicate that this prohibition serves as a protective measure for women, reflects family responsibility, and maintains the honor and dignity of women in society. Although social contexts and security have changed, the principles contained in this hadith remain relevant in building a safe society that respects women's rights. This research is expected to contribute to a broader understanding of women's roles in Islamic society and open new insights into the relationship between religious texts and the evolving social realities.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the science of 'illat al-hadith in understanding and analyzing the traditions about the prohibition of isbal, which is extending clothes beyond the ankles. Isbal is a fiqh issue that causes differences in views among scholars, so it requires in-depth study of the historical aspects and context of Islamic law. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, examining the traditions that mention the prohibition of isbal absolutely and those that relate it to the intention of arrogance (Kibr). The results show two approaches in understanding the prohibition of isbal. First, the absolute prohibition that applies regardless of the intention of the perpetrator. Second, the conditional prohibition that makes the element of pride as illat or cause of the law. This 'illat approach emphasizes the moral purpose of sharia, which is to avoid arrogance, not only assessing external aspects such as the length of clothing. Thus, this approach provides an understanding that is more contextual and relevant to the conditions of modern society. It opens up space for a more flexible interpretation of the law, while still maintaining the basic principles of Islamic sharia. This approach emphasizes the importance of understanding the essence of the law, not just the external form of behavior.
