Abstract

Dance is strongly connected to life, freedom, salvation, restoration and victory over the enemies. The Bible uses the word dance for the first time in the verse when Miriam took her tambourine and led the Israelites in a victorious dance after they had been set free from the Egyptians, who chased them into the red sea. God gave them salvation, victory, deliverance, and life. Miriam’s dance was a respond and expression of victory over the enemies (Ex. 15:20). Dance or body movement is a language of communication equal to words, music, or other expressed art. For this reason, when a dance is communicating the word of God, for certain people or in certain situations then it could becalled a prophetic dance. To be a dancer is a great calling. A calling to bring back what has been taken from heaven, a calling to love God more and more, a calling to make a new covenant between men and God. Prophetic dance is a way to serve God through dance. In this way a dancer is not an artist who chooses to be served rather than to serve. But the principle is when one is appointed to be a leader, the more is his responsibility to serve his brethrens. Every movement is a body language to communicate the messages. Within the context of dance, every movement should carry a message in a way that people would understand the meaning when they see the dance.

Abstract

Education is very vital to improve the quality of human resource. Therefore moral and spiritual education is very important for men in order to change the mindset, character, and increasing intelligence. Jesus startyed his ministry educating or teaching (Matthew 4:23). Every one who heard his teaching and believed him always experiences a change of attitude from bad to good (the apostles, Zaccheus, Samaritan woman). The Lord Jesus understood very well that education consists of very important teachings for one’s life. Teaching the Word of God contributed to the growth of the faith of the early church. It even contributed to the growth in quantity (Acts 2:41-42). The first and major Education agent here is the family. Parents are the main teacher for their children. Not only family, but then there is the church for the believers. As one of the assignments of the church is teaching (didache). The church has to teach or educate the people according to the Bible. Christian education needs to have the basic understanding that God is the source of knowledge or the Truth.3 The most important purpose of a Christian education is helping the students to know God through Jesus Christ, through His Word. To be able to achieve this, we need to have educators who deeply know God, through Jesus Christ and have experienced spiritual renewal.Keywords:; ;

Abstract

The concept of the presence of God in the midst of believers is very important, because when God is present all changes, the Book of Genesis records that before the world was created and the Spirit of God hovered in chaotic and formless world conditions. God's presence in Indonesia and especially for believers will have an impact and influence towards the better. Every believer must be a change agent and God's representative on earth, so that others can see and feel God's presence in real life. The church as an organization must also appear with all its existence for the life of the state and nation, the church must have "sensitivity" to see the surroundings, so that the church does not become an exclusive organization or a collection of saints who do nothing for their environment.

Abstract

Apologetics as a branch of Theology is based on the main purpose that is to bring people to maturity and spread the Gospel. Reading the Bible in a holistic way, apologetics has been executed since the very beginning of the world’s existance and apologetics was started by God Himself when He answered those who opposed Him. Appologetics has continued to the first church and up to now when proofing the truth of the Christian belief during evangelisation and even as an act of counselling. The connection between apologetics and evangelisation is quite close, as apologetics try to answer the questionings of the Chritian beliefs,which could be a direct act of evangelisation. Wilbur Smit wrote “a spoken or written accountability of what we are doing or the Truth we are believing”. Wilbur Smit believes that being accountable is part of our conviction. Very fundamental as an apologetic is that he should have a deep conviction and sanctifies Christ in his life. This is a key factor, because the presuppostion here is that the Jesus Christ is Lord of the thoughts of an apologetic. The apologetic arguments should be towards the Lordship of Jesus Christ and wisdom of God and founded on the fear of the Lord. Foolishnes of unbelief is not to be exposed for apologetic is as neutral as other human activity. Any apologetic argument should have the Truth of God as the presupposition.

Abstract

The topic of leadership becomes increasingly important because people are increasingly talking about and fighting over it as a determinant factor of the success of a job. Leadership plays an important role in determining the advance or setback of an organization or group. Joshua can be used as a figure in today's leadership. Speaking of character, Joshua is a very consistent person. This fact can be seen when Joshua became a servant of Moses. His life shows an example of great loyalty, obedience, commitment, determination, communicative and a strong faith. The incident of sending spies to the land of Canaan, Joshua and Caleb were not only determined to do what was assigned, but the determination that was in them was also shown in concrete actions. This event showed when the tasks and responsibilities are completed, the ten spies from the ten tribes of Israel gave exaggerated report about the condition of the land of Canaan and displayed pessimism and an exaggerated impression on the Israelites.

Abstract

Christianity believes and have faith in the Triune God. Each Person of the Trinity has different role but has the same attribute, namely both Holy, Powerful and worthy of worship. In the Christian life, Holy Spirit is another helper but of one kind as God Himself. The Holy Spirit is the Person promised by the Lord Jesus to His disciples. The Holy Spirit dwells and leads everyone who has believed in Christ and make their lives change drastically. The Spirit-led life is called ‘Life’, in the Greeks term “Peripatusin” (Peripatousin), meaning walking, in this case refers to all activities in the life of the believer.1 1 Corinthians 1:26 shows evidence of the transformation of those who have received and are led by the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Because of the leading of the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, the early Church grew very rapidly despite of great persecution. The Holy Spirit also reveals new and fresh truth to each generation. And through the Holy Spirit, people can repent, know and believe in Jesus (1 Corinthians 12:3) so that by the Spirit people can follow Christ’s example (2Corintians 3:18)2. The role of the Holy Spirit in leading the Church today is to liberate the Church as a whole and to give boldness to the Church in witnessing for Him.
