Abstract

Abstract The word "new creation" appears twice in the Bible, and is only found in Paul's writings, namely in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6: 15. However, there are various interpretations that appear on this word. By using a qualitative literature approach and descriptive method for the text of 2 Corinthians 5:17 it is found that Paul uses sentences in the present form, not the form that will come; "Who is in Christ, he is a new creation," not "Who is in Christ, he will be a new creation." The word kainos refers to a change in attitude, behavior, character and not in material/body. Next is that the word new creation is closely related to change. Change is very closely related to things that are psychological (unconscious mind), not things that are outward. In other words, change is related to things that are "from within" not "from outside" human life.

Abstract

Play and games are an inseparable part of the learning process to develop early childhood skills. Knowledge of arithmetic can be delivered to early childhood, ages 5-6 years, by playing a game. The game is a game of congklak. Congklak is a traditional game that has the benefit of stimulating fine motor skills, and training the child's concentration. Research on Teacher Creativity in Improving Counting Ability of Group B Through the Congklak Game in the Integrated Mahanaim Christian Kindergarten, using the Classroom Action Research methodology. The research model used is the Kurt Lewin model. Four stages are carried out: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. From the four cycles carried out the results are: of the 20 subjects studied the average achievement value was 6.6. 15 children in the high achievement category, 2 children in the moderate category, and 3 children in the low achievement category. Based on initial observations, it was concluded that there was a significant increase in numeracy skills.

Abstract

Improving living standards is a problem that continues to roll from time to time, both with the theme of poverty alleviation or economic empowerment. In the context of the Christian world the church must provide education about the importance of people doing entrepreneurship in order to improve their economy. This article is a qualitative study with a literary approach to reflect biblically about entrepreneurship and how the church cares to do that as its responsibility. In conclusion, Christian counseling approaches can be used to encourage Christian entrepreneurship activities.

Abstract

Evangelism must become the lifestyle of all believers. Evangelism agrees to preach the good news about salvation in Jesus Christ and win people to Him, according to the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20. We have to be a witness of Jesus Christ and His Gospel as our lifestyle. Being a Christian is like being a witness for Jesus. Evangelism and witnessing are a major part of a believer's life with values that are in accordance with Christ's teachings. The Lord Jesus became a positive example of how evangelism became His lifestyle. In practice, the church develops a discipleship process to help, direct and produce the results of the gospel message and establish new believers in fellowship, holy baptized, discipleship, and practice. Being externally applied in two important parts namely go and make all the tribes become disciples of Christ. These two external parts will be accomplished by an effective compilation that has been disciplined as a disciple of Christ holistically. This external implementation guides and encourages each church to diligently preach the Gospel of Christ as a lifestyle in various life discussions.

Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of Mandarin language proficiency for active students of Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kerusso in the context of global evangelism missions. The urgency of this study lies in the growing role of foreign languages, particularly Mandarin, in reaching unreached communities across different parts of the world. With a large number of Mandarin speakers worldwide, proficiency in this language is essential for those involved in evangelism missions to establish effective communication and expand the mission's reach. The primary objective of this research is to demonstrate the importance of foreign language proficiency, especially Mandarin, for active STT Kerusso students involved in global evangelism missions. This study aims to provide insights for theological education institutions in designing curricula that better support foreign language acquisition as an integral part of mission preparation. This research employs a qualitative method with an approach that includes in-depth interviews, literature review, and participatory observation. Interviews were conducted with active students and alumni of STT Kerusso who have been involved in evangelism missions in Mandarin-speaking communities. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify key themes related to the role of foreign languages in evangelism. The findings of this study are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the urgency of foreign language proficiency in global evangelism missions and offer strategic recommendations for STT Kerusso in preparing its students to face future challenges in evangelism.

Abstract

Sunday school teachers must be an example for every child. Sunday school teachers must also be able to provide exciting teachings and involve children in learning so that passive children can participate in learning. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this research can be concluded that. Teachers in Sunday schools can create effective teaching methods that involve children in teaching, such as the question-and-answer method, to encourage children to be active in the learning process, enabling them to be enthusiastic in the teaching process. Sunday school is essential in teaching, helping, and encouraging children to understand what the Bible provides as the right way to live in Christ. Children can shape their attitudes, behavior, and character by following God's commands through the Word of God, taught by parents and Sunday schoolteachers in the Christian faith.

Abstract

Researchers found that 65% of Christian students at Inpres Batnun Elementary School had poor personalities. On average, these students carry out behavior and actions that do not reflect the personality of a disciple of Christ. This is because Christian religious education at SD Inpres Batnun does not have a visible role in guiding students. In this research, the author used a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers also conducted interviews with research subjects to obtain valid data. This research aims to look at the role of Christian religious education in guiding the personality growth of students at SD Inpres Batnun. The research results show that Christian religious educators at SD Inpres Batnun do not play a good role in guiding students' personality growth. The researchers developed strategies that could be carried out by Christian religious educators at SD Inpres Batnun to guide students' personality growth.

Abstract: God tests a person's faith through problems that come repeatedly in life. God is sovereign and incontrol of every human life, history, existence and order of the universe. Abstract

This article reviews the importance of Christian Education being taught to children as early as possible to improve children's faith education so that children have genuine and good faith in God. Introducing Christian education from an early age to students, it will increase students' spiritual potential. 21st-century education is characterized by the use of technology in learning as a requirement of the industrial era 4.0. Rapid and increasingly sophisticated technological advances have significantly changed human life in various fields. This research aims to identify the challenges and efforts experienced by Christian education in the digital era in instilling Christian teaching values in early childhood. This research uses the type of Library Research. The efforts made by Christian education in schools are to align education with current developments through technology-based learning media.

Abstract

AbstractThe success of the child's growth and development process is an important task for parents inaccompanying and guiding children to reach the top of the destiny of every talent, passion andlonging to be realized. With world conditions that are not getting better, even if technology is gettingbetter and even starting to replace the roles and functions of humans in carrying out the process ofdaily activities. It really creates a lot of new problems, especially for the future generations of God'schurch in the future. Parents as the holder of an important role in the process of growth anddevelopment and formation of children's character are expected to become a dependent place forchildren in the world as representatives of God on earth. The author uses the literature studymethod to describe the form of God's intervention in parental involvement in the learning style of theSelf-Learning Generation (Homeschooling).
